The view from Stark Tower was truly amazing, especially at night. The stars surrounded the moon, kissing the black velvet backdrop of the night sky. The view had come with your recruitment as an Avenger. You had been with the team for a few months now, but the view never got old.
“Can’t sleep?” You turned around, startled. Bucky stood against the door-frame, wearing a thin t-shirt that outlined his muscles. You blushed, but thankfully in the dark you couldn’t tell.
“I was just enjoying the view,” you said, turning back around. “It’s amazing up here.” Bucky chuckled and came to stand by you.
“It’s kind of dark out for a little ray of sunshine like you.”
Ever since you got recruited, the team had called you sunshine or a ray of sunshine because you refused to let other people bring you down. It was now a running joke, and it was Bucky’s favorite. You were somewhat close with Bucky. You often stayed up late together, and you even talked with him after one of his recurring nightmares. Every time you were around him, your heart would beat a little faster, which was seriously annoying.
“Maybe the dark needs a little light to balance it out.” You didn’t take your eyes off the sky, constellations glittering and winking at you. You could tell Bucky was looking at you, but you pretended not to notice.
“So if you’re the sun, what does that make me?” He leaned on the railing next to you, following your gaze up. You turn to look at him, and study his side profile. His jawline had more structure than your life, carved by the hands of Michelangelo himself. The gentle slope of his nose, the way his cheekbone smoothed into the curve of his mouth, the sharp edge of his jaw giving way to a small dimple in his chin; it was all so beautiful. Bucky turned to look at you, and you became very aware that you were only a foot apart.

Words: 1152 Paring: Bucky Barnes x (f)Reader Warnings: swearing, but is that a surprise? Requested by @sexymackstan “May I have an imagine where you’re not an Avenger and its Christmas time and you put up this tree, you are pregnant with twins, but your boyfriend Bucky doesn’t know? You planned to tell him on Christmas Day and he plans to propose to you on that day as well. He has everyone over that day and has a priest come and marry you both on New Years Eve. Make it super fluffy and adorably cute, because bucky with children would be super adorable. lol” A/n: you know at the beginning of this I was all “no Lilly don’t use pronouns make it readable by everyone” but then about halfway through it hit me, “lilly you can use pronouns because the reader gets pregnant.” I also saw Civil War again today- man the feels were big. I found many Easter eggs that I am still freaking out about. Oops.
Masterlist.
Bucky was very enthusiastic about Christmas.
And he was very not okay with having a store bought tree. He even said that even though he’s very much so in the future, he was going to have a real fucking tree.
And even though Bucky used to be The Winter Soldier and worked with the Avengers, he decided you (who is not anything like an Avenger) was worth more.
So you and Bucky went to find a tree. And it was much more stressful than you expected. And it was even more stressful because you were feeling like you were going to throw up every minute in the morning.
But you toughed it out long enough to see Bucky running around like a little kid, and picking out the perfect tree.

A/N: Ahh this part is short! But it’s not the end! Part 14 is still in the works :) Hope you all like it!
Bucky couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe that Dot was standing in front of him, asking him to come back to her. Of course, he felt for her. After all, Dot had left her seemingly-happy relationship with Loki for a second chance with Bucky. He understood that, and if he could take back every single day since the wedding day, he would. He gladly would.
But he had explained everything to her. He had told her that they were both stuck in the past. He had not let himself immediately run to you, instead taking the time to go back to Dot’s house and cordially break things off.

Pairing: Loki Laufeyson x reader
Summary: Your abilities as a half Frost Giant terrify you, but you soon find out you’re not the only freak on Asgard.
A/N: I’ll hopefully get a couple more fics posted today, one will possibly be a second part to I Think We’re Gonna Like It Here. Also, thank you to @slutamores for requesting this, hope you like it :)
(Not my gif)
You stared down at your shaking hands, trying to stop the tears splashing into your open palms. You were a freak, a monster. Those were the only thoughts going through your distraught mind as you glared at your icy blue skin, willing it to fade back to its usual colour. Curiously, you reached out and touched a flower growing nearby. You gasped in horror as it froze and wilted before your eyes. This garden had always been a safe haven for you; when you couldn’t control your powers, you could hide away from the rest of Asgard until you were in control again. Your mother had never seen fit to tell you that you were half Frost Giant, apparently “it didn’t change who you were”. You snorted in disbelief as you recalled her words; in your opinion, if it turned your skin blue and your eyes fiery red, it definitely changed who you were. You froze in fear as you heard the gate to the garden creak open. You prayed that it was just the wind, but there was no wind. You made to pull the sleeves of your dress over your hands to hide your frosty blue complexion, but you were relieved to see that it had faded away. “(Y/N)?” came a familiar voice from round the corner. Taking a deep breath to steady yourself, you got to your feet and walked slowly to where you’d heard the voice calling from. “Loki,” you greeted your friend. “I didn’t know you were coming here.” The raven haired prince’s thin lips formed a frown as he studied your face. “I saw you running from the great hall. I was worried about you.” You twisted your fingers together nervously. “As you can see, I’m fine.” He chuckled quietly. “(Y/N), you can’t lie to me. You can’t beat me at my own game.” He reached out slowly and took your hand in his. You watched in horror, expecting your touch to hurt and freeze his pale skin. He tilted his head to the side curiously. “(Y/N), please tell me what troubles you,” he whispered. “I hate seeing you upset.” At his words, your mask crumbled. Tears welled in your eyes, and you snatched your hand from his grasp. “I’m a freak, a monster,” you whispered. “Look.” You held your palm up to face him, and concentrated with all your power to change your skin. You felt the familiar icy burn as your skin became rough and cold, your eyes stinging with tears as they turned blood red. You couldn’t bear to look at his face and see the fear, the disgust, in his eyes. Your eyes snapped up to lock on your hand as Loki placed his palm flat against yours. Your mouth hung half open in disbelief as you took in the blue swirls and ridges adorning his previously deathly pale skin. Slowly, your eyes moved up to look into his eyes. His ruby red eyes. “You’re not the only freak around here,” he said quietly. You watched, unable to from words, as he linked his fingers with yours carefully, still holding them up for you to see. “See? We’re the same.” You frowned slightly. “But if you’re a Frost Giant, that must mean-,” “I am not a son of Odin,” he finished, smiling sadly. “Unfortunate, isn’t it?” “How do you hide it?” you asked shyly. “I can’t control it, it feels like it controls me.” Pity flickered across his face, and you watched as his skin faded back to ivory. His clear blue eyes never left yours, which were still a glassy red. You felt hot tears welling in them; you didn’t feel so confident when it was just you looking like a monster. “It takes time,” he told you, squeezing your icy hand in his. You expected him to flinch, but his expression didn’t change. “I will help you as best I can.” You nodded, letting out a breath you didn’t realise you’d been holding. “I thought you would hate me,” you half-laughed. You couldn’t help it; you’d spent weeks terrified that he would turn his back on you. “I could never hate you,” Loki said gently. “How could I hate you, when you’ve made me realise I’m not alone?” As he said that, you felt your skin warming, and you nearly cried out in relief as it faded back to its normal tone. You were suddenly aware of the fact that Loki was still holding your hand, and you felt your cheeks burning red. It was just one extreme to the other with you today. “Next time this happens, call for me and I will help you,” he told you as you both moved to sit on a nearby marble bench. You smiled gratefully, running your thumb across his knuckles gently. “Thank you, Loki. For everything,” you said quietly. He lifted his free hand to cup your cheek carefully, turning your face gently to look into his eyes. “You are so beautiful. You are not, and never will be, a freak to me,” he whispered. You chuckled quietly. “Try saying that when my eyes look like blood, and my skin turns to ice.” Loki shook his head. “Your eyes are not blood to me, they are rubies. And do not forget that my skin is just as icy as yours, and you still find no fault in it.” You smiled softly. “I could never find fault in you.” He leaned in slowly, pressing his lips ever so gently to yours. You barely moved your lips against his, letting him lead. As quickly as it had begun, it was over. “You are no freak to me,” Loki whispered again, resting his forehead against yours.
IMAGINE: You were “Peggy” TITLE: There Is No Future Without You (GIRL READER) _
1942 wasn’t your year. Being a female during this time was hard, especially when you worked for the government. You worked for an organization called Strategic Scientific Reserve; SSR for short. To make matters worse you were assigned to work with the military for a new project. Today was the day you met the new recruits and you weren’t the least bit excited.
You walked with a kick in your step. You eyed the men in front of you stopping to stare a few seconds longer at the shortest and scrawniest of the bunch. You couldn’t deny the fact that he was cute. You continued to analyze the group as you spoke loudly, “Gentlemen, I’m Agent L/N. I supervise all operations of this division.”
“Hey, sweet cheeks. What’s a gal like you doing working for the US Army?” One of the men spoke.
You refrained yourself from smirking. You looked at him with a firm look, “What’s your name, soldier?”
He smirked. “Gilmore Hodge, sweetheart.”
“Step forward, Hodge.” He glanced at his friends before doing as told and moved to stand in front of you, “Put you right foot forward.”
“Are we dancing? Cause I got a few moves I know you’ll like.” That was all he needed to say for you to snap. Without a second thought you, you through your fist feeling as it connected with his face.
-
The car had been silent with a hint of awkward. You sat up straight, waiting for you two to make it to the facility. The moment you saw Steve you knew he would be picked. He may not have been the biggest, or the tannest, but he had the heart and will that was needed. You had just hoped he would be the only subject. You didn’t know if you could take watching others be put through the testing.
“I know this neighborhood.” Steve spoke,” I got beat up in that alley. And that parking lot. And behind that diner.” He pointed out each place like it was some kind of achievement, which it kind of was.
You refrained yourself from chuckling, “Did you have something against running away?”
“You start running they’ll never let you stop. You stand up, push back.” The two of you locked eyes, “Can’t say no forever, right?”
“I know a little of what that’s like. To have every door shut in your face.” All those times you tried to be more than just the girl in the RSS you would always be shoved back down. You were never given the chance to show your potential.
“I guess I just don’t know why you’d want to’ join the army if you’re a beautiful dame. Or a beautiful…a woman. An agent, not a dame! You are beautiful, but-”
You smiled softly at his awkwardness, “You have no idea how to talk to a woman, do you?”
“This is the longest conversation I’ve had with one.” He smiled sheepishly, “Women aren’t exactly lining up to dance with a guy they might step on.”
“You must have danced?” You couldn’t believe that anyone would not give such a gentleman a chance. If you weren’t under strict orders to not get involved with anyone at work, then you might have given the blonde a chance.
“Well, asking a woman to dance always seems so terrifying. And the past few years just didn’t seem to matter that much. Figured I’d wait.” He shrugged.
“For what?” You asked in curiosity.
“The right partner.”
-
“Dr. Erskine said that the serum wouldn’t just effect my muscles, it would affect my cells. Create a protective system of regeneration and healing. Which means I can’t get drunk. Did you know that?” Steve poured himself a glass of what you assumed was alcohol while he barely glanced at you as you approached him.
“Your metabolism burns four times faster than the average person. He thought it could be one of the side effects.” You replied knowingly. You took a seat next to him unsure of what to say. You were never good at comforting people. “It wasn’t your fault.”
“Did you read the reports?” Steve asked, his voice devoid of emotion.
“Yes.” You answered.
He finally looked you in the eye, “Then you know that’s not true.”
You placed your hand onto his. “You did everything you could.” You swallowed thickly as your hand began to grip his, “Did you believe in your friend? Did you respect him?” He barely nodded. “Then stop blaming yourself. Allow Barnes the dignity of his choice. He must have thought you were worth it.”
Your words seemed to strike a cord with him as he squeezed your hand, “I’m goin’ after Schmidt. I’m not gonna stop till all of Hydra is dead or captured.”
You smiled in return, “You won’t be alone.”
-
“Wait!” You stopped the taller man. Trying to grip his suit, you pulled him into kiss that nearly stunned him, “Go get him.”
Steve looked at Phillips as a blush covered his pale cheeks. Phillips rolled his eyes, “I’m not kissin’ you!”
Steve looked back you taking the words from the Colonel as a single to leave. He smiled before he ran off. If you had just known that you wouldn’t be seeing him for a very long time.
-
The radio sounded loudly. Whoever was trying to contact you wasn’t very understand with the static, but you knew who it was. You were quick to press the button to talk to him, “Steve, is that you? Are you alright?”
“Y/N! Schmidt’s dead.”
Steve. He was alive. You almost shouted in glee at his voice. Almost.
“What about the plane?” You asked in hope.
“That’s a little bit tougher to explain.” He responded quickly.
You bit your lip. “Give me your coordinates, I’ll find you a safe landing site.”
“There’s not going to be a safe landing.” His next words tore your heart, “But I can try and force it down.”
“I’ll get Howard on the line, he’ll know what to do.” You tried to reason. Your eyes were already glazing over as your gripped the com tighter.
“There’s not enough time. This thing’s moving too fast and it’s heading for New York. I gotta put her in the water.”
“Please, don’t do this.” Your voice wavered, “We have time. We can work it out.”
“Right now I’m in the middle of nowhere. If I wait any longer a lot of people are gonna die. Peggy, this is my choice.”
You sniffled. You were struggling to keep your tears in your eyes, unsure of what to say next.
“Y/N?” His voice came out softer.
“I’m here.”
“I’m gonna need a rain check on that dance.” Steve’s voice broke at the last word. He wasn’t going to come back.
“Alright.” You played long with this fantasy, “A weak, next Saturday, at the Stork Club.”
“You got it.”
“Eight o'clock on the dot. Don’t you dare be late!” A tear escaped your eye, “Okay?”
“You know; I still don’t know how to dance.” He grunted on the other end.
“I’ll show you how.” You smiled sadly, “Just be there.”
“You’ll have the band play somethin’ slow. I’d hate to step on your-” Static.
“Steve?” You asked. No reply. Your lips let out a sob, but your hand never left the button as you spoke, “Remember, don’t be late.”
-
“You’ve been asleep, Cap. For almost seventy years. Are you gonna be okay?”
“Yeah. Yeah. I just- I had a date.” _ DATE: February 1st, 2016

Your POV “Come along (Y/n), this will be fun!” My mother squealed.
“Odin and Frigga have two boys around your age, now that I think about it.” My father followed up. I sighed and rested my hand against my chin, looking out the window of the carriage. “At least pretend to be excited when we get there.”
Putting on my best smile, I giggled. “Of course, father! Why wouldn’t I be excited?”
“That’s the spirit, dear.” The carriage came to an abrupt stop in front of a large castle. The driver helped us out while his assistant grabbed our luggage and carried it to the front door. A large, burly looking man opened the door and shook my fathers hand.
“Faas! Good to see you!” The man boomed. “And Alva, you still look as beautiful as ever.” (They are your parents)
“Odin, wonderful to see you too.” My father smiled. The two had been friends since childhood, and they hoped you and Odins sons would get along as well. A lady dressed in gold appeared behind him.
“Invite them in, Odin.” She said.
“Hello Frigga!” My mother practically sang. The lady ushered you in, and you gathered in the kitchen.
“Of course, you two know (Y/n).” My mom gushed.
“Oh, we haven’t seen you since you were a babe. If you wish, our sons are in the library.” Frigga smiled.
I thanked her and rushed out of the room, my dress flurrying behind me. I roamed the castle, peeking behind all the doors in attempt to find the library. I passed a room, poking my head in to see two boys. One was sitting in a chair reading, while the other was leaning on the back of the chair.
“Come on brother! Let’s spar!” The blond one whined.
“Thor, I’m trying read.” The black haired one replied.
“But Loki-”
“I’ll spar with you.” You interrupted. The two looked at you in surprise before Thor started to laugh.
“You? You are merely a girl!” Thor chuckled. “But if you really want to go, I’ll go easy.”
He led me to a room with matts on the floor and padded walling. Loki counted down, still engrossed in his book.
“Go.” Thor came towards you at full speed, attempting to take you down. I side stepped, taking his arm and flipping him which took him down for the count.
“I never thought a lady could be so… Manly!” Thor exclaimed. “I am Thor, and this is my brother, Loki. What may we call you?”
“(Y/n). (Y/n (l/n).” I laughed. “Say, could you show me back to the library? It was rather big and I’d love to look at what books you have.” Thors face fell, but he reluctantly led the way, Loki trailing behind us.
I grinned excitedly, thanking Thor before running off to find a book. “Aha!” You exclaimed, twenty minutes later, holding a midgardian book called ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ I began to climb down the extremely tall ladder, but it began to wobble, causing me to loose my footing. “oomph!” Was I dead? No, I couldn’t be. So how…? I opened my eyes and saw Loki holding me bridal style.
“You really should be more careful. You’ll get hurt if you keep being so reckless.” I’m sure in that moment, my face would put a tomato to shame.
“Thanks. Can you, uh, put me down now?” He set me down on the ground gently before going on his way. I found a chair in the room, sitting on it and beginning my book.
“Miss, dinner will be served soon. You’ve been requested by the sons of the household.” I looked up from my book at the maid.
“Of course. Would you mind showing me the way?” I asked.
“Not at all.”
Third person POV
That evening you sat under the covers on the guest bed, reading a book about constellations and midgard with a flash light. A knock on your door could be heard, but you were so caught up in the information that you didn’t hear it. The door creaked open, and a grumpy looking Loki walked in.
“I can see your light from across the hall, would you please go to bed?” He seethed.
You peeked out from under the covers and shone your light on him. “Sorry, but this book is really good!” He walked over and threw back the covers to reveal you and your book.
“You like Midgard?”
“Yes, it fascinates me! The constellations, their methods of buildings. Oh, my favorite era was the 1950’s!” You began to explain.
“Well one day, I’m gonna rule Midgard.” He grinned. “If you want, I’ll let you help me take over.”
“But we barely even know each other!”
“So? I’ll need a queen.”
You stared up at him and laughed. “Yeah, alright!”
The next day, you wandered down to the library with the large book, having agreed to meet Loki there last night. You heard girlish voices and a few deep chuckles coming from inside.
“Oh Thor, you’re so smart! Could you maybe help me with my homework?”
“Yes, me too?” Two girls sat on either side of Thor, pressing their cleavage up against him and looking ‘oh so lost.’ Loki sat across from them, back to you.
“Of course!” Laughed the blond. “I was always taught it is only polite to help ladies.”
You snorted and quietly walked behind Loki, throwing your arms around him.
“Hi Loki! Whatcha reading?”
“Hello princess (Y/n). It’s not of importance.” He shielded his book. You shrugged it off and sat down next to him and took out your book. The girls continued to press themselves onto Thor, and you could practically feel Loki’s annoyance of his brother getting all their attention.
“Loki, how do you say this?” You feigned stupidity. He raised a brow at you, but complied all the same.
“Eccentricity.”
“Right.” You said, bringing a finger to your lip. “And that means…”
“The measure of how an object’s orbit differs from a perfect circle. Eccentricity defines the shape of an object’s orbit.” He described. The girls eyes were now on him, and they whispered to one another. They got up from their current spots and shoved your seat away, sitting next to the black haired god.
“Wow Loki, you’re so smart!” Exclaimed one
“Yes, and handsome, too.” Said the other seductively. The boy began to bask in their attention, now ignoring you.
Looks like your plan worked too well.
Smiling sadly, you got up from the table and left the library, strolling through the gardens and occasionally meeting up with Thor throughout the rest of the day.
That night you slept soundly in your bed. That is, till someone shook you awake.
“What?” You groaned.
“Sh. I need you to come with me.” Loki whispered.
“Wh-”
“Just do it!” You were taken aback, but followed him all the same. He led you through the gardens into an open field where he sat down with a big book.
After a moment, you joined him in the wet grass.
“You said you liked stars, right? Well, that’s the constellation Orion, and that bright orange star is beetle juice. The one shaped like a pot is the Little Dipper, and if you look a little farther, you can see the Big Dipper.” He explained, pointing to each.
“Where’d you learn all this?” You asked, fascinated.
“The book I was reading earlier. Speaking of which, this is for you.” He slid you a large, leather bound book with gold lettering. “It’s all about Midgard and heavenly bodies. Thought you might like it.”
“Thanks!” He stiffened when you hugged him.
“You are very welcome.”
The two of you say like that for hours until you were falling asleep. He picked you up and carried you back to the castle, where he found two guards and his parents standing there.
“If you are going to blame someone, I’ll take it. I forced her out with me.” He explained sturdily. His parents sighed and Odin took the small sleeping girl back to her room. Frigga led Loki back to his.
Her words said, “We aren’t angry,”
But her face said “You’ve disappointed me.”
The boy didn’t sleep easily that night, knowing he was in trouble, and that he may have gotten his friend in trouble as well.
When he woke up the next morning, he found (Y/n) crying in the dining room as her parents punished her for her actions. He decided in order to no longer get her into trouble, he would keep away.
(Y/n) didn’t understand why he stopped talking to her out of the blue, but she did know that when she went home three days later, she was upset when he didn’t see her off.
“He didn’t even say goodbye!” She cried to her mother that evening, clutching her dress. The book he gave her sat on her bedside table, pages already worn from how many times she thumbed through it.
Her mother left the room not too long after, and the girl was alone once again, or so she thought.
“I’m sorry I didn’t see you off. I thought you would be angry with me for getting you in trouble.”
The (h/c) haired girl looked up. “L-Loki?” She sniffed.
“Only a projection, but yes, it’s me.”
(Y/n) began to laugh. “You idiot! Getting in trouble is worth it when you have fun.” She explained.
He threw her a confused look before grinning. “So we can still be friends?”
“Of course! My family and I will be visiting again soon. Could you tell me more about Midgard?” You pleaded.
Loki gave a soft smile. “If you wish, princess.”
Summary:You, Steve and Natasha reach your old military base on New Jersey and someone from your past returns
Genre: Angst, Some fluff
Fandom: Captain America, Marvel
Disclaimer: Why do I even put a Disclaimer if say the same things??
A/N: Oh god I have a test in Ancient Greek tommorow.. Wish me luck…
__________________________________________
You were outside of the base while memories of you, Steve, Bucky, Peggy and Howard came to your mind. How you and Steve used to run before the serum and colonel Philips screaming at you both for being late. Steve had the same thoughts too. But he didn’t think of chester yelling, but you. How every time you were sparkling and looked beautiful, your kindness and heart of gold. That’s the woman he fell for. And now, she’s his. Natasha didn’t know what to say. Seeing your faces was enough for her to understand what you were feeling right now.
“Wait, that building. Steve, I think it’s not in the right place..” He nodded and broke the lock pushing the door open. Many old computers were there. In the wall hung pictures of your friends in the army. You moved next to a library that seemed weird to all of you. “If you’re already in a secret base, why do you hide the elevator?” He said and you helped him push open the leaves of the library.
The secret floor had some some computers. The same as the others from upstairs but bigger. In the middle, next to the bigger computer, a new-technology usb port made Natasha get more interested. She plugged the flash drive into the port. The screen turned on and it wrote a message “Initiate system?”
“Yes” Natasha typed. The camera started moving and analyzing your faces. It stopped at Steve.
“Steven Grant Rogers, born 1918. Y/N Barnes, born 1918. Natalia Romanoff, born 1984.” The man in the computer had a very familiar voice.
“Zola.” You and Steve exchanged a look.
“You know that thing?”
“Before Captain Rogers and future mrs. Rogers here didn’t send me to jail I was a human like you madam. In 1972 I got diagnosed and science couldn’t save my body but, my mind was worth saving under two hundred thousand feet of data banks. And now, you’re standing on my brain. ” The machine said and the picture of Arnim Zola appeared.
“What the-?” You said and looked to the ground taking some steps closer to Steve. “But, HYDRA died with the red skull. How can it be possible to exist?”
“Cut off one head two more shall take it’s place” Steve rolled his eyes at the usual Hydra’s moto.
“Prove it” Natasha commanded and he showed a display of the redskull, some battles of the hollowing commandos, Captain America and you, Mrs. America. Then it showed SHIELD’s beginning. He showed how HYDRA killed Howard and Maria Stark and made it to look like a car accident.
“We won, Captain Rogers and Barnes, your deaths amounts to the same as your life. Zero sums.“ Steve clenched his fist and punched the screen
“What does the flash drive contains?” Natasha questioned your old enemy.
“Project insight requirs insight so I wrote an algorithm. “
” What does it do?“
“Unfortunately, you shall be too dead to hear it.” The doors behind you started closing and you threw your shield but it didn’t close.
“Guys, a missile is on the way..” Natasha said.
“Who fired it?”
“Shield” You had only thirty seconds. Steve grabbed you by your waist and pulled the three of you in a hole, using your shields to protect the three of you. You were screaming from the pain and soon enough, everything around you turned black. Steve got away the heavy rocks from you and Natasha and pulled you to the surface.
“Y/N?Baby, are you alright?” You slowly opened your eyes. “Oh my god I was so scared.” You could see the worry in his eyes.
“I’m fine… Did you got hurt? Natasha?” He nodded and picked Natasha up.
“She is breathing luckily. We have to find a safe place..” As you made sure that noone else was there you walked to the woods.
“I don’t get it? What did Zola meant with that algorithm?”
“I’m not sure, I guess we’ll find out. You sure that you’re alright? Babe you look a bit pale..”
“I’m fine, Stevie. Don’t worry about me.” The truth is, you were scared. Not scared about getting yourself hurt or anything.. You were scared what if Steve or Natasha could get hurt or you can’t save the earth again. But also, you were worried about something else.. Something inside of you.. “I’m not in fire, so yeah. I’m fine.” He smiled to you kissed your cheek. Natasha started opening her eyes. “Hey sleeping beauty. Are you ok?” She nodded and stood on her feet.
“Where are we going?”
“At a friend’s” Five minutes later the three of you reached an apartment not far from the city center. Steve knocked the door and that guy that Steve was chatting with when he was jogging opened the door. “We’re sorry we just needed a place. Everybody is trying to kill us.”
“Not everyone” Sam said and offered you to come in. His house wasn’t big enough. He had a small living room detached with the cuisine and two small bedrooms. Each one had it’s own bathroom. It was a joyful place though. The windows were big enough and plenty of light was entering the home and made you feel warmth. After you showered you moved to the kitchen and sat next to Steve.
“We’re sorry if we’re disturbing you Sam, but shield is after us.” You said with an apologetic and sad look on your face but Sam smiled at you to reassure you.
“Don’t worry, It’s nice I have Captain America, Mrs. America and Black Widow in my apartment. It’ll be my pleasure to help you guys.” You gave him a side-smile. “But seriously now, what happened with them?”
“Hydra was growing into SHIELD this hole years. They killed Nick Fury and they are hunting us. You said you were a pilot right?“
“Well not exactly..” He handed Steve a folder with some pictures and articles. Sam Wilson wasn’t a simple pilot. He had a suit with wings. The name was Falcon.
“We can’t ask you to do that..”
“Dude, Mrs and Captain America wants my help I’d be more than happy to help them “ He smiled and the four of you headed out to the door.
Flash foward to the bridge’s incidents
You were in the backseats next to Sitwell. You were moving him to a secret location so he can tell you more about Hydra. Sam was driving and Steve was next to him, sometimes turning his head to you, to see if you’re alright. You nearly screamed when an arm, metal arm popped into the car, dragging Sitwell out and throwing him off the bridge. Natasha grabbed her gun and shooted. The winter soldier stole Sam’s steering wheel and he lost car’s control.
You grabbed Natasha and kicked the door with your shield dragging her out with you. Steve did the same with Sam. Three black cars appeared and Hydra men came out. The winter soldier shot a rocket and Steve pushed you so it could hit his shield. He fell of the bridge. You stopped time to kill some of the men but it was late to take the winter soldier down. He came towards you and you kicked his knee, and backflipped so he couldn’t get any closer. You fought some minutes before he kicked and punched you causing to fell off the bridge too, causing you to fell with your back. “Shit” you mumbled as you noticed the pool of blood around you. With all your strength you stood up and grabbed the black Thompson gun next to the dead agent. You fired and killed the man that tried to shoot at Steve. He ran to you when he noticed the pool of blood which matched your back.
“Y/N! Are you alright baby? Please tell me that you’re alright.” You shook your head and he gave you a quick hug. “Thank God.” You wanted that moment to last longer but you noticed Nat fighting with the winter soldier, but getting shot. He was ready to kill her but you and Steve joined the fight before he could.
After some minutes of constantly punching, kicking Steve threw a kick on his face causing the mask to slip. The man stood there looking at you. You looked at him in shock, not beliving who he was. “Bucky?” Steve asked but he remained silent for some seconds.
“Who the hell is Bucky?” Bucky said and Sam caused an explosion which Bucky found a good feint and left. You looked at the ground. Brock Rumlow and his team came, pointing guns at all of you.
“Fell on your knees, hands up!” He screamed as his men pushed the gun on your temple. “Not here!” He yell when he saw the helicopter on the sky. They locked you, Steve, Natasha and Sam to the back of one of their cells with two Hydra agents to look after you.
“It’s all my fault..” You whispered as hot tears fell down your face. “I couldn’t save him and they did that to him.”
“Sweetheart it’s not your fault. We talked about this many times before. So please don’t blame yourself for something you’re not culpable of.“ You shook your head.
“Y/N, I wasn’t there when he fell, but I know that’s not your fault.” Natasha tried to reassure you but then you noted the blood on her shoulder.
“She needs some medic care. She lost much blood, she will die in here if we don’t do anything.” The agent on the door pulled two electrical sticks of her suit. She sticked them to the man next to her and kicked him at his face.
“This thing was squeezing my brain..” Maria said as she pulled the helmet out. “Who the hell is this guy?”

You were in the kitchen of the Stark Tower enjoying the tea Wanda just made for you and Natasha. In the Avengers, these two women were your favorite people. They were your best friends even though the age difference was a little bit much. You guys were having your usual conversation you always have in the mornings. Wanda was asking if Natasha would join to her training today and you were waiting for Natasha’s answer because you also needed a training today. You were avoiding your trainings with Natasha for two weeks now because you just couldn’t find the motivation. You were so confused and you couldn’t think anything else but him. Who could blame you? He was adorable, he was kind and he was intelligent. You haven’t met a guy like him before. You technically haven’t met a guy properly before because you were really afraid to be close with someone, even starting a conversation with them was a challenge for you. That’s why you couldn’t find the motivation to train with Natasha for weeks, you were really angry at yourself that you couldn’t even just try to be friends with him. Also, you were really upset because Peter wasn’t talking to you either. You were probably the only people who hadn’t talked for once in the tower. You heard someone saying your name then you realized Natasha was asking if you would like to come to the training this afternoon with Wanda. You said “Yeah sure.” Then Wanda asked :
“Hey are you okay? You seemed like you were thinking about something that makes you upset?”
“What? I’m fine.” You tried to smile but you wanted to tell Wanda and Natasha everything. You were sure that they would find a solution but you just couldn’t.
Natasha raised her eyebrow and said : “ You know you can’t fool us Y/N right? We have known you for so long and I can’t stand you being sad. You have been avoiding me for weeks and you barely talk to us in our regular morning meetings. Just please tell us we want to help you.”
Wanda nodded: “She is absolutely right. Now what’s bothering your beautiful mind?”
You gulped: “Well. I have never talked to you guys about something like this. I don’t know how or where to start. You know how I am. I can’t easily express what I feel or think.”
They stared at you for a second then Wanda smiled: “O
I think I have a guess.”
You hoped she was right because you just couldn’t talk about Peter to anyone. It was really a secret for you.
“It’s about the spider-boy.”
Natasha started laughing and Wanda and you were really confused why she was laughing. You both looked at her waiting for an answer. She finally said : “Oh it’s really about the spider-boy? Oh my god Y/N, why didn’t you tell us, you two would have been dating for like months now. I actually never realized because I’m pretty sure you guys talked for once?”
“We never did” you smiled. You were relieved, you knew your best friends would solve your problem immediately.
“Why don’t I ask him to train with us this afternoon? Then you guys would pair up and finally talk?” said Wanda smiling at you. At first you were going to refuse it because it really scared you to talk to him. But then you realized you needed to break your walls and finally reach what makes you happy. You were sure this time it was Peter.
—-
You were nervously waiting in the training room with Natasha, who already started her training. You were thinking about what you should say to him but everything that came to your mind suddenly left you when you heard Peter’s voice: “Hi Y/N!” You turned around and saw him smiling at you. At first you couldn’t remember what you were supposed to say when you only needed to say “Hi”. Instead you said “Oh my god you talked to me!” You didn’t realize what you just said until Peter said : “Yeah you are right we never really talked it’s pretty crazy right?”
“Right” you started sweating not knowing what to do. Awkward silence kept going for three minutes until Peter said: “You know what, let’s go and have lunch I’m starving and that would be a better way to get to know each other. Unless you greet yourself to people by punching and kicking them.” He laughed. You smiled: “Why not.”
—
That lunch was the best decision of your life. You finally had a proper conversation with Peter and it actually made you love him more. It had been three months since that lunch and you guys were best friends right now. You realized Peter was just like you. He was shy and he had the same difficulities you had. That why it took so long for you two to become friends.
“You know what I think when I look at you and Peter? Just make out already! You guys are driving me crazy. That poor boy has been trying to kiss you for you so long.”
You turned around and saw Natasha reading a book in the couch behind you.
“What* He just likes me as a friend Natasha everyone knows that. I don’t think he would want to ‘make out’ with me, I have never even kissed someone you know?”
“So Peter will be the first. Tonight.”
“Nat are you serious? How? What are you going to do, push him towards me and make my first kiss an accident?” You laughed.
“You know Tony’s going to have a party tonight. Obviously here. Just ask him then since this is a special occasion I’m sure he will FINALLY make the move.” You thought Natasha wasn’t being serious. But the things she said made you happy and your reminded yourself, again, you were going to break your walls.
—
Music was too loud. You saw Tony’s friends, the Avengers and their friends too. It was more crowded than it usually is in Tony’s parties. You were really nervous but you kept reminding yourself you can’t keep your hopes high eventually you will be the one that is upset if nothing happens. Peter was already ten minutes late and you were just going to give up when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned around smiling but then you saw it wasn’t Peter. It was one of the Wanda’s friends but he seemed to be close to your age. You talked to him few times before the party.
“Hi Y/N.”
“Hello.”
“I saw you were alone and I was wondering if you could dance with me. I barely know the people here and I know you so?”
“Sure, why not?” You gave up on Peter. You knew he wasn’t going to come so you told yourself I won’t make myself upset this time.
—
You were having so much fun dancing with Harry, talking to him. It had been an hour and you realized the crowd was bigger. You barely could see the people you know. Just when you were going to tell Harry what happened between you and Peter and thank him for being your company tonight he grabbed your waste and pulled you closer to himself. You were a bit shocked but you just smiled. You attempted to hug him. He pushed your hands and tried to kiss you. Then you heard a familiar voice saying : “Y/N?”
You turned around and saw Peter : “Hey.” You just looked at him, angry.
“I can’t believe this Y/N I have been waiting for you an hour.”
“What? I never saw you I thought you weren’t coming then Harry asked if we could dance and I said okay.”
“I-I was actually going to be the one who kisses you tonight but that’s okay you seem happy with him.” He was broken. He stormed off the room and you were shocked.
—
“Peter stop!” you were following him for so long you ran out of breath.
“What do you want?” He asked with a blank face.
“I’m sorry I thought you weren’t going to come.”
“I did. Y/N I don’t deserve you. I made you wait for only a kiss for three months. I’m sorry I’m not like Harry or the other guys.”
“Pet-“
“Never mind. I can’t do this anymore.” Just when you thought he was going to leave, he pinned you against the wall behind and started kissing you. It was actually a very rough kiss but you enjoyed it. He stopped for a second and whispered : “I’m better than him.”
