How do I reblog something 8 million times
I’ve been playing Apex Legends pretty much since it came out. Took a long break on it and am finally back into now that it has crossplay but i’ve noticed something again that’s been irking me for a while now.
This.
Everything else about this skin is very nice except his hair. Not only is that shit..ugly but it’s also cultural appreciation.
As well as this,
Crypto is Korean if I’m remembering correctly and that skin is supposed to be the Hype Beast sort of style yeah. There is a PLETHORA of amazing hairstyles that are not only originally from South Korea but just in general and yet they chose a cornrow style...
I’m not even going to say anything about Wraith. Those look like grinch fingers not locks.
Now, listen. All this wouldn’t be so bad if Bangalore didn’t have the same hairstyle just in different lengths and colors for all her skins.
I love that Apex had a diverse set of characters pretty much from launch, I do! I was so excited to see that after months of playing OW and their “diverse” cast of characters. I love that they had two strong black(and incredibly attractive. Lookin at you bangalore.) women right off the bat but I don’t like seeing them waste their amazing stylistic potential by giving the all of the traditionally black hair styles to the non-black characters.
We want this:
Look at her! She looks amazing!
Not this:
No body wants to get an epic Victory Royale with rat tails on their head.
"You're not Talia. Talia smells of Jasmine and Rose of Taif"
What are your guys thoughts on the Al Ghuls having a connection to magic/potentially being magic users themselves? Do you prefer the scientific approach to Lazarus, or the magical side? Would you like to see Damian, Talia, Ra’s, or Jason have some sort of magic as a result of their connection to the Lazarus magic?
Personally, I wish DC would do more with it. I think there’s a way to give them a slight magic connection without it making them over powered. The idea that the dramatic use of Lazarus has made it bind with their blood and thus always with them is so interesting.
The way I think about it is just that Ra’s was more in tune with the scientific side of things, sticking with more grounded realistic ideologies, which makes his disconnect with magic very realistic. Thus Talia would be rather uninformed about that side of things until much later in her life. I really want to focus on her exploration of magic in the story I’m writing, hopefully that’s something people will be interested in seeing!
ALSO! Do you guys prefer Talia to use traditional weapons like swords, bow/arrows, etc or do you prefer her original choice of guns? I genuinely like to see a mix of them all, but I sort of prefer the traditional weaponry, despite my having drawn her with guns a few times. I think it shows how she has become more ingrained into the league over the years.
DC gals
Talia in the Sons of Anarchy AU is still darkly morally gray, intense, and uses both those things to do what she wants. (this happens at least every 6 months)
Rival Squads 👀💦
I’m sooo strong and masculine my arm doesn’t even shake when I’m holding a pot over the sink while I fill it up with water (lying)
