Happy holidays and merry Christmas @lady-divine-writes . I'm your secret santa from the event organized by @mabsgatos .
I hope you like it this little moment of softness with the ineffable husbands : Nap time at the cottage
Absolutely delightfully batshit things that are canon from the Good Omens book but (as far as I can remember) didn’t make it into the tv series:
- Elvis never died and works as a burger-cook at Burger Lord, the fast food chain owned by Famine
- Burger Lord franchises are banned in France
- Adam has a much older sister named Sarah and I would pay so much money for a chapter from her POV
- Baby #3 from the hospital switch grows up in Tadfield too, is called 'Greasy Johnson' and his gang of kids are the Them's greatest enemies
- Adam resurrects the postman Death killed and the postman immediately goes back to work, delivering Agnes Nutter's box to Newt and Anathema. It's also strongly implied the postman, unlike the rest of the world, remembers everything
- Adam also resurrected the ten telephone salespeople Hatsur killed. They don't remember anything. It's probably for the best.
- The Them meet the Metatron and are disappointed it isn't a transformer. They make their disappointment known. Loudly.
- Warlock Dowling is good at math, likes baseball and "plastic toys that transform into other plastic toys"
Aziraphale through the ficverse, it was my first drawing project after discovering the TV show, the book and the fandom. At the time, i’ve almost stopped drawing, I can’t thank enough all the artists who gave me the inspiration to resume creating.

Wake up, Good Omens fandom! We're doing something special!
May 10 is both what is often cited as the date the book published (in 1990) and it's the day St Dunstan in the East Church (Neil's inspiration for the scene) would've matched up with the episode 3 Blitz scene (1941).
Bring on your fan works set between '41 and '90!
New or already shared fan works alike, they cover nearly 50 years of Crowley and Aziraphale knowing the other would absolutely, without a doubt save them. That's 50 years of "you can't deny this feeling".
40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. There's so much you can do with those eras, for Aziraphale and Crowley, other angels and demons, and even many of the humans! Especially in bookverse.
Or do something AU and toss canon to the wind!
(I personally love that 1967, another Hard Times cold open scene year, is when London decided to turn the remains of the Blitz scene church INTO A GARDEN. Crowley definitely had something to do with that.)
You can use the tag for any Good Omens celebrations you have on May 10 but especially for showing those fan works set between 1941 (the Blitz scene!) and 1990 (when the book came out!)
AND HEY!
ANY HELP getting the word out is super. I am but a small fan with an even smaller reach. I want anyone who wants to participate to have a chance to hear about it! Thanks SO SO MUCH!
And speaking of thanks: THANK YOU @flantasticclaude for your enthusiasm for this sudden fandom event, and stepping in to make the above wonderful, rainbow-filled graphic to get the word out.🌈😇😈
Let's all have an amazing fandom celebration on May 10!
Gift for my best friend, more CatOmens

Hello mr. gaiman, how much of what we'll see on GO2 is cgi compared to the first season?
-sincerely, a practical effects fan
There's an enormous amount of practical effects in Season 2. We built so much of it.
When we were writing it, I prided myself that that it wouldn't have anywhere near the amount of CGI that Season 1 did.
And now it's almost done, I'd say there are about 1,500 CGI shots in Season 2, as compared to Season 1's 1000 shots. But I think a lot of them are going to be harder to see as CGI.
(Watch this video about Season 1 CGI. We've built a lot more Soho than existed on season 1, for example, but we are still having to place it in London.)
Absolutely beautiful
To celebrate the big news (f***** yeah !!!! Season 2), I finished my most important project
drawings mostly Good Omens or "original" stuffs they/them french https://linktr.ee/enitnaaezara
