To Iris Wilson: You're so talented and I'm so impressed at all the things you can do at such a young age! How did you learn all of it?
Dearest Trace,
Aww, you are so very sweet! I know that most children my age haven't achieved such things as I have, and it is so nice of you to compliment me like that!
As for how I learned it...
My Papa, of course! He has so many books simply laying around, and when he leaves on a case I read them all. He tells me about his deductions too sometimes, and I think I've learned his system better than he has. And, of course, there's experimentation... Maybe I'll show you my journals someday!
Signed, Iris Wilson
Greetings Klimt,
What do you like about cats?
Best,
Fondest greetings,
I have quite a fondness for dogs, of course, and though the cats I've known have been few and far between, I do quite love the way they act. They are incredibly solitary and demanding creatures, and therefore, when they choose to spend time with you, you know you have put in a great deal of trust in them, and they have done the same with you.
Cats express their affection simply through choosing to be with you, even if they are not paying attention to you, you both know the cat is there. Yes, sometimes they will press up against you and make a contented noise, or paw at you, or ask for your attention, but so often it feels good to know that the cat is comforted simply by your being there.
I do quite adore that about them.
With love, Klimt van Zieks

Thoughts on former queen Elizabeth’s passing?
Anonymous,
I weep for the life that has passed. Such a beautiful age of art, of philosophy, of theatre--the patron saint of the bard himself!! While it has been hundreds of years since our late leader Elizabeth, her impact will be felt for centuries to come, I know.
Death comes to us all, and while such a thought may be dreadful to some, he has wise words to share on such a subject, as with all others... She has gone to the undiscovered country, from whose bourn no traveler returns. To die, to sleep, no more. To sleep, perchance to dream-- and so on and so forth.
With slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
William Petenshy
Lord van Zieks, do you do ballet?
-⚙️
To ⚙️,
I am rather surprised that you were able to pick up on such a trait of mine. It does depend upon how you define 'doing' ballet. My father would never let a son of his take any sort of lessons in something like ballet. It was below us, something a man should not be able to do.
However, every now and then, I would walk in on my brother dancing. His poses were graceful and difficult, showing off the power in his legs. He told me that it was ballet, though he never did tell me how he learned it.
It was something we bonded over. He showed me how to warm up for such dances, do careful stretches, how to perform leaps and lifts and other such things.
I do have an idea how he learned, but... that's long passed. Perhaps I can hire a private tutor for these lessons. I think it would be quite fun.
Lord Barok van Zieks
William Shamspeare,
If you were a type of equine what kind would you be? Unicorn? Pegasus? Regular horse but with a flamboyant color scheme perhaps?
Best wishes
Dearest anon,
I haven't the faintest idea how you learned of my proclivity for horses. Majestic creatures, are they not? Whether tis nobler to be the beast that trots and whinnies in outreaching forests, or to grow wings through a seabound deity and by opposing use them.
I know that I am not a fan of the work horse. Though they have their place, I would not want to be used in such a way. I have always had a connection with the racehorse, the ones with an attitude, a prance in their step and a preference for various foods. As for colour schemes, I don't know how flambouyant a horse could be. Though, their racing uniforms can be quite fancy.
Signed,
William Shamspeare
Aha!
My dear fellow, it seems you have sent me an amateur puzzle. Fortunately for you, I am an amateur puzzle master, and therefore puzzed over this for about a minute.
It is clear that the first letter of every word is what is important, though I also wanted to see if there were any sort of deeper meaning to the words themselves. While there is not much in the beginning, there were a few words that caught my attention, those being 'key ask request mine attorney'.
As this is coming from an attorney, I am gathering that you are in some sort of deep trouble. Last not me, be careful, Karma. Or, perhaps, Last not me, be careful karma. Or, last, not me, be careful, karma. Or, last, not, m-you get my point.
What I gather, no matter what, is that we all must be quite careful.
Yours, Sherlock Holmes
Dear Mr Stronghart,
I do not care much for my parents since I was abandoned to an orphanage at a young age, and I don't normally use that surname but it is the only one I know of, as for if Mr Van zieks know about me....I don't think he does...

To T.V.Z.,
Ah, such a sad fate he has bestowed upon you. I apologize for his foul treatment of you in this way, and I am not surprised that a woman who had a child by this married man would not want such a source of shame hanging over her head. It is impressive that you have managed to hone such skills in knifework despite your poor upbringing. You are clearly stronger than I had expected.
Signed, Mael Stronghart.

Thoughts on Rosie?
Anon,
I am afraid I don't quite know who you are referring to. Is it a woman? A child? An animal? Simply the flower in general? Either way, I seem always a bit calmed by roses. The concept of such a beautiful flower being protected by thorns, especially ones that will not affect me due to the metal nature of my hand...
I cannot help to relate to such a thing. They inspire me. I cannot explain as to why.

(squints at the masked disciple) who do i know this man
Ribbonroad.
This man, this thing, is a husk of myself. I am no longer the masked disciple, a name I despise as it implies I had anything to learn from either Vortex or van Zieks. I despise the both of them, and this unwilling servant of the two of them is not someone I want to associate with.

Dear Kazuma
Never gonna give you up
Dear anon,
I appreciate the sentiment, though I am confused as to what you could mean by such a thing. Give me up to what?

Benjamin, what is the nicest thing barok has ever done for you?
Dearest Anon,
I must admit, it's rather hard to figure out an answer to that question. Not only have we had a lot of happy memories together, I also often have trouble remembering what's happened in recent times. People have joked that I have the memory of an ant... Hah...
I suppose that may be the nicest thing he's ever done. I am a strange man. Everyone who meets me knows that I am rather eccentric. Barok does the simple task of not poking fun at me. He accepts me as I am, and he is my truest friend.
I also appreciate his generous offer to let me live with him, rather than having to pay for lodging now that I have chosen to return to London. I will always be grateful for such things he does for me.
