Okay, now, just a little to the left there Mabel, perfect.
You cannot tell me Ford didn’t at some point teach Mabel to shoot that crossbow I mean cmon
I imagine they’re shooting at cans and/or Gnomes. Take your pick
Stupid Venn diagram that's been lurking in the back of my mind for a while now.

i seriously can't believe it's been ten years. i'd love to hear fellow veterans' memories! do you remember where you were when it was confirmed stan had a twin brother? were you a believer in the theory, or were you a skeptic? did you call him stanley? did you think he was dipper and mabel's grandfather? reminisce!!
Dr Pine and his many, many doctorates
Im not ashamed to say that while drawing this I was filled with a completely irrational pride. LOOKIT him! He’s in his little grad cap!!
I have the idea that when the people at Poppy Avenue find out Stan never had a high school graduation, they throw Dr Pine (and Stan) a graduation party, and have them walk across a little puppet stage. Maybe it’s a cold open for a Science Time episode, Dr Pine graduates from west coast tech
Ford has a conniption watching the episode
"He once spent half an hour discussing his moth collection in extensive detail. This is a physics class, the lesson was about momentum." 5/5 I learned a lot about moths that semester.
"He walks into class everyday with two decanters of coffee and still has to occasionally leave in the middle of class to get it refilled. I've heard other teachers complain about their break room never having any coffee. One time he spilled an entire cup on a stack of papers he was grading, looked down at the mess, went silent for a bit, then cleared his throat and said "everyone gets a hundred." 5/5 that was my only hundred in the class.
"He's cool, he allows us to eat snacks in class. As long as it's not toffee peanuts. Can't imagine what he could possibly have against them." 5/5
"He's very picky about commas. I got an A- once solely because of "an irregular use of an oxford comma."" 4/5
"He thoroughly believes in the multiverse and talks about it as though he's lived through it himself. He offhandedly mentioned he knows how to build a quantum destabilizer (some type of gun?) yet doesn't know how to operate a laptop. He might be an alien." 5/5
"His office hours are atrocious I don't think he ever sleeps." 5/5
"He went surprisingly quiet when someone brought up the possibility of perpetual motion in class. You'll be good as long as you don't bring up the first two laws of thermodynamics. Or the puppet from Poppy Avenue. DON'T bring up the puppet from Poppy Avenue. I still haven't heard back from the guy that said Dr. Stanford looked an awful lot like that puppet." 5/5
"He types one key at a time. I'm talking keymashing each letter with his index finger. There was more than one occasion in which we just watched him type for minutes on end, pausing to take time to think through which key he'll press next." 3/5
"I once saw a whiteboard magnet get stuck to the side of his head. He might be a cyborg." 5/5
"He casually mentioned that his first car was taken by a tree, then refused to elaborate and went on with the lesson as normal. I don't think he meant a tree fell on it." 5/5
Hc that Ford gets a job at a local community college as a physics prof after he and Stan are done sailing around the world and fulfills his destiny as the eccentric professor he was always meant to be
And he quickly gains a reputation amongst the stem students as That Professor
I bet his ratemyprof reviews would be insane:
“He didn’t grade any of our homework until the end of the semester, but he brought something called a ‘plaidypus’ to class and let us pet it. Her name was Dorothy. 5/5”
“He constantly ranted about how ‘triangles are the most untrustworthy shape’ whatever that means. Also he doesn’t know how to use the internet. I hated his class. 5/5”
And many more iterations of “this guy is terrible. 5 stars”
I'm a lil unfamiliar with your puppet AU but there is something wholesome to me about how Ford is mad at the puppet and not Stan, or at least acts that way. He doesn't say "Stan stop being an idiot and using that puppet. I know it's you!"
No, it's more like "Stanley, stay out of this. This is between me and that muppet ass felt skin!"
Like??? He's playing along and it's so damn cute!!
I've done a lot of art for it but it's not my au!! The original concept was by @babyblankyerror and it was expanded by @aroace-get-out-of-my-face. (Both their posts on this au are an absolute delight to go through if you'd like to catch up!)
This au is so perfectly wholesome and silly, and it's just completely taken over my brain space (and subsequently what I draw). I mean Ford was so caught up in building a literal hate room for a puppet that he never even summoned Bill in this au, which is just so funny to me
The fact is that Ford genuinely loves Poppy Avenue (the show that Science Time with Dr Pine is on) but it's that damn puppet that gets him. He just cannot STAND Dr Pine, yet holds no resentment towards Stan for it. They're actually pretty close in this au if anything, which makes the dichotomy of Ford's rage even more hilarious.
I mean Ford is obviously aware of the fact that Stan is pupetting (is that a word??) Dr Pine, but his rage is always entirely directed towards the puppet.
And I imagine that when Ford recognizes Stan's voice when he's pupetting (???) other puppets on Poppy Avenue he's all "aw my brother," but as soon as Dr Pine comes on, he's immediately swearing madly at the screen or just barely containing his rage.
My take on the FiddleStan ship dynamic
I like FiddleStan and all but I feel as though if Stanley's met with a problem (liking Fid and not knowing what to do about it) and he can't solve it with his con ablilities he's just going STRAIGHT to violence.
Give me some of that labru shit
I don't know how, when or why Stanley would bring the Dr Pine puppet to the pool but I couldn't just not draw this once the idea came to me
I'm sorry but Ford SHAKING with the same amount of rage as Stanley in this scene is so fucking ridiculous to me I couldnt resist
OHMIGOSH YOU DREW AGNES!! AAAAG THIS IS AMAZING I LOVE YOUR STYLE THANK YOU FOR DRAWINF THEM!!!
