Got lots of things to make bracelets with for my birthday. So I decided to make some BTA/Underanger theme bracelets cuz why not!! (The Siqua and Nimiee ones are a little big, but oh well.)

Fun fact- when I first made Under Anger (what BTA is prequel-ing) I was 11 and was sick of every AU being about Sans. So I went out of my way to give every other character more lore than Sans bc I'm petty /hj

But that's why Alphys, Undyne, and Papyrus have a lot more substance and scenes, while Sans is pretty much just reacting for the first season of this comic. For those sans lovers though (so pretty much all of you) he becomes kind of cool once he gets older.

But yall haven't even met the skeleton brothers yet! In due time.

I drew my fit today!

Why, you ask? To document the first time I wore a short skirt this year! I think everyone I know thinks I don't like short skirts because I'm usually wearing long skirts, but that's not true. It's weather related, geez. (I'm kidding I just thought I looked like a baddie grandma so I wanted to draw myself. Self love is good. Go draw yourself, too.)

I'm trying some different things with the style of BTA. I sort of want it to look like a printed comic on paper. Also, I want the colors to be warmer. (This episode is in Snowdin so I made it look colder on purpose, though)

In this comic, the askers (that's you!) assume the role of random wandering ghosts. This is only for the sake of narrative: however, if you want to roleplay or otherwise flesh out your little ghost character, you may do so in the comment section. Just please keep the ask box reserved for "asks" only!

You can ask me- the creator (my name is Bri Jo)- some questions, but I generally want this blog to be centered around the comic's storyline and characters.

When you are asking something, please specify somewhere who you are talking to! This will avoid confusion for all of us :) This comic doesn't strictly follow FNaF lore! Somethings that are cannon in FNaF didn't happen in Mr. Sleepy.

Storyline:

This is a FNaF AU comic that you can influence with your asks (I'm sure you've picked that up by now). It follows Chica as the main character and her friends- Foxy, Bonnie, and Freddy- as they try to figure out their mysterious past. They have been trapped in Mr. Sleepy's Daycare for thirty years and are now desperate, bored, and a little crazy. Alongside them, little wandering ghosts without vessels ask them questions. Each animatronic has their own debilitating curse, and their tormentor, Miss Spring, is hellbent on getting the animatronics all on her level- by getting them to kill an innocent person. She has already gotten two of them.

Before the Anger- episode 43, "A Red Pen and a Dumb Book"

((Chara decided to humour Toriel and joined her in the kitchen. She even pretended to smile and said, “Sure, Mother.” and seeing Toriel’s face light up made Chara’s smile genuine. What a stupid woman. Chara stood beside Toriel, looking up into her piercing eyes. Being this close to such a creature made Chara’s hands tremble, so she made a tight fist.))

The color red is very important in this comic. It symbolizes humanity. Gaster's speech bubble...

Ooh, the composition!

I think that is a very interesting way to describe it- Alphys against the whole underground. Of course, the majority of people aren't just killing for fun. Most resolve to kill only when necessary, its just that they all have their own ideas of what "necessary" means 😅

Girl Vs Society

Stories tend to have a “Man Vs Self”, “Man Vs Nature” narrative. I think that BTA fits that pretty well with Alphys seemingly being the only pacifist in a genocide world

I drew this scene from my (not made yet) AU called SoapTale. Pretty much, Frisk is blind and Papyrus is like "wow it must be so cool to get to wear sunglasses all the time" and Frisk is like "actually, I don't ever wear sunglasses."

Then they come up with an amazing idea. Matching. The glamour. The soon-to-be fame. Such a awe-inspiring duo!

Meanwhile, ghost Chara just wants to take over the world.

Because my plan with the style of this comic would be to have the characters be color blocks, I actually mixed all their colors with their main color. Did that make sense? I think I should do it more often because it makes for a nice color pallete
