Y’all I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA lately, I’ve been reading a lot but I haven’t been able to get back into writing. Part of it’s writer’s block, but part of it is just not having the motivation or the time to write anything since I’m taking five college classes atm as well as working almost full time hours at my job. Requests are still open atm, mostly for ST or MHA, as that’s what I’m more into atm, but I’ll write for pretty much any fandom listed in my masterlist :) every hit I get on my currently posted fic gives me a little more motivation to get back into it, and I can’t thank everyone who’s read, liked, or reblogged it enough. You guys are amazing and I genuinely appreciate it so much. I still can’t believe it got as much attention as it did, and I really don’t want to let anyone down by just never posting again. I promise I’m still here, my inbox is open as are my DMs, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to be back soon :)

Comforting Eddie Munson Headcannons

For starters, the main reasons he’s likely to be upset is the overwhelming amount of hate people could be imposing on his band, people not making it to Hellfire, or people bullying him naturally.

He normally doesn’t let hate or bullying get to him since technically he’s a grown ass man and does what he wants, but eventually it does start to hurt a little.

Another reason would be insecurities about you, people have always said that you’re “out of his league” (even if you’ve always reassured him that if anything he’s out of your league)

He’d get really bothered by any comments about you, especially if some hot-shot dickhead made it. (Jason, Steve, etc.)

He’d NEVER tell you though.

No matter how up-front and carefree he is, he doesn’t want you to feel guilty or like it was your fault.

Even if he knew that if he was with anyone else it’d still happen.

Because people suck.

Of course, your s/o senses start tingling and you confront him as to why he’s been so down lately.

He brushed it off as just being tired from late nights of practice and d&d.

But he knows you’re not stupid.

You leave it there for that night but bring it up again a few days later.

It takes an hour of nagging and receipts to get him to admit that he’s been feeling off.

He finally admits that he’s super bothered by how many people gawk at you and how you could have so much better than some random freak, metalhead, nerd loser.

You were actually in disbelief.

You just said, “I probably could have better”, and it literally crushes him.

It felt like his heart was stomped into a lava pit! But before you could feel like you just kicked a puppy 18 times, you reassured him,

“But don’t you think I would’ve chosen that by now if I wanted ‘better’.” He just looks up at you,

“What do you mean?”

“Eddie, you’re all I’ve ever wanted, why would that suddenly change because some asshole said so? The government says D&D is bad and have we ever stopped playing?”

This sudden overwhelming feeling of love rushes over him and he crawls into your arms, sobbing,

“B-But, no one likes me,” he hiccups, “W-Why do you even like me?”

“I don’t like you Eddie, I love you, so much. Why? I’ll never know, but I’ll always be here.” He always loved how you worded things.

You just cradled him for the next hour and a half, assuring him that you weren’t going anywhere and that nobody could change that.

And although he believed you, he clutched onto you for dear life, just in case.

After that, you’d flaunt him in public like a shiny new object.

You’d begin showing him off to all your friends in school and you’d take them to his shows.

You’d occasionally invite a few people to come to a few campaigns, teaching them how to play.

Eddie had literally never been more in love.

Just the feeling that you cared that much was enough to make his heart explode on its own.

AND THAT WAS ACTUALLY ADORABLE. Also, since this thought came to me randomly, Eddie’s totally the type to say “the time? oh, it’s like two-and-a-half.” just to bother someone bc he’s a little shit

A very specific idea/scenario I have about Alastor's sleeping habits

He barely even sleeps in the first place. He sleeps like only a few hours a week, in one go. He locks himself up in his room once a week, sleeps for 4 hours straight and that's it. And since he doesn't sleep much, each time he does he falls into a deep slumber and it's absolutely impossible to wake him up he's straight up passed out until he gets fully recharged.

He does this because the idea of being in a vulnerable position where anyone could do anything to him while he's completely defenseless is too unsettling for him, so he sleeps as little as he can and always makes sure he's locked up first, away from everyone else's eyes.

HOWEVER, one time he's playing cards with the rest of the hotel, and because he got unconsciously so comfortable around them, he accidently falls asleep on the couch during the game. Everyone is shocked because they didn't even know he actually needed to sleep (they always hear him walk around the hotel humming at night like an absolute creep so they just all collectively assumed he didn't need to sleep).

Charlie panicks a little because nothing seems to wake him up, but he's still breathing and seems fine, eventually they all just let him sleep there and keep on going with their card games since the noise doesn't seem to bother him. Charlie even put a blanket on him, and Angel initially wants to draw something on his face as a prank but in the end everyone agrees not to try anything like this, because who knows how the radio demon would react,,, could be dangerous.

A few hours later Alastor finally wakes up, immediately understands what happened and plays it cool like "Oh dear, looks like I passed out, too bad I couldn't finish the game :) oopsie" but internally he's SCREAMING
