“In fact, I love that fawn, cutting roses in your garden— which is why I’ve earned your wrath. If you could see him, the others would never find you. “Scrape me some honey from your hive,” he said. “I’ll have mine from your tongue.” I replied. Then he bristled and said to me, sullen: “And sin before the living God?” “The sin’s on me,” I answered, “my lord.”

John and Mal chapter 1, page 4: when Mal asked what music John likes, he said he “doesn’t really listen to music,” which Mal found absurd and unacceptable. So he had some assigned listening.

From pride last year, when I looked at the ugly Target lesbian dress and said “What if it slayed?”

In Sylva Umbrarum meets The Chromatic Fantasy!
Yesterday’s prompts was “crossover”, so I drew something pretty much just for me: the characters from my capstone, In Sylva Umbrarum, meeting @dirtcup’s characters from their amazing book, The Chromatic Fantasy. I was telling someone about ISU when they said “hey that sounds a lot like this other comic!” And man oh man… medieval fantasy, transgenderism, homosexuality, religious trauma, sun-and-moon coded characters… I thought it would feel bad to find out someone has done something so similar to what I did, but instead I’m like “Hell yeah! Two cakes!” (And one of them is full of hot t4t sex)
Anyway buy The Chromatic Fantasy here and read In Sylva Umbrarum here
