Does anyone else view their regression/dreaming as more of an autistic trait than anything else?

I don't even know if I should be saying it's a trait?

For me it feels like I'm unmasking and even when I'm not regressed I still do/enjoy childlike things.

I wouldn't say I have trauma nor that my regression stems from trauma. My regression just feels like a vulnerable, soft headspace where I can just unwind and unmask. I honestly just didn't grow out of things -like toys and playing- and started masking (I especially noticed it when I was 10) to fit in with my peers who were growing out of things. I didn't want to be left behind and friendless.

He loves when you help him with experiments

Like when you have an idea for an experiment he'll put aside all his beakers and other stuff to immediately help you with your idea

Definitely the kind of papa that struggles to show love in the typical ways

He won't be very good at like baby talk and cuddling but he'll read you books and tell you when you did good

He struggles with human connection so he treats it more like a science

He'll keep detailed notes on things like your favorite foods and toys

If one of your toys ever breaks he'll immediately fix it without you even having to ask

He was so worried you'd be scared of him at first. He takes a lot of care to hide as much of his skin as possible

He was also so worried about giving you forehead kisses at first since he lost his lips but you love them even if they feel different

I do think he has some strict boundaries around his late daughter

He never told you about her

One time you found her old stuff and started playing with it and he got very cold and asked you stop touching her things

loves teaching you about the sciences and the math. shows you almost everything he learns

is willing to do anything for you, tries his hardest to keep you safe from the horrors of the under city, tries to shield you from his dirty work and is connections to silco

likes to be called ' dad ' , ' papa ' , and ' sir ' or ' mister '

you remind him a lot of his daughter which is why he becomes so attached to you and agrees to be your caregiver

is also a teacher caregiver

doesn't have a lot of time to play usually, but tries to be around when he's not focused on work, especially at night when he puts you down for bed

is better with bigger kids than the smaller ones, kinda awkward with newborn regressors, best with teen regressors

likes to call you ' little one ' , ' dearest ' , ' precious ' and ' my pupil '

I wants one of des plates sooooo bad

I wish I had a caregiver that made sure I felt included in groups. That held me and rubbed my hand when I'm to tired to talk to remind me that they're still thinking of me and appreciating that I'm there.

Who makes a point to turn to me and respond if I try to say something but no one else listens. Who will ask me direct questions if I want to talk but I'm struggling to come up with something to say.

A caregiver that'll loudly say bye to me when I'm leaving so everyone notices and waves bye too

A caregiver that'll stand up for my needs when everyone else is ignoring them.

A caregiver that'll talk about me even when I'm not there, about how much they appreciate me and enjoy being around me

I feel like there's not enough love for age regressors that love yucky things

tw: a lot of yucky stuff (bathroom bodily functions, v*mit, blood etc)

I just half burped half coughed up this liquid and I was curious about what it was so i spit it into a cup and I smelt sooooo icky I thought I was puke. that was sooooo cool!!!!!

and a few weeks ago I had a nose bleed and I collected it all in a cup and then I added hydrogen peroxide and it went all foamy and was sooooo cool

And also periods. One time when I was a tween I got so mad at my sister I tied together a bunch of tampons and threw them into her room

that was mean and I feel bad about it now

but yucky things are sooo cool our bodily functions are sooo cool and all the little things they give us from those functions are so fun

They're also called tardigrades or moss piglets and they're water animals that live ALL OVER the world and can survive extreme conditions like extreme temperatures, extreme pressures (both high and low), air deprivation, radiation, dehydration, and starvation and have survived being in OUTER SPACE

Sometimes I get worried I'll never be good enough to deserve a caregiver. I feel like caregiving is an inherently unequal thing of me letting someone see my weakest side where I can't produce anything to be good enough for them and why would anyone want to support me in that way if I'm not doing something for them in return.

Your caregiver supporting of you after people were harassing/bullying you online:

⭐ After it first happens they immediately delete whatever app you're being harassed on off your phone

⭐If you're done with that app they'll delete your account

⭐If you want to keep your account they'll make sure to take off any personal information or pictures of you you put up on that account so you can feel safe knowing no one can track you down and hurt you more

⭐They come up with a bunch of other activities for you to do instead of using that app

⭐They'd show you a bunch of episodes about bullying from kids shows to make you feel less alone

⭐They'd reassure you that your feelings are valid and that online bullying is real bullying

⭐They make sure to tell you it wasn't your fault and that you didn't deserve that

⭐"but-but what if I was being a bad kid", "bubba, nothing you could do online would ever justify people threatening to hurt you"

⭐Would promise you that if anyone ever tried to follow through on a threat that they'd protect you

⭐They'd talk to you about what it would mean for you to get justice against the people harassing you

⭐If it would be a good idea to take evidence of people who sent you death threats and try to have their account banned or try to track down their school/job and show them the evidence

⭐Together you decided that it would be best for your mental health if you just deleted any messages and blocked them

⭐After a while if you wanted to go back to using that app they'd go through the notifications and block anyone who was harassing you and show you all the messages people sent saying they were sorry you were being treated that way

⭐You'd have your head in their lap, holding onto your favourite stuffie for comfort and they'd be scrolling on your phone

⭐"Are there a lot of them?", "That doesn't matter Bubba. You're safe and you have me here to protect you", "...okay"

⭐Every so often they'd stop and show you a kind message from someone and each time you'd feel just a little bit safer

⭐They'd respond to those messages for you

⭐If you weren't out as a regressor on that account they'd translate your little-talk about how you had big feelings but their messages were like kisses on your boo-boos to more adult sounding thank-yous
