one handing the other their jacket because they're feeling cold. "are you cold? here, take my jacket."
B's jacket looks too big on A, making them look more smaller than they are. 'they're adorable', B thinks. A looks at them a little cluelessly, struggling to wear it properly. B just sighs, fond, and helps them out.
A and B introducing each other to new experiences, making each other's lives more fulfilling. "here, I got this for you"; "do you want to go there with me?"
A knows B loves sweets so gets them sweets from their hometown and B looks like Christmas came early. "are all of these for me? you're the best!!" A just smiles fondly at them, nodding happily.
A and B go out with B's friend, who walks a little too quickly. A can't really keep up, but they try, not wanting to bring it up and make the third person feel uncomfortable. B notices, walks slower to match A's pace and gently alerts their friend - "hey C, can we walk a little slower?"
one invites the other over to an activity that they know they'll like, to cheer them up, make them smile or just to spend more time with them.
giving each other compliments that go beyond the surface/looks, choosing to compliment them about their personality. "I like the way you pour your heart into everything you do"; " i don't know what it is that you're doing, but keep doing what you're doing - just keep being yourself"; "I'm able to be myself with you and it feels nice."
one staying back after their lecture to wait for the other (and sometimes pretending that they weren't waiting for a long time, to not make the other feel guilty).
A wants to host B for a change because B does that for them all the time. They're seriously amazed and in awe of B's ability to host, that they become nervous when the time comes. "hey, relax, I came here for you, so you should just be yourself."
A and B hang out at a common friend's house, and B chooses to leave earlier than A. Before they go, they make sure to tell their friend, "please make sure A gets home early and safe."
A and B go to shop for some clothes, and A waits for B right outside the dressing room while they're trying on their clothes. When B comes out, a pleasant smile pulls on their lips to see A still waiting for them. "It's your turn now," B says, placing a gentle hand on A's shoulder, "I'll wait for you right here."
A considers themselves as a soft-spoken person, they don't really raise their voice and because of that, they often feel like they're not heard, or like they have to say something more than once to be heard. it makes them really insecure and they try to be louder, but it's still hard for them to do it most of the time. B always hears them though; reacts even when A calls out for them only once and it never fails to warm A's heart.
When A and B are part of group discussions, one always makes sure that the other is heard / has a chance to give their opinions. "Hey A, what do you think about this?"; "I think B hasn't had a chance to give their opinion yet".
(y'all really seemed to like this one a lot, so here's a part 2! I hope you'll enjoy this one too <3 thank you for all the love and support đź’—)
Hellooo *waves frantically*
Hey buddy!!
*waves with the same enthusiasm ^^*
Friends to lovers prompts? đź‘€
@promptsh20 brings you:
Tokens they gifted each other years ago being worn, displayed and cared for invariably.
Constantly being mistakenly referred to as a couple or partners by outsiders, forcing one, though flattered, to quickly correct them while the other stays silent. because its kinda nice, they enjoy when others see them in that way. It further encourages them to try for more.
“It’s important to me that we stay friends.” “Of course, I feel the same but, can’t we still be friends and more.”
The realization that the hugs they share will never be something they can replicate with anyone else.
Both Knowing they’ll always have their laps and shoulders reserved for each other.
“So you went to the fireworks, and you kissed! Wow did you have fun?” “Really? You know I would’ve much rather have done it with you.”
Anytime they sit next to one another, they find themselves touching. Shoulders, thighs, knees, their honestly never entirely sure how it happens but have accepted it’s unavoidable.
The safety that comes with saying “I love you” frequently to each other but with the price of longing, longing to tell them that they mean it in a different way, a deeper way, a more than friends way.
“I just feel drained, I’m so sorry.” “Hey, it’s okay. I’ll just hold you for bit, I’m just happy to be able to see you.”
Often Doing things friends don’t normally do with one another and feeling the need to clarify that, their other friends don’t, have the same power or access that they give them. They have something different.
Whispering to the other and the small thrill they get from their lips touching the shell of their ear.
“I’ll tell you anything, anything you want to know, I’ll tell you.”
Both feeling jealousy so intensely when it comes to each other that it can’t be simplified to just jealousy.
Both getting hit over the head with puberty and noticing. Heavily obsessing over things that never thought about or feeling things more intensely.
Getting emotional towards each other when it comes to their relationship, because it’s fragile but also the strongest they have with anyone.
“I don’t—was that okay? Like are we doing that now?” “Yeah, I mean, I don’t mind. If your okay?” “Yes, I’m okay. I’m great, I’m good.”
Reeling after having the others scent everywhere around them after spending time together. On their skin, in their clothes, just everywhere.
Playfully teasing each other until one’s bold enough to call the other’s bluff. enough games, their tired of just the prospect of more, they want it, more than anything they want it, want them.
Going from being able to tell each other everything to struggling to decide what is appropriate to share with a friend. It’s more with potential love interest and intimacy with others that they find themselves feeling awkward or tense with each other.
Breaching the point of no return, where now a simple kiss on the forehead, lying down together or even a compliment feels loaded, things they’ve naturally always done becoming suddenly more.
“You don’t this with anyone else, right?” “No, of course not. This our thing.” “Yeah? Our thing. I like that.”
Finding that their more protective of the other than themselves, they love them and care about them and just want shield them from all the bad.
Both being invited to each other families gatherings and events because they’ve known them forever, honestly, their a part of the family.
Caring about the other’s wants, dreams, goals like their own that it’s evident, they’d do anything to help the other achieve or succeed in their aspirations. Anything.
One feeling weary at the rate things are changing between them and fear what it will mean for their friendship while the other is eager to explore a new relationship, one that fits their feelings for each other better.
“Bet you missed me.” “I did miss you, missed you so so bad.”
Staying up late because thoughts of the other are endlessly chasing away their sleep, which only leads to them calling the other and deep conversations that go on into the night.
If their caught in any form of exchange or conversation, heated, deep, soft, playful, it doesn’t matter, your definitely interrupting something or absolutely just missed it.
The thought of anyone touching the other as they have or want making them physically sick, it’s clear now, they’ve always felt more than a friendship with them.
“Your upset, I can tell you know.” “Sometimes I hate that I can’t hide that from you, now though? I’m really fucking happy you noticed.”
Love talking about each other to others because not only are they each others favourite person ever, they know so much about topic.
A/n: Thank you for being my first request! Fun fact, my favourite trope is actually friends to lovers. So, you can imagine how much fun I had with these, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have anon!

Okay, I cried
“Well, I win again, Hero,” Villain smirked, looking down at Hero.  Hero grimaced, blinking rapidly as if trying to keep their eyes open.  “Come on now, get up,” Villain continued, extending a hand out to Hero.  They watched in satisfaction as Hero reached a shaking hand out, about to grasp their own-
Villain stood there, hand extended, as Hero fell to the ground, eyes rolling to the back of their head.  “Hero…?” Villain asked.  No response.  “Hero, stop messing around.  It’s just a handshake…” they huffed.  Why was Hero so infuriating?
“Fine,” Villain accosted.  “I’ll close my eyes, so just take my hand already,” they demanded, shutting their eyes and shaking their empty hand in the air.  They waited for Hero’s hand to slip in to theirs.  But, their hand remained extended.  Villain opened their eyes in confusion.
Hero’s motionless figure was still sprawled on the ground.
“Hero,” they laughed.  Hero was really trying to drag this one out, weren’t they?  They probably shouldn’t have made their feelings for Hero that obvious, but whatever.  Hero had always been freakishly observant… Â
Villain stared down at Hero, willing them to get up.  Still no movement. “Hero, this isn’t funny,” Villain laughed loudly, feeling their heart start to race.  Why weren’t they getting up?
“Come on, you win, Hero,” Villain breathed.  “Now g-get up already,” they panicked, crouching down and shaking Hero.  “Wake up and smell the coffee, Hero,”
Nothing.
Villain wrapped a hand around Hero’s wrist, wincing at how cold their skin was.  Please have a pulse, please have a pulse.  They waited for some sort of beat, noise, anything.  Villain didn’t hear anything.  Maybe they just had a slow heart rate?  They sat there, praying to whatever was up in the skies to help them.  Still no heartbeat.
“Come on, Hero,” Villain screamed, tears streaming down on their face.  “Get up, get up!  What are you doing?!”  They fell to the ground, hands shaking as they held onto Hero’s wrist.
Silence had never been so deafening.
Definitely something I think every writer needs to hear (including myself) <3
What’s your best advice for battling self-doubt as a writer?
Hi! My advice probably isn’t the best, but I hope you find something helpful :)
I alternate between being wildly confident in my abilities and thinking that I’m barely past literate and a second grader could do better than me. Whenever that happens, and my brain starts telling me that it looks terrible, I tell it to shut up and then post something anyway. Of course, I know that this definitely won’t work for a lot of people, since it takes a lot of practice to stop trusting your brain. I can only do it because of other things my brain tells me to do which I don’t listen to.Â
Something my writing teacher told me a while ago (yes I’m one of those kids that had a weird attachment to their English teacher, don’t @ me) was that if someone wrote Sharknado and someone else liked it enough to turn it into a movie, then someone will like your writing. Now, I haven’t seen Sharknado, but it sounds about right.Â
I also find it helpful to read over people’s comments on my writing, which, if you’re starting out, probably doesn’t help. Validation from other people shouldn’t be what gives you your confidence as a writer, but it helps a lot. That’s more about getting attention as a writer, though, and for that it’s important to tag stuff and to talk to other people. Following people, commenting on posts, liking things- that’s all going to help.Â
Writing is hard. And if you’re doing it, you’re already amazing.
Self doubt isn’t going to leave, everyone has to deal with it. The best thing you can do is power on, and remember that someone will like it.Â
hope that helps!Â

Hey you all, how are you today? It's just me trying to interact more with people on here because I'm really bad at talking about myself lol T-T.
But please feel free to talk to me, or ask me anything, literally, I'm always happy to interact and make some new friends. Instead of just posting my writing here, I'll definitely make an effort to talk more because that's how you find like minded people right? (I'm pretty sure that's how writing communities and such are born), so yeah, let's talk:)
This has gone on long enough lol/ thank you for reading through my silly attempts at conversation.
I think this is definitely one of my favourites<3 Thank you for the tag @friiday-thirteenth :)
