Ibrahim Hussein and his wife, Yasmina, were married only three years ago. In January 2023 they welcomed their precious baby Maryam into the world...
Only nine months later, in October 2023, their lives were turned upside down by war and destruction in Gaza, forcing them to flee their beautiful home and to be displaced ever since.
Ibrahim's family has suffered much, even before the war. Ibrahim's father tragically died in 2014 as a result of a traffic accident, leaving Ibrahim responsible as the eldest of 7 siblings. Ibrahim's siblings are Muhammad, Hamza and Zakaria, and Israa, Ghadeer and Hadeel. Sadly, Ibrahim's sister, Ghadeer, and her husband were killed in October, leaving behind their two and a half year old son, Waseem
Waseem is now an orphan, cared for by Ibrahim and his family. Both Waseem and Maryam are infants/toddlers who are now suffering from malnourishment and disease from dirty drinking water. They have no formula, no good food of any kind, no diapers, and they are living in tents under the constant sounds of drones and bombs, and screams.
Yasmina's family members include her father, Abdullah, her mother, Yousra, her brother, Amir, and her sister Samar.
Abdullah and Yousra both need medicine for heart conditions and high blood pressure. Samar has Down's syndrome and needs much assistance with daily living and medical care.
This family has stayed together, hoping and praying every day that they could live to see another day and not see any more of their loved ones killed. They suffer each day from exposure, malnutrition, disease, and the constant threat of being bombed..
Ibrahim pleads for help to save his family from this suffering.
The funds raised by this campaign will help them to buy food, water, medicine, tents for travel when they must flee from bombs. They will also be used to pay for the expensive fees necessary to flee to Egypt.
I met Ibrahim and Yasmina through a social media campaign and project called Pass The Hat that is allied with Operation Olive Branch, a grassroots initiative that has been helping Palestinian families in need of urgent aid. Over several weeks I have gotten to know this family and now consider them some of my dearest friends.
They are in a crisis and every day grows worse for them.
Please donate as much as you can spare to get this family to safety as quickly as possible.
Thank you.

You are probably familiar with @anas-kamal's posts where he explains his people's stance on some issues, most notably the post where he extends love to the LGBT community.
But does he constantly have to work to debunk myths that the racists have perpetuated about his people to be worth your support? Imagine your life being on the line, and having to make a case to the world that it's worth saving, over and over, only to fall on uncaring ears. My heart breaks for him.
Anas is a wonderful human being and one I'm lucky to count as a friend.
With the genocide putting all his dreams and efforts to finish studying medicine on halt, he currently spends his time cheering up the children of Gaza, coming up with activities for them to keep their spirits up and entertain them.
But Anas himself has been suffering a lot in terms of mental health recently. He feels like all his work towards his career is lost. He feels like his life is over. He feels trapped. He is traumatized from witnesssing atrocity after atrocity. He has become sickly and despondent.
I could try to reassure him all day and attempt to keep his spirits up the way he so kindly does to the children of Gaza, but in the end, actions are worth much more than words, and right now the actions desperately needed are sharing his campaign and donating to him so he can continue to survive and to keep up with day to day necessities.

My name is Ahmed Khader, a 29-year-old from Gaza, now living in Belgium. I left in 2019 to build a better life and support my family, but they remain trapped in Gaza, facing constant bombings and danger. On October 7th, the war forced them to flee to a refugee camp, but safety is still out of reach.
I desperately want to help them escape but lack the funds. I’m asking for your support—any donation can make a difference. Please also share this campaign to reach more people who may be able to help.

if you donate one single us dollar to the unrwa, you will have donated more money than you would have by clicking that stupid arab.orb link every day for four and a half years. yes, they do actually donate money to the unrwa, but even with tens of thousands of clicks, most of that money is the baseline $90 they send every quarter. from 2023 quarter 4, half a million clicks turned into $380.57. maths out to six hundreths of one cent per click. just donate to unrwa.
Hello, my name is Muhammad Eid, a father of three children from Gaza. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart, filled with both grief and hope, after my family and I endured an unimaginable tragedy during the ongoing war that has ravaged our city for nearly a year.
On a day that will forever be etched in my memory, our lives were shattered by an airstrike that took away everything we held dear. I lost my beloved daughter, Mais, who was the light of our lives, and I also lost my dear mother, my brother, and his entire family. The bombing didn’t spare anyone; it erased them from the civil registry as if they had never existed.
Our home, a four-story building that held all our memories and dreams, was reduced to rubble. My wife Maysaa, our two surviving children, Osama and Fouad, and I miraculously escaped with our lives, but we were left with severe injuries that required extensive hospital treatment.
I lost my beloved daughter, Mais
I lost my dear mother
I lost my brother, and his entire family
Our home, a four-story building where I lost my loved ones…
We have lost so much in this war, and now we find ourselves displaced and homeless, wandering without a place to call our own. We have also lost our jobs and everything we owned. In these dire circumstances, I am reaching out to you, hoping for your support in helping us rebuild our lives and restore some semblance of normalcy.
Our main goal is to raise €35,000 to help us:
Secure Apartment: The home we lost was worth far more than our campaign goal, but we hope to reach this target to secure a good apartment where my family and I can live.
Survival: Your contributions will help us meet our daily living needs, including food, water, and rent.
Treatment for Fouad: We need to treat my son, who has fractures in his pelvis and requires physical therapy.
Additional Expenses: We need for emergencies and unforeseen additional expenses.
" If the conflict persists and conditions deteriorate further, evacuating from Gaza could become a necessary step."
We are pleading for your help to make this dream a reality. Every donation, even as small as €5, brings us one step closer to safety and a new beginning. Please, help us start over.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity.

With deepest gratitude, Muhammad Eid
