Look! Behold! A moving time capsule so real you can almost feel it breathing. Hear a dead woman speak and watch you address yourself directly. See the living ghost of your past self and hold him tight, because if you play your cards right he’s not going anywhere.
Freeze! Freeze this moment in time! Record it. In a snapshot, a video, a voice. See a baby meeting a puppy. See a shooting. See history in the making and see someone loving their daughter. Capture your present to hold onto your past. Send it in waves of light through the air and send your moment away to anyone that would take it.
Capture a tiny fraction of an atom of the love in that moment and keep it for posterity. Hold close the image of a person you’ll never meet and know that this is reality, even if it’s the past.
We cannot travel to the past but we can preserve small pieces of the present that become pieces of the past and shout into the future. We are doing it every day. Valuing the human existence so much that we’ve decided to share every moment of it on a global scale.
We are archeologists of the present, time travelers of the past, the past of the future. We created time and made it slow and created to it a love letter in the form of a photo and pinned it on a website like the internet was the refrigerator of the world.
be kind. be ridiculously, radically, endlessly kind. be a part of someone’s good day. send nice thoughts, send positive vibes, send support and love and well wishes. be kind. so often we wish for tomorrow to be a good day when we are at our lowest. some sort of sign that it gets better. be a part of that better day for someone. the world does not magically decide that it will be softer on you today, tomorrow, the next day. and sometimes it starts with a message from someone else, maybe a little bit of inner strength to pull yourself up and take a shower, maybe a bit of sunlight makes the day better. but it’s these small things, these soft things that make a day better. so be kind. don’t ever think about being anything other than kind. be a part of someone’s good day because you don’t know how desperate they might be for it.
