◇ TF2 Demoman x reader [crush, slightly romantic]

"Misson ends in 30 seconds!"

The administrator's voice shouted when your team tried to capture the control point. Heavy, Spy, and Solider were sill respawning. You stood behind the wall, peeking, trying to come up with the best strategy, but it was really hard to even think. BLU team was prepared today, keeping the control point for most of the match. It was hard to make a push even with the übercharge.

You were still looking around until someone pulled you behind the wall by your hand.

"Look out!" After those quick words, you heard a shot from BLU Sniper's rifle, almost shooting you right in the head. You turned around to see who you should thank, and it was someone you didn't expect. It was Demoman.

"Aye ya doin' alright? You almost got shot right in the head! Be cheerful next time"

"Thank you Demo. I will' you answered.

"Listen, I have an idea, I've already talked with Spy about it, but to do this I need an extra set of hands. What to ya say?"

"Sure!" You noded, smiling, ready for the commands.

"Alright, when ya hear their Snipers scream, run to the point with me. I'll take care of that sentry, meanwhile you will watch my back. That BLU Scout is gettin' me every time! So! What do you say?"

"I say, let's do this!"

You and Demo smiled together, waiting for the signal. It almost felt like an eternity, when finally both of you heard a loud scream coming from BLU Sniper's throat. Ready, both of you run straight to the control point. Demo shots his three grenades successfully, taking down sentry and BLU Engineer. Both of you started to cap the control point as your team joined you, finally pushing BLU back. The last control point was yours.

"Mission ends in 10 seconds"

The administrator shouted. This is when you noticed BLU Scout rushing at Demo. You took out your weapons and attacked him. He shot you in the arm a couple of times, ready to finish you, but this is when he looked down. Right on the floor were 5 stickys. Demo laughed before detonating them and blowing Scout into pieces. You smiled as he helped you stand up.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yes. Thank you Demo!"

He chukled as he was still holding your hand, looking at you. You couldn't help but notice he was starting with a small spark in his eye.

"Demo? You can let go now" you said.

"R-Right! Sorry" he said before letting your hand go and turning his face away, embarrassed.

"...5....4...3...2...1! VICTORY"

Your team laughed and cheered. Demo took out his bottle and took a big sip, and then laughed as he was oblitirating the BLU team's Medic with critical hits. You couldn't help but laugh with him, happy how this match ended.

Back at the base, you all were still celebrating, happily talking about everything. Everyone wanted to tell their part of the story how well they did today. But everyone agreed that you and Demo saved the game.

"You two run there and blow you them like nothing! That was freaking awesome!" Scout shouted.

"Ekhm. I believe I participated in zhis, too." Spy spoke from the corner of the room.

"Yea you did, thank you, Spy," you said. "That Sniper was ready to shoot us down"

Spy fixed his tie at this complement. Meanwhile, Demoman put hand around your shoulders cheering.

"We did fantastic! Their faces were priceless, especially that BLU Scout's face. It felt so good to finally take revenge on him!" He laughed and patted your back. Everyone continued to talk as he was again looking and smiling at you.

They next day after the party, you sighed as you walked into an empty dirty kitchen. Today was your turn to clean up after the party, so you started picking up the bottles. You were picking them all up, but one of them fell out of your hands. You were ready to hear how bottle shatters on the floor, but you noticed that someone caught it.

"I've got you, lad!" It was Demoman.

"Demo? What are you doing here this early?" You asked.

"I just simply woke up pretty early today. I was bored, so I wanted to make breakfast for myself, but from what I see, looks like you need some help" you didn't even answer when suddenly he took all bootle from your hands.

"Where should I put them?"

"Into that box" you said.

While Demo was busy, you started to clean the dishes plate after plate. Soon, he joined you, cleaning them aswell.

"Why are you helping me?"

"Oh I just- I thought you need some help, is all"

You smiled at him. This is when you noticed he was starting at you again.

"You do that again" you smirked.

"I do what?" he asked.

"You're staring. Do I have something on my face?"

"Beside that beautiful smile?" He said before slaping himself in the forehead as he blushed.

"I mean....ya know." Demo continued as he was cleaning another plate. "You just have a nice face, and I think it suits ya"

"Suits me?"

"I mean! Uh. Ya knew what I mean" you started to laugh.

"Oh, come on! It's early in the mornin' don't blame me for sayin' stupid things"

But you continued to laugh, when suddenly he splashed some water at you. You splashed him back, and then both of you stared to splash each other and run around the kitchen, laughing as you both were wet from head to toe. Soon, he splashed some water at your hair.

"Got ya nowww!" As he was celebrating, he triped on the wet floor. You walked up to him quickly.

"Demo?! Are you alright?"

He looked up at you with a wide smile.

"I have never felt better. Especially with you around"

You helped him stand up, you hold his hand close, and so did he. You didn't let go. You two were looking at each other with small spark in your eyes.

"Let me get ya towel. You are more wet than monster from Loch Ness. " he went to the bathroom and soon came back with two towels. Both of you stared to clean when he walked up to you, putting his hand over your cheek.

"Ya know, you aye the most fun and amazing person I know. Besides, Solider, of course" you both chukled as you hold each others hands.

Later, you both finally finished cleaning the kitchen, so you sat down on the couch with Demo next to you. He sighed and warped his arm around you. This is when you put your head over his shoulder, smiling from ear to ear.

"Mind if we stay like this for a while?" he asked.

"Sure. I don't mind at all"

He smiled and lay his head over yours, and as you both cuddle, soon you fall asleep together in a quiet, comforting hug...

"ATTAAAACK!!" Solider screamed as you and Scout runned ahead.

You were defending the bridge, shooting your enemies. You and Scout hold your positions, as Solider rocket jump on the roof. BLU Heavy shoot his bullets at you, but even injured you fighted with all your strength. Solider attacked them from behind and BAM! Bridge finally was clean from those BLU cowards. You and Scout started to go back inside, calling for...

"Doc! Come on man!" Scout shouted.

Medic runned up to you two, healing Socut first, then he keept his beem on you. He tillted his head while looking at you.

"You almost ended up respawning, good thing you are strong"

You smiled at this complement.

"So, are you ready to test übercharge?" You crossed your hands on your chest thinking. Medic gave you heart changing surgery 2 days ago, but you never had a chance to use über. You seen how Medic used it on Heavy, Solider and Demoman, and it was something you've never seen something so dangerous and special just like man that had the idea on this device in the first place.

"Doctor are you sure? I have never been under this effect. What if I mess this up?" you said. Medic on those words giggled before putting hand on your shoulder.

"Don't be ridiculous. Besides I'll be zhere right behind you. Hoho I can't wait for you too try it. For now go back to respawn room and make sure you will be ready. In zhe meantime I need to heal others to prepar one for you. Oh this is so exciting!"

Medic went outside, and started to heal Solider and Pyro, you in the meantime went back to the respawn to make sure you have everything ready. You passed beside sentry gun gretting Engineer, before walking inside respawn room, and getting things you needed from the locker. This is when Demoman spawned. He run up to you shaking you by your shoulders.

"Ay! Get to the battlefield! Medic is in their base alone. His über is ready, but I died to the sentry. Ya aye faster than me! Go through the sewers"

You quickly run out, jumping down from the balcony, then into the water, before runing into the sewers. This is where Medic was, you jumped in front of him, protecting him from Scout's bullets.

"Doctor now!" you shouted.

This is when Medic used his über on you and that... was one of the best things you have ever experienced!Your skin was hard like metal, you felt how your blood started to boil and you laughed before launching at the enemy Scout, that quickly was shoot down by you. You run up getting into BLU's base noticing Engineer's and his level three sentry shoot at you, but you didn't feel anything. Was an amazing feeling! You used your weapons and you quickly took care of the nest killing enemy Engineer, Demoman and Spy.

When effect was over you and Medic ran outside laughing.

"That was AMAZING!" You said while trying to catch a breath.

"Ah yez it sure was an interesting experience. Seeing you with such wide smile while you punched zhat Spy right in the face was truly worth it!" Medic laughed, you looked at his face, seeing him smiling under the deems of sun made you drift away in your thoughts. You stood there looking at him for a while, before he looked back at you.

"Iz my face zhat interesting?" He asked.

You turned around a bit embarrassed. He smiled and rased his eyebrow.

"I don't hear you deeennyiingggg~" Medic teased before walking away with big smirk on his face.

"I- I just-" you started but you didn't knew how to explain it.

"Ah it's alright mein freund. Let's go back, I bet others needs my assistance"

You noded. Medic kept his beem on you, following you steps, as you sprinted back to the backlines.

Match ended with you, Heavy and Medic beeing one of the most dangerous mercs on the battlefield. You and Medic were unstoppable, as you were his main healing priority today. After match ended Medic asked if you could meet him in his laboratory, which you did.

"Ah hello! I'm glad you came!" He greeted you with big smile on his face.

"Come on in! I prepared everything for your examination. Or more likely a checkup"

You sat down on the operating table while Medic was speaking.

"Checkup? Why?"

Medic brought his stethoscope and lighter, putting them on table next to you.

"Well, you had your über used on you for the first time. I need to check if everything went alright. Everyone were complaining about chest pain after using über for the first time. Yes that is completely true, so I wanted to makes sure nothing like that will or is happening to you, just to be sure."

You were feeling fine actually, but Medic is- uh- was the doctor here so you listened to him.

"Alright take your shirt off please, i need to check your heartbeat. It's fine if you need to keep something under in I just want to see if it beats as it should"

You took your shirt off, showing to Medic your chest. He press his stethoscope on your chest, cheerfully listening to your heartbeat, that was getting faster with each second he was closer to you.

"Big and strong. Good good..."

Then he took flashing and gently hold your chin up.

"Let me see those beautiful eyes, bitte"

You blushed when Medic rubbed your cheek with his thumb, he smirked while he was checking your eyes.

"Would you look at that. What made you change your color all of the sudden? Trying to fit into team color scheme even more?"

Medic chuckld as you put your shirt back on. Later Medic tested your strength, eyes and other übercharges on you before writing everything down.

"Now zhe last zhing! Archimedes!"

Archimedes fly up to Medic, with red flower in his beek. Medic took it and pinned it to your uniform.

"How is this conneced to heart checkup?" You asked.

"Haha! I doesn't connect at all! I simply just thought this flower suits you!" He said while fixing your uniform. You couldn't help but cover your face with your hand, just to hide how much red you are.

"And all done! You are completely fine. Tho I suggest you should drink a lot of water"

"Thank you. Is it all?"

"Tehnicly yes! Thank you for coming liebe. I really enjoyed spending time with you!"

You smiled at Medic before walking out. You went to the common room where Sniper and Scout sat together. They noticed your good mood and flower on your uniform.

"Oi were ya been?" Sniper asked.

"Oh I was just with the Medic. You know, for checkup after using an übercharge for the firsy time. He told me that all of you felt pain so he just needed to make sure if it wasn't anything serious"

Scout and Sniper looked at each other before looking back at you.

"But you know that Medic never checked us after the first use of the über right? None of us complained, everything was completely fine" Socut explained.

"Huh?"

"Yea. I mean he wanted to cut me open, but besides that we didn't have any check-ups"

"But- why- what?" You sat there confused and a bit embarrassed when Scout smirked.

"Sooooo, that flower was a part of the checkup too?~"

"SCOUT!"

Scout and Sniper couldn't help but make jokes after seeing you beeing flustered. But all you could think of was Medic, and how he tricked you...just to spend time with you? All you could do is to blush and look at flower that was a small, but sweet gift just from him

Your breath puffed in faint clouds, as the sun was slowly hiding behind mountains of snow. You walked through a neighbourhood, gazing at houses decorated on Smissmas with bright lights and other plastic holiday-themed decorations. You hold a small letter addressed specifically to you from your old friend, Scout, or now, Jeremy Willis, who was inviting you to join and celebrate holidays this year. You couldn't show up on previous ones, you worked alongside Miss Pauling, helping her get rid of even the smallest connection mercs ever had with the TF industry. You spend over six years helping them, just so they can live normal lives. After long years of destroying the past, you were happy to enjoy the future.

When you got that letter, you answered, promising to show up.

A cold wind was blowing the at back of your neck, as you slowly raised your hand to knock on doors. You waited, ready for someone to open them, tapping your foot over the wooden porch, in the meantime checking if you had everything on you, soon doors opened, and you couldn't stop smiling knowing you'd get to see them again, after seven years.

"Oh hey! It's You !" Jeremy opened the door, welcoming you with a wide smile on his face "Get in here, you big dummy"

"Hello there Jeremy! I am late?" You asked.

Fortunately for you, they were just getting started. You put away your coat and presents you brought for others and change your boots, not wanting to dirty the floor with wet shoes. Scout led you to the living room from which loud sounds of laughter were heard. As you walked, you listened to your friend, thanking you for showing up and sticking around for so long. You sparkled with joy at every word he was saying, still in disbelief at how much this loud boy had grown.

"Alright c'mon before this gets embarrassin' " you smirked, knowing it kinda already did.

"Miss Pauling brought us a turkey! But just remember...-"

Both of you stepped into the warm bright light of the room, it blinded you for a moment, but when your eyes adjusted, you saw them all sitting around a large table with a smile on each familiar face. Not the fake one. No. It was the true smile of joy, happiness, freedom, ...of life.

It was something..... that even the most positive words could not describe.

"We couldn't' have done any of this without you."

...you?

You stood there, eyes slowly filling with tears as wide smile showed up on you face. You stared at Scout, who was pointing at saved seat for you, waiting for you to sit down and join them. You walked up to him...and gave him big hug.

"Thank you..." you wishpered, before letting him go.

You sat down, and noticed a man sitting on your left next to you. Was it-

"I see you finally decided to join us"

It was Spy. You tried hard not to freak out, or scream in joy, so you just cracked wide stupid smile.

Everyone started do what they did best, the started to talk loudly, asking you many questions about you job, life, family, everything! You were happy to meet in person their family members, little girl named Tanya was the first one to introduce herself and invited you to play with them. Other kids swarmed you like bee's, wanting all your attention to themselves. So did Pyro, who was holding your arm close to their chest, expressing how much they missed you. Fortunately you were saved by Heavy, who invited you for a drink alongside Medic, Demo, Engi and Sniper. Later Solider pulled you aside to introduce you to his children [with interesting choice of names] and his loving wife Zhanna, who gave you death threat if you try to look at her man in any funny way. At least she gave you strong handshake. Later Heavy's youngest sister Bronislava handed you over some pictures she took, from simple selfies to group photos with men you used to work with but never stop beeing friends with.

Hours passed but for you it didn't matter. Time was not a thing when you were with them all, enjoying every second of chaotic energy they brought to this room. Scout was more than happy to see how you and his kids bonded, especially after you told them stories about how their father saved your life many times, how they beat up the bad guys and uncovered secrets together. For the little ones it was one check of a fairly tale, but for you it was your past. Then loud booming was heard outside, as sky sparkled with colors.

"Fireworks!" Kids shouted as they run past you, pining their face to the window and watching with aw how sky lights up on many different colors. As kids watched you sneak away, to join the adults in the living room, to take a break. Spy poured some water in your glass, and handed it to you with gentle smile. You took a sip and looked around, memories coming back to you. It was a long time ago.... wasn't it?

This party just like every party will end, but memories from it will stay in your mind, sorry but you won't forget those nine morons in a lonnggggg time ha! Enjoy this party, even if you have to know it will end eventually, because this won't go on forever... but long enough to make fantastic moment that soon you'll be calling memories.

At that moment Scout rased his glass and shouted "Wishing you Merry Smissmas everyone!"

I have 2 favourite animals, sorry but I couldn't pick just one 😅

It will be definitely Lynx and Collared Dove!

Lynx: I love them! Beautiful wild cats that has even their own constalation in the sky! They avoid humans sure, but can be defensive around their young ones. And Lynx isn't small either! They aren't your typical house cats, they can be just a large as dogs or even bigger! And their ears! Come on, how can't I not love them :]

Collared Dove: They are my childhood birds. Always hear them sing outside my window early in the morning. They have beautiful unique appearance, and are really stealthy. When I go on a bike in my village or just to the forest I love spotting them and watch how they fly or just sit. Their light color scheme is what draws me to them, they aren't like the pigeons from the city, they are calm and sneaky and majestic. Long story short those birds are part of my inner child

I think I will change name of this blog on my Ao3 nickname or make new one. Current name is too similar to my other blog and I want those two separated.
