 so the other day madison posted on her story, asking people to stop messaging the girls in hopes of reaching her, and that she’ll do better at looking/responding to dms

guys this literally disgusted me. the fact that SHE NEEDED TO PUBLICLY SAY THAT !!!!! 

first of all, NO ONE should be messaging jadah, carolynn, tori, savannah, etc etc, JUST FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF TALKING/ASKING ABOUT MADI !!! all these women are their own individual person, who do not deserve to feel used, and/or unappreciated. if you are going to message ANY of these girls, it should only be to talk to THEM about THEM ! i can not even begin to imagine what they must feel, when they think  that maybe a fan is messaging them to talk to THEM, and it turns out to be someone asking about their friend. and this isn’t just about madison, it’s also when people dm carolynn about jeremy. put yourself in their shoes, and try to imagine what it’s like to work equally as hard on a project, just to have people only reach out to you to talk/ask about your partners….it’s not okay ! just message the person directly if you wanna say something, it’s that simple. 

second, madison has no obligation to look, respond, or acknowledge any dms from us. and the fact that she felt like she needed to say she was “going to do better” just shows that we as a fandom need to do better. and before someone says ‘well it would be rude…’ or any other crap like that, think of it like this, when you have requests in your dms, from STRANGERS  do you give them the time of day ? do you feel the need to respond ? so why would it be different for her ? just because she has a large fan base ? it’s not, because at the end of the day, she is a normal 16 year old girl. i don’t want to say it’s a privilege of ours, that she, and the rest of the cast, respond to dms, but i honestly can’t think of another word to describe it. she literally doesn’t even have to look at anyone’s messages, yet she does, and sometimes she responds to them, and if this continues, she may just stop. 

as a fandom we need to do better. i think people forget, that madison, and the rest of the cast are regular people. we’re lucky to be a part of a fandom where the celebrities interact so much with their fans, but if this behavior continues, i truly believe so will the interactions. 

i love all of you guys, and i know most of the people who have done this really never meant any harm, but we all need to change.

Still not over the fact that even though Clint Barton is the grumpy Avenger who just wants to be left alone, he’s also the most approachable Avenger who people love being around. Reasoning:

1) Even though Clint tried to kill Natasha Romanoff, not only did they make up, they became best friends. Natasha even taught Clint her secret whistle.  

2) He gave Wanda Maximoff the courage to fight back against Ultron. 

3) Even though their interactions were short, you can tell that Pietro Maximoff liked messing around with Clint. They could’ve had an uncle-nephew type relationship.

4) It’s heavily implied that Scott Lang became best bros with Clint. I mean, Scott gave Clint access to Pym technology, he wouldn’t do that for any random person.

5) Clint just met Grills and the LARPers the other day and by the end of the week, the LARPers dedicated themselves to him. They literally became the Hawkeye army.

6) Lucky the Pizza Dog immediately became attached to Clint, as if he was the dog’s owner the whole time.

7) He stopped Yelena Belova’s attack with just words and kindness. 

8) Should I even discuss Kate Bishop? We have six episodes of how she looked up to Clint as a child. 

TL;DR Clint Barton is the heart of the Avengers, even though he’s a grumpy dude who just wants to be left alone

The Marauders fandom can be so so toxic sometimes and it makes me so sad. Like, please, I can't stress it enough, let people have their own opinions and headcanons and don't get upset or angry if they disagree with yours!
