imagine watching your beloved husband shoto colour in a page of a unicorn themed colouring book with your daughter at the dining room table, both of them completely absorbed in the activity, your sweet girl even sticking out her tongue in concentration.

or at least, she was, before she realised what time it was and scampered of to watch her favourite cartoons new episode that was airing on the TV.

but shoto hasn’t realised. too concentrated on the little unicorn picture he was diligently colouring in, he hadn’t noticed that his little girl had left the table, leaving him colouring in a kids book by himself !!

you held in your giggles at the sight, but honestly more than anything, it warmed your heart. shoto was so clearly and visibly enjoying himself. he was enthralled with the silly little colouring page, the expression on his face was completely contented, the world around him falling away as he focused on the mindless, silly and so sweetly childish activity.

when he finished, all the colour perfectly in the lines, he proudly looked up to show his daughter, confusion very evident on his face when her own littler face wasn’t there looking back at him.

honestly i think everyone of all ages and genders and whatever should pick up a colouring book once in a while and have fun because ITS FUN !!!

after a tearful hug from your maid of honor, she returns to her seat so bakugou can approach the mic set up next to you and izuku’s table for his own speech, his hands in his pockets.

he clears his throat, then surprises literally nobody by starting with, “m not real big on public speaking.”

a laugh ripples through the crowd of your family and friends.

“so i’m just gonna let deku do all the talkin.”

you turn to izuku with a curious look, half expecting him to stand up, but he only shrugs in response, a divot between his brows as he shakes his head a little. there’s some rustling as bakugou withdraws his cellphone and takes a moment to scroll through it, as if hundreds of people aren’t watching him with dubious expressions.

but then, izuku’s voice crackles through the speaker. “hey, kacchan! you’re probably still on patrol, but i just...”

izuku’s voice is muffled by traffic, the wind, and his own heavy breaths as he walks through it, but even as a few words get lost to the noise, it becomes unmistakably clear that he is describing your first date.

where you ate, how you wore your hair, the way you tilted your head to show you were still listening when he started to babble — and how that only made the babbling worse.

“and i know i’m doing it again now, so i’m gonna hang up, but i just wanted to tell someone — tell you, i mean — that i think... i might’ve found the one.” his laugh is somewhere between bewildered and embarrassed. “that sounds crazy, doesn’t it?”

you turn back to your husband with a slack jaw and stinging eyes. his face is vermillion, but his smile is unrestrained.

i feel like he’d be SUPER flustered of course, but at first he’d just constantly convince himself he was interpreting your words wrong or jumping to crazy conclusions

then if you kept flirting with him he would start to think that maybe it was a joke? he’d heard you jokingly flirt with some of your other classmates too, so it was probably just a part of your personality, obviously nothing to do with him specifically!!

it would probably be kind of (super) frustrating that izuku didn’t seem to pick up on the sincerity of your flirting, i mean yeah it was something you did with a few of your close friends, but everybody else in the class could tell the way you flirted with him was genuine!

all the while izuku was slowly coming to the conclusion/opening his mind to the fact that you might just… actually have romantic feelings for him??

definitely lost sleep mumbling to himself in his room about all the different possibilities of your intentions that weren’t what you were actually doing (showing your genuine feelings for him through flirting)

he’s the type of guy to way the pros and cons before doing literally anything (me too, what can i say!)

and it’s not that he didn’t want you to like-like him like that, he felt the same way!! but it just still seemed impossible to him that you could truly have feelings for him.

it’d probably come to a point where you were flirting one day, he was blushing and looking away and you just burst out with an I LIKE YOU IDIOT!

a very sweet, adorable idiot that you have real romantic feelings for, but an idiot none the less..

overall, he would realise - he is very perceptive! - but he wouldn’t realise that your flirting wasn’t a joke, or a misinterpretation on his part, and in fact was you showing your true, genuine romantic interest in him. he would probably come to this conclusion on his own but i feel like it would take a lotttt of rationalisation (him thinking no one could be romantically interested in him) before he could fully accept it, and then talk to you about it UNLESS of course you used a more direct approach. (telling him you like him, right to his face, with irrefutable language) .

just finished episode one of interview with the vampire !! i absolutely fucking loved it, this is the exact type of show i’ve been looking for HOLY SHIT.

so captivating, haunting and beautiful and that was only ONE EPISODE.

never had a bubble wand with a fun shapes that does nothing… never tried to catch the bubbles as they flew… never just blown them upwards to watch them all rain down.. never tried to catch one on his tongue only to realise it tastes like dish soap..
