Klaus Mikaelson From The Originals Personality Type:

Klaus Mikaelson from the Originals Personality Type:

Myers Briggs: ENTJ

Te: Klaus is efficient and practical, and becomes aggravated when others do not live up to his standards of efficiency. Klaus is also very goal oriented. He does not remain inactive for long and is always trying to find a means to get whatever it is he wants. He will often act on his own instead of following his siblings’ plan because he believes his way is more efficient. Like in season one when he saves Marcel instead of following the original plan he and Rebekah concocted to save Elijah.

Ni: Klaus is adept at strategy, as Rebekah puts it “there is none more diabolical.” Klaus always develops a plan before acting. He rarely goes into battle without a strategy. He is also very intuitive about people and knows how to manipulate their emotions. He uses his insights about people to his advantage and hardly misses much.

Se: Klaus is very strong and a great fighter due to being the only Original Hybrid. Klaus generally prefers to plan ahead, but can still be very impulsive should the situation demand it. He is great at reading a situation and responding accordingly.

Fi: Klaus cares about very few people, specifically his family. He does not trust others easily and lets few people into his heart. He struggles to connect with people other than his loved ones, who he would do anything for. Klaus is not very ethical, and it takes having a child to finally make him a better person. He does care about the werewolves because he is one of them and feels a connection to them, and is repulsed when he comes across the vampire purists.

Enneagram: 8w7

Klaus believes that the only way to protect his family is to acquire power. He spends the entirety of the Originals vanquishing enemies that could be potential threats to his family. He establishes power in New Orleans because he believes it will protect his daughter from those who would harm her. He can be aggressive and controlling, but the best in him is brought out by Hope, who helps him move to 2. When stressed, he becomes paranoid and secretive at 5. He can also be hedonistic and thrill seeking, as he bores easily.

Temperament: Choleric Sanguine

Klaus is a task oriented, driven individual who is very focused on getting things done. He believes he must be in charge because he believes is the only one who can get things done effectively. He also has a need to be social and can be quite charming, and sometimes very impulsive.

Erik/ the Phantom of the Opera personality type: INTJ 4w5

Myers Briggs: INTJ

Ni: Erik is excellent at predicting future outcomes. He always knows what people are going to do next and is a meticulous strategist and planner. His primary focus is making his personal artistic vision come to fruition, which is having his opera performed with Christine as the prima donna. He is intuitive about what people are thinking and what their motivations are.

Te: Erik is efficient and practical. He becomes frustrated when he believes other people aren’t doing their jobs adequately and manipulates everyone at the opera house in order to accomplish his goals. He can be ruthless when it comes to accomplishing his goals and will even harm others to make his point, like with Joseph Buquet.

Fi: Erik doesn’t have many people he cares about; he really only cares for Christine. Erik’s Fi is immature and so he is prone to outbursts of emotion. He does not regulate his emotions very well due to having been rejected by society his entire life.

Se: Erik is agile and skilled in combat. He is a skilled swordsman and holds his own against Raoul. He can sometimes be impulsive, but usually his actions serve to help him achieve some sort of goal.

Enneagram: 4w5

Erik is emotional and intense. He expresses himself through his art and his artistic vision is based on himself instead of what he thinks will please others. He is authentic and individualistic, and moves to 2 in times of stress. When he fails to win Christine’s love he kidnaps her and tries to manipulate her into choosing him over Raoul. Erik is also very knowledgeble and uses his various skills to protect himself from the outside world.

Instinctual variant: sx/so

Erik’s primary concern is that he wants to be loved and in a relationship, and becomes obsessed with Christine for this reason. He uses his music to express his sexuality and desire for intimacy that he has never been able to experience due to his appearance. Erik wants to be accepted by society, but has never felt acceptance due to his appearance. He wishes for people to show him kindness and when he is finally shown kindness by Christine, he finally demonstrates an ability to show compassion.

Temperament: Melancholic Choleric

Erik is an analytical thinker and a deeply emotional person. He wants things done right in the opera house and becomes annoyed when he believes people to be incompetent. He is also efficient and can be bossy and demanding of the managers in the opera house. He is very particular about how he wants things done and becomes frustrated when people do not listen to him. He can be blunt with people when he feels they are not doing things correctly.

Wednesday: Wednesday Addams: INTJ 5w4

Myers Briggs: INTJ

Ni: Wednesday processes everything around her through her intuition- she follows hunches about the case, like looking into the Gates family mansion, Crackstone’s Crypt, etc. Wednesday quickly sizes up everyone around her as soon as she meets them, often reading between the lines to poing out what they’re really thinking. She always prefers to follow a plan before leaping into action, but can be quite reckless when pursuing a lead if it will get her closer to the truth. She trusts her visions despite everyone else saying they’re unreliable, because she kust knows they’re true.

Te: Wednesday is often very blunt to those around her. She never sugarcoats her words when arguing a point to someone, instead stating the facts as she sees them. She is efficient and pragmatic, and distrusts her own emotions. Wednesday finds it hard to admit to herself she has feelings for (SPOILERS) Tyler, only acting on these feelings after trying to ignore them for much of the season. Wednesday is not hesitant to point out her intuitive conclusions once she’s reached them, often times being perplexed by the offense taken by others.

Fi: At the end of the day, however, Wednesday is capable of deep emotions, displaying a protective nature over Pugsley by trying to get him to toughen up after her father’s arrest. She goes to great lengths to prove her father’s inocence, despite not always expressing how deep her love is for her family. She cares a great deal about Enid, expressing protectiveness over her multiple times despite trying to present an unemotional façade.

Se: Wednesday can be impulsive at times, and this impulsivity often puts her and her friends at risk. She does better in the mental world as opposed to the physical, but is skilled at certain physical tasks she devotes herself to, such as fencing and archery. She doesn’t live in the present, instead living in her own mental world, turning every problem into a puzzle to solve.

Enneagram: 5w4

Wednesday is a teenage author and the protagonist of her three unpublished novels, Viper, mirrors how she views herself- a “girl detective” like Wednesday who is “smart, perceptive, chronically misunderstood.” This describes Wednesday perfectly. She views herself as smarter than those around her, able to make connections others miss due to her own unique form of intelligence. She feels like an outsider, a central theme of the show, because of how perceptive she is. She has a tendency to pull away from others, withdrawing into her own mind to solve her problems. She relies on her intellect for any puzzle she comes across.

Legacies: Hope Mikaekson: ISFP 8w9

Myers Briggs: ISFP

Fi: Hope is focused on her internal emotions and cares about the few people she lets into her heart. She initially avoids making friends at the Salvatore School and keeps to herself mostly. She has trouble talking about her feelings with others and with admitting them to herself sometimes.

Se: Hope is skilled in combat and thinks on her feet, always knowing what to do in the moment to save her friends. She is very artistic and uses her paintings to express her feelings. She doesn’t always think everything through and is good at relying on her instincts.

Ni: Hope is intuitive and a good strategist. She is good at making plans when needed, but generally lives in the present. She is intuitive about people’s emotions and discerning their true intentions.

Te: Hope is efficient and pragmatic, but sometimes her feelings get in the way of her logic and this can cause her plans to ocasionally backfire on her. She can be blunt about her logic and isn’t afraid to tell others if she thinks their plan is efficient or not.

Enneagram: 8w9

Hope is tough and protective over her loved ones. She will do anything for the ones she loves, including put other people at risk if someone she cares about is in danger, like when she does a dangerous spell with Lizzie’s help in order to get Landon out of the prison world. Hope will even sacrifice herself for the good of those she loves, like when she goes into the Malivore pit in the Season 1 finale of Legacies. She is passive towards others when she doesn’t need to protect her loved ones. She also ignores her own emotions often to maintain peace with others when she is upset.

Instinctual Variant: sp/ so

Hope is very independent and self reliant. She is confident in her ability to take care of herself and her friends, and will sometimes go off on her own because she trusts her own judgement. She also can be closed off and doesn’t always like to show her feelings. Hope has a strong connection to her community- the Salvatore School. She feels she belongs with other Supernaturals and the school means a lot to her. She will do anything to protect her friends and her community, and is willing to sacrifice herself to save the Salvatore School because she feels a part of that environment.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes: Coriolanus Snow: INTJ 3w2

Myers Briggs: INTJ

Ni: Coriolanus is very intuitive about people and the world around him. He sees underlying patterns in the behavior of others that other people miss. He is a good strategist and an analytical thinker. He has a vision for his future and where his life is supposed to be headed.

Te: He is efficient and practical. He sees external structures as important and believes the world would be chaos without them. He believes in the Hunger Games because he believes they bring order to Panem and prevent another war from taking place. He is an analytical problem solver, and even kills Mayfair in order to preserve his future, seeing her death as a means that is justifiable by the end he desires. He is a creative problem solver and cheats to win the Games after he realizes that they intend to release the snakes in the arena.

Fi: Coriolanus feels a strong connection to Lucy Gray and Tigris. He pretends to like the other students at his school only to get ahead and holds few relationships close to his heart. He feels a strong connection to his mother, although he does not remember her too well.

Se: Coriolanus does not live in the present, but focuses primarily on the future. He acts best when he has a plan in mind, and is very future oriented. When his future is in jeopardy, he impulsively acts to achieve his vision, by cheating in the games and by killing Mayfair when she threatens to expose him for his meeting with the rebels. His Se is immature compared to his other functions, and he doesn’t use it very often.

Enneagram: 3w2

Coriolanus is very focused on becoming a success and restoring the Snow legacy. He cares only about being successful and will sacrifice anything in order to achieve his goals. Coriolanus is also very charming and knows how to make people like him in order to ensure his future as a success. He also shows his 2 wing by taking care of Lucy Gray. He brings her food before she goes into the arena to get her to like him, but also because he feels bad for her. He also makes sure that she’s doing okay.

1.      Desires and Fears

1s desire perfection and fear unworthiness

2s desire love and fear abandonment

3s desire success and fear failure

4s desire specialness and fear normalcy

5s desire knowledge and fear incapability

6s desire security and fear instability

7s desire stimulation and fear entrapment

9s desire peace and fear disruption

2.      Order

The first fear and desire are those of your core type

This is followed by your wing

Then by your first fix

Then by your second fix

Then by your first fix’s wing

Then by your second fix’s wing

3.      Instinctual Variants’ Effect

Sp 1 turns its critical eye towards itself and thinks itself is in need of perfection.

So 1 upholds itself as a banner of virtue for others to follow as a mentor.

Sx 1 turns its critical heat and anger towards the outside world and thinks the outside world is in need of perfection.

Sp 2 acts in a childlike fashion to endear other to it.

So 2 helps the broader environment and takes on tasks to endear itself to others.

Sx 2 seduces an individual with a special relationship to endear itself to that person.

Sp 3 acts against vanity and overfocuses on its work and letting it speak for itself.

So 3 focuses on networking and presenting its polished image to as many people as possible.

So 8 acts as a protector to those around it and tries to remain powerful by shielding those less powerful.

Sx 8 acts in direct rebellion and emotional rawness against others, testing itself against others to find an ideal partner strong enough to surrender (often this search is unconscious.)

Sp 9 focuses on gathering resources so that it can remain stationary and uninvolved.

So 9 acts as an active peacemaker and works towards helping others to avoid conflict.

Sx 9 searches for an ideal partner to remain in stasis with, who will not disturb them or have conflict with them.

4.      Example

My friend is a 3w4 7w8 1w2 sx/sp

His core desires go:

Success>specialness>stimulation>perfection>autonomy>love

His core fears go:

Failure>normalcy>entrapment>unworthiness>enslavement>abandonment

His 3 is attractiveness focused with a side of work focus.

His 7 is fresh experience focused with a side of lifestyle focus.

His 1 is zeal focused with a side of self-criticism focus.

5.      Making the connections

This is a more intuitive (not iNtuitive) process. Make the connections from the basic core fear and desire (example: the core fear of failure feeds into all these other fears as a root cause and all these other fears in combination feed these behaviors)

Look at how the single core fear plays into every other behavior at play and every other fear at play. Flavor each attitude and behavior and fear based on every other factor.

And in conclusion, you have your type evaluated. Congratulations. Go forth into the world in full glory.

Stranger Things: Max Mayfield: ISTP 6w5

Myers Briggs: ISTP

Ti: Max is very analytical. She understands how things work in the world around her, and applies that logical understanding to the Upside Down. She quickly figures out how Vecna’s curse works based on the files she reads, and despite not being a “nerd” like her friends, often surprises them with logical insights. She makes logical, impartial decisions, even risking her life selflessly, because she knows it is the best course of action. She always argues based on logic as opposed to emotion when convincing her friends of her point, even in emotionally charged situations. She’s good at “hacking” different aspects of the Upside Down with her Ti- like using the Sauna Test on Billy when he’s possessed by the Mind Flayer.

Se: Max is very impulsive and trusts her gut. She lives in the moment, pursuing what she wants and not thinking about future repercussions, like when she takes Jane to the mall in Season Three. She does, however, fall into a Ti- Ni loop in Season Four, not living in the moment and withdrawing inward. She is very physically active and enjoys skateboarding. She is practical and more interested in the immediate world than her “nerdy” friends, preferring to improvise than to learn the theoretical explanations of the Upside Down.

Ni: Max likes to develop a plan before leaping into action. She uses her internal logic to assess the situation first, then formulates a plan using those same Ti hacks. She’s good at laying out a detailed plan for how to solve any Upside Down related problem, coming up with clever, creative solutions. She is intuitive about the Upside Down and good at drawing conclusions from the available information about Vecna’s plan.

Fe: Max is selfless and willing to sacrifice herself to save her friends and the world. She doesn’t find it easy to open up to people, especially after the trauma she experiences, but finds it helpful to work through her emotions with Lucas when she feels ready. In season two, she is hurt when her friends don’t tell her things about the Upside Down, because she wants to feel part of the group. She wants to be on the same page as her friends, and is upfront about her feelings in order to do so.

Enneagram: cp6w5

Max values her friendships above everything. She tries hard to be accepted by her friends, and is always loyal to them even when it’s difficult. She faces issues head on, looking to solve problems with the help of her friends rather than running in the opposite direction. She is cautious and likes to gather data before making a decision, using knowledge to help her solve problems.

The Hunger Games: Finnick Odair: ESFP 3w2

Myers Briggs: ESFP

Se: Finnick is a skilled fighter who can assess situations in the moment quickly and with ease. He is very adaptable and present. He is athletic, follows his impulses and good at trusting his instincts. He doesn’t focus too much on the future, preferring to live in the present.

Fi: Finnick is very charming and friendly, but he has few that he holds close to his heart, such as Annie and Johanna. Finnick has a strong sense of right and wrong and that’s why he becomes involved in the revolution. He was willing to die to protect Katniss, like the other tributes who were involved in the rebellion. He is willing to die for what he believes in.

Te: Finnick is efficient and pragmatic. He is logical and a good problem solver. Tying knots helps calm him because it is an external task that helps distract him from his fears. He is good with logic and quick to point out flaws in other’s reasoning.

Ni: Finnick is intuitive and capable of understanding complex strategies. He is not as focused on the future, but he sometimes thinks about the future and the bad things that could happen due to having Ni lower in his functional stack. Finnick is very intelligent and good at understanding his enemies’ motivations.

Enneagram: 3w2

Finnick is charming and knows how to make people like him. He wins the Games at 14 because he knows how to charm the citizens in the Capitol into liking him. Finnick is also caring and helpful to his friends and loved ones. He knows how to manipulate the people of the Capitol into telling him their secrets or sponsoring him in the Hunger Games.
