Legit just rewatched the movie! Moms first time seeing it (she started sobbing at the end😭)
Oofta, I’ve been writing future scenes for the Crescent’s Ascent and made myself cry last night. I’m sure it’s normal for fanwriters, but this is getting so much darker than I had thought when I wrote the first chapter and had the idea 😬 I mean, I love it but like it’s really giving me a punch to the gut. But in a good way, yk? Hehe, stay tuned! I promise it will have a happy ending!
You can read the fic here :)
Fan artwork for a beautiful piece FIVE TIMES on AO3 by @pickledcarrotsandradish
🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙🐢💙
This is the first part of this art, and 2 will be released soon as I finish it. In this art, the time frames are taken after getting to know the Leader.
The time frame in the second art will be taken towards the end.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the author for this work. It was a great pleasure to read it! The idea itself is amazing and could not be better implemented.
I wish you inspiration and strength!
Have a good morning/afternoon/night.

*sobs*
lol this is perfect!!
Cutey cakes!
Lord bless you! 💜
They both need sleep. I like to think Leo hangs out with Donnie in the later hours of the night to make sure his twin won't overwork himself but sometimes he ends up dozing off. Don lets him cause that way Leo at least gets some rest.
Rise Ramblings #91
So, I’ve noticed that Donatello has a habit of being inspired by what he sees and adopting those aspects into himself.
This system of integration is most prevalent when it comes to the people he loves or admires.
Take one of his favorite stims, for instance.
You don’t have to look too far to find that phrase's source.
He admires and loves his Papa, thus one of his dad’s favorite sayings is one of his favorites as well.
This aspect of incorporation also extends to his beloved heroes.
One of my favorite examples are his signature eyebrows.
He didn’t have them, then he did. We know that he started drawing them on nine years ago (with a sharpie, lol) but I wonder where he got the idea for the eyebrows in the first place…
Before he knew that Lou Jitsu was his father, Donnie had already incorporated the man’s eyebrows into his mask. Therefore, one can argue that the adoption of Lou’s well-coiffed brows was not due to a simple familial bond. Instead, Donnie just wanted to be more like his hero, Lou Jitsu (and thought the brows were cool, lol.)
However, that’s not the only hero Donatello took inspiration from.
I literally love this so much! Happy Easter everyone!
They all went home and told Dad all about how this man had so many stories to tell them and how nice He was and His name was Jesus and- to this day, Splinter wonders if they all hit their heads and died for a moment and saw Heaven. Thus, the over cautious Dad awakens. (Just a funny idea.)
(Based on the painting, 'what happened to your hand?')
Have a blessed Easter Sunday! Jesus loves you, and may God bless you! ✝️❤️💜💙🧡

“I hope this email finds you well”
First of all the only emails that ever find me well are from AO3
Surprisingly good Donnie analysis I wrote at like 11 pm (tell me if this makes no sense)
It pisses me off soooooo much when I see Donnie characterised as cold and uncaring towards his brothers rahhhhhhh
Donnie is not cold and uncaring. Especially not towards his brothers. He cares so deeply for them, and would do anything for them. That’s when he becomes cold and uncaring. He would kill for them, and take joy in the idea that he’s protecting them. He cares for them almost masochistically, fixing everything that makes him a liability in comparison to them, before doing the same to them, not once, but twice.
(Couldn’t find the gif from Donnie’s Gifts that I wanted but you get the idea)
He actively jeopardises his relationships with them to keep them safe. To help them become better leaders. To keep them focused.
Donnie cares for them so much, so intensely, that he would change everything about himself and then them just to make sure they’re safe. He would rather die than let them get hurt, but he also would rather see them hurting than dead.
He may act violently towards them at times, and he may be bad at expressing his emotions, but he will never stop fighting for his brothers. Even if it means losing them and himself in the process, even if it means shutting his emotions down and faking the image of not caring. Because if anyone finds out how much he cares, they could use that against him. And that scares him.
Basically my tmnt experience
Watching 2012: My heart has been overwhelmed by insatiable love. I will never be the same.
Watching the 2007 movie: My heart has been overwhelmed by insatiable love. I will never be the same.
Watching Rise: My heart has been overwhelmed by insatiable love. I will never be the same.
Watching 2003: My heart has been overwhelmed by insatiable love. I will never be the same.

I'm... I'm just wondering how many times this will happen. How can there be this much artistry and this many good characters in a single franchise? It's unnatural.
