When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.
After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.
My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
Yep.
I made a character design within a Picrew that I liked so much that I needed to draw. Said drawing is above.
Of course I made some changes between the design within the Picrew and the final drawing. It was fun.
I'll link the Picrew https://picrew.me/en/image_maker/2400178
Also, here's the design within the Picrew in case you didn't see my other post where I shared it.
What do you all think of the design and the final drawing? Feel free to let me know.
Donald has now become one of my favorite characters because of this. I would say I'll be making fanart, but I may procrastinate. So I may just try. Trying sounds like less pressure on myself and I might as well just make fanart without any pressure. Gotta be nice to yourself, ya know? I don't really know exactly what I'm talking about. While my followers wait for possible fanart, I have a comic I made that I'm gonna post soon. It's not very long, but it's a vibe.
Edit. I did it. I made Donald Duck fanart. It may be the first time I've drawn Donald as far as I can remember.
:D
I got 1 task done today. I emptied the big trash can in my bedroom. That's one less fork to deal with.
I have severe executive dysfunction. I've been dealing with it by having myself do one small task a day. So far it's helped a lot. By doing it this way my brain doesn't freak out trying to tackle everything at once.
I got my inspiration for it from this Donald Duck comic:

Anyone can sea how cool this is.
I am on my way to being the best auntie ever or the worst sister-in-law that ever lived. Possibly both.
I am making my 2-year-old niece a plushy for her birthday. She is very hands-on baby and wants to help with everything and be involved in the center of attention. A few weeks after her birthday everyone is going dipnetting. She is two and can not help with dip netting or do anything but watch.
So I am making her a toy salmon. And I am making it so she can filet it. It has guts. It has bones. It is all one piece and child friendly, and I am debating using embedded magnets or velcro to hold the filets on.
She has a kitchen set with a little wooden knife at her grandparents house, who have already heard about this and think its a great idea. We are gonna teach this kid to clean and process fish. She already knows where meat comes from and she will want to get in and do what everyone else is doing which she can not do because the fish are only slightly smaller than she is.
So, salmon plushy
This has warmed my heart. Blast this cute art!!!!
Let's get cozy, friend.

Would anybody be interested if I started doing art commissions? Iβm considering using PayPal, though Iβve heard that sites like stripe are better for digital art commissions. Thanks for reading!
