I think what is so great about Miles is that Into the Spiderverse didn’t just make him ‘the black Spider-Man.’ He’s his own character. He’s fleshed out. He’s smart, he’s awkward, he’s talented and he’s sensitive. I’ve talked about this but sometimes people will write a black as ‘the black character.’ They don’t feel like a real person. Miles feels like a real teenager. He’s relatable on a lot of levels and that is one of the reasons Spiderverse is so good.

I hate when people casually discuss superheroes because I’m sitting in the corner with KNOWLEDGE and OPINIONS but I just have to smile and be like “haha yeah I like superman too” so I don’t scare anyone

Avengers Infinity War Challenge

So I finally saw Infinity War and I gotta say it has to be the most quotable Marvel movies to date. So I wanted to created a fun little game for us to play together. I’ve compiled a list of out of context Infinity War quotes (and for spoiler reasons I’m not giving context.) And basically I want you guys to send me one of these quotes with a character and I’ll write a new fic based on the quote/character you send in. :) All new fics will be spoiler free and will not take place during Infinity War.
