You had realised over the past week (over the seven days Felix had avoided you) that what you felt for Felix was stronger than just friendship.

Upon reflection, it had become clear that you’d had these feelings all along and simply chosen to ignore they were there, slowly growing stronger with every day that you and Felix spent together. 

It wasn’t hard to convince yourself that your heart fluttered for no particular reason when he smiled at you, or that the silent desire to impress him when you trained was out of competition and not because you secretly loved the way he looked at you with pride when you outmanoeuvred him.

Ugly reader? I'm sorry but I've never heard of such a thing. I don't think I know anyone in this world I would term ugly based on appearance. You, my lovely, gorgeous anon are beautiful and I will not stand for anyone calling you ugly, not even yourself.

You wanna know how the boys will react to you? Read on.

Steve Rogers: The moment he hears you call yourself ugly he stops what he's doing and just looks at you. He frowns, looking almost confused as he gazed at you. He takes your hand and pulls you into his massive chest, brushing your hair back so he could see you clearly.

"Ugly? You? The girl who shines so bright she lights the world around her, you're calling her ugly? Who gave you the right to talk about my best girl like that eh? No one compares to you, not from back in the 40s, not today. You’re the beacon of light that keeps me grounded doll. Gotta show you how beautiful you really are"

And he proceeds to do just that.

Bucky Barnes: He heard you say to Nat that a dress won't look pretty on your ugly body. That night, he sneaks in your room and crawls inside the covers with you, holding your body tight to his. He took your in his and metal one, lips at your ear.

"What do you see when you look at me?" He asked.

"A broken beautiful man deserving of love" you answered automatically. He tips your chin up so that he could look in your eyes, the tenderest of look swimming in the blues.

"I see the same when I look at you. I see a woman who found the most scarred man and still loved him. I see a woman so pure I fear I'll taint her with my bloody hands. Never call yourself ugly, never again."

Lee Bodecker: Lee straight away snorts when you call yourself ugly. He rolled his eyes at you as he swiftly gathers you in his arm and sits you on his lap. He takes his hat and puts it on your head, the rim falling loose and slipping over your forehead so he had to push it up with a finger. 

"You're the only pretty thing in this shitty town. You've got a heart as big as my tummy" he takes your hand and pressed it into his soft flesh "you're the only one whose smile I'd both die for and kill for. Ugly my ass, you're the most beautiful gal I know and you're all mine".

Ransom Drysdale: "What the fuck did you just say?" He asked when you said you look ugly. You look at him aghast, not expecting the outburst. He stepped closer, putting his arms on either side of you and looking at you intently. 

"Have you met my family? My fucked up, greedy aunts and uncles? Have you met my mother? They wear a thousand dollars clothes and still manage to be the cheapest people I have ever met. And you? You can wear a burlap sack and would still be the prettiest flower because you found it in you to love a shitty brat like me. Now come here so I can show you how beautiful you are."

Andy Barber: He was driving when you made the comment, the word ugly said almost unconsciously. You blinked when he stopped the car, turning to look at you.

"I've studied law for over nearly two decades and there are two things that I know are wrong with them. The first one is that it should be illegal for anyone to be as beautiful, as amazing as you, and the second that it should be a punishable offense for anyone to call such a woman as yourself ugly. I'm a lawyer, trust my judgement. Nod if you understand."

You nod, he smiled and restated the car, one hand reaching over to pull yours in his lap.

Tony Stark: He knocked over the lab apparatus he was working with and stared at you incomprehensibly. He had that expression on his face that he reserved for idiots who didn’t understand his science lingo.

"What the hell are you on about? Sweetpie, you love a man who made weapons that killed hundreds. You gave me your love when I didn't deserve any. You gave my kindness when I didn't deserve any. You think anyone who's ugly could do that? I'll book an appointment with the ophthalmologist, you need to get those eyes checked."

Loki : He was in the middle of polishing his blade and the moment the words "I am ugly" passed your lips that blade shot out and embedded itself in the opposite wall.

"i am a man of magic. I can create the most unthinkable illusions with my mind and hands, and yet no matter how proficient I get, I'll never be able to create something as beautiful as you. You need to stop talking like this, I don't like it when people disrespect those that I hold dear."

Sherlock Holmes : He shut the newspaper he was reading and put it on the desk behind him as he pinned you with his stare. 

"When I search for something, I usually get it because I have a gaze that doesn't miss much. My every quest for beauty and love has led me to you. My mind and heart have never seen anything as beautiful as you. I am Sherlock Holmes, I don't lie. Believe me when I say you haven't got an ugly bone in your body.”

Maze runner Reactions Badass Reader

Reader - A badass girl who can look after herself and doesn’t need anyone. Your skilled in combat and have exceptionally good reflex’s. You have spent about 3 months in the Maze and its your first time meeting actual people.

Glader’s Reactions

Gally: She can think what ever the shucking hell she likes but we have rules here and she will obey them just like everyone else. I don’t trust her, not a chance and i dont know if I believe this la la story about staying in the the maze for 3 months.

Newt: Well i honestly kinda like her..she’s very different from the rest of us kinda like Thomas but more mysterious and wild. I can see she’s quite hard to tame, she definitely doesn’t like being told what to do. Ha ha ha...we ultimately had to throw her in the Slammer for a month..but it was all worth it.

Minho: God that girl makes grievers easy to handle, it was bad enough when me and Ben had to drag her back into the glade by force. She kicked Ben right i the face and elbowed me to the ribs. I’m not gonna lie i like a challenge and I’m defiantly not backing down from this one. Neither is Gally.

Thomas: I really admire the girl..not that i want t be thrown in the slammer as well. But i just really like her drive and passion it makes her seem powerful, invincible almost. I wonder ho she lasted so long in the maze and if she’s willing to teach me. I don’t see her as the wild girl that she is, she just wants her freedom and wants to live by her own rules which is fair enough.

Chuck: I think Ably and Gally are a bit harsh on her. Sure she was very violent and quite aggressive but that’s cause Gally pushed her over the edge. I remember approaching her when she was in the slammer she was very kind to me, she had a soft voice and did not threaten me at all. She told me her stories about the outside world beyond the maze and the battles she fought with the Grievers. I really enjoy her company and I’m happy she’s not the psycho everyone sorta makes her out to be.

Alby: Where do I even start, she’s a lot to handle in more ways then one. I can’t let her out of my sight cause she will make a dash for the maze, she wont do the work I assign her and she wont obey pretty much any of our rules and there are only 3! I don’t now I still have hope for her but its running short, maybe she really does belong to the Maze. Or maybe I’m not looking at the bigger picture.

Frypan: Huh the only things that really seems to calm her down is my cook she loves the steaks i cook and always wants them. All the interactions I have had with her aren’t actually bad,she always thanks me for my efforts and acknowledges that she loves my food. One time she actually snuck into the homestead and helped me with the cooking and cleaning She really isn’t a bad sort. I think Ably and Gally need to just give the girls chance and loosen up, see the word through her perspective.

The winter solstice was in a few days and you weren’t sure what to get some of the inner circle. You walked briskly down the streets of the Rainbow, chilled to the bone due to the wind. You had made the dumb mistake of rushing out of the townhouse - to avoid any questions of where you were going - without taking your scarf. Your current outfit, which was a chunky knit blue sweater with leggings and boots, wasn’t enough to keep the chill away. But the cold wasn’t the most important thing on your mind. You had already bought presents for Rhys, Feyre, Amren, and Elain, but that left Cassian, Mor, and Azriel. Mor and Cass would be pretty easy to buy for, but you put it off knowing they would look through your room trying to find their solstice gift. But Azriel, that would be much harder.

Every waking hour, the shadowsinger haunted your thoughts. Something you had come to conclude was unrequited.

You had realized the mating bond between you two before he did.

It had clicked a few months ago while on a diplomatic mission. The aftermath of Hybern had left things chaotic, and if you were being honest, it still was. Rhys decided to send Cassian, Mor, Azriel, and you to travel to some of the other courts to bring back reports on the recovery after the war. However, traveling did have some dangers. While you were on your way back to Velaris from the Winter Court, your group was ambushed by a group of Hybern soldiers who had been hiding out in the mountains. Had it not been for Azriel’s wings shielding you from the initial arrows, you would’ve surely been dead, and that’s when it clicked for you. But like an idiot, you didn’t say anything.

You had thought if the bond had clicked for you, it would’ve clicked for Azriel too. You realized your mistake when Azriel hadn’t acknowledged any change between you two. You hoped that he would figure it out in the coming weeks, but he didn’t. You knew the same sort of situation happened with feyre and rhys so you still held out some hope. But as the months went by, and you realized the bond still hadn’t clicked for Azriel and it felt too late to tell him.

At least that was the excuse you made up. Truly, you were also afraid of the rejection that could have followed. You weren’t a fool, you knew him and Elain had some sort of connection, and that shattered your dreams even more. The possibility that he wouldn’t accept the mating bond to be with the fair skinned, doe eyed fae. Everytime Azriel was in the same room as Elain, she was the only thing he would pay attention to. During gatherings, you would plaster on a smile and act as if you were happy, but Cassian and Mor, your best friends, could sense your discomfort. They tried to ask you about it, but seeing as you would shut down anything they said, they decided not to pry too much. Amren ended up figuring out the source of your discomfort had to do with Azriel, but kept your secret until you would be ready to share it.

You came to the conclusion that distancing yourself from him would be the best option, so that’s what you did.

“Come on sweetheart, it’ll be fun” your dad said, trying to persuade you.

You crossed your arms, still not sure about the whole situation.

“You said that I didn’t have to go down the red carpet with you” you argued.

Your dad was Chris Evans. He brought you as his date to the Endgame premiere. You loved spending time with your dad, so the premieres were always fun.

“Just go take some pictures with your old man. Plus, you’re going to be a famous star some day. This will be great practice” he said.

Why did he always have to be so persuasive?

“Okay fine”

You were an aspiring actress. As a kid, you just wanted to be like your dad. You were 22 years old. Your parents met in high school, so it was an understatement to say you were an accident.

Your parents had two defining differences. Your dad stayed; and your mom didn’t.

Your dad protected you and taught you everything you needed to know.

You had a magical childhood. You got to grow up on film sets with your dad. All his Avengers costars became like aunts and uncles to you.

You were surrounded by cinema and acting from a young age. It didn’t surprise anyone when you decided to pursue acting. You had just recently graduated from Juilliard. You were starting to dive headfirst into the acting world.

You had done a few small roles while in school, but you had just recently auditioned for a big movie. It was called Til’ Summer Ends

It was about a man and a woman from opposite ends of the world who meet in Greece, while on separate vacations. They could not be more different from each other. They are quickly attracted to each other, but they both have responsibilities at home at the end of the summer. They decide to make a lifetimes worth of memories jammed into one summer.

Of course, there is the expected twist where they end up together in the end against all odds.

You had auditioned for the lead female character. You had talked to your dad and some of his costars for any tips for an auditions. They were all beyond excited for you.

After you did your audition, you got a text from Sebastian saying that he had gotten the lead male role.

You and Sebastian had a weird complicated relationship. He had been a second dad to you growing up, but you hadn’t seen him since you graduated. You had just been too busy. Recently, you noticed a small crush forming.
