#peter&rose angst saga

Moving forward at the pace of a snail, lol, ep7 here I go!! But I'm very pleasently surprised by the quality! Not that S1 was bad, by any means. It was great! Precisely for that, I was a a bit anxious but, man so far this is amazing. I want to talk about so many things, there's so much to say!!!!

Oh good I'm on ep 4 of TNA and gaaaaaah I'm scared. I kinda know how things go but I just want Peter and Rose to always be like this, them versus the world, ya know. I know why what happens has to happen and all, but I don't know if I'm prepared for this much angst. Let my babies have their cabin and chill for a year!!

I'm lying, gimme all the angst.

hope you're further along now!!!!!! i had to watch this season over a week against my own wishes and it was painful!!! the tension the angst the implications!!! its so good. i could replay the finale and like all of their scenes a thousand times and not be bored. but yeah cabin and chill s3?? s400???

So here's the thing: if Hina and Kainalu were to become an actual couple, the writers would be wasting so many opportunities. First of all, and I know this is subjective, there's no romantic chemistry/sexual tension there. I also think that the growth we saw from Kainalu once he accepted Hina was not interested in him has been the most compelling part of his character, and standing up to his father stems from this too. Them getting together might nullify all his progress (or it might not), but there's no denying that the development he might have had when coming to terms with the fact that you can't throw money to fix your life to your liking can't happen if they turn into a couple.

And I don't particularly care for Kainalu, so this isn't even what I really want to talk about.

I know I'm most likely being delusional, but I feel like Hina and Kainalu hooking up is just a plot device for both characters' development. Or that's what it should be.
