I'm currently trying to summon back my old book mouse* spirit and start reading again.
I have already started a few weeks ago with an old favourite (from my childhood) to get used to read a bit every day again, but then I realized I was late with the school homework schedule so I have to overlap different readings, which I don't like much but I know I can do it ๐ญ
(the ๐ is for currently reading, the others are to read)
๐ผ school:
๐ ~ ๐ฎ๐น ~ Italo Calvino Racconta L'Orlando Furioso
๐ฌ๐ง ~ And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
๐ my choice:
๐ ~ ๐ฎ๐น ~ Fairy Oak 1 - Il Segreto delle Gemelle di Elisabetta Gnone
๐ฎ๐น ~ Il Ritratto di Dorian Gray di Oscar Wilde
๐ฎ๐น ~ Cime Tempestose di Emily Brontรซ
* in Italy we say book mouse ๐ญ and I think it's much cuter than worm, I'd like to be a mouse living in an old library(no offence to book worms ๐ชฑ tho)
my opinion on generative ai writing continues to be incredibly simple: if you don't want to put in the effort to write it, I don't want to put in the effort to read it. you the author have decided it is not worth your own time so it is absolutely not worth mine. yippee !
a Very Important Purchase

this is my first time making a kind of aesthetic blog and I tend to be really inconsistent with projects but I'll try!
last year i did a bit of a mess with school work and that made me reflect on how i could change my way of approaching studying... and so here i am on studyblr, finding my motivation (and fighting with the keyboard corrector to keep everything low caps xd).
i'm also studying art by myself because that's my passion, and that will take an important space in my schedules too. and maybe some other personal projects will too.

(I don't know when some of these wills start)
- this week's goal posts
- thoughts and emotions
- study plans/goals and tips
- monthly recap
- other things, I'm still figuring this out
everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it.
So many things to do yet so little time left...
We could have lived in this world... damn you Rutherford
push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you.

Just. WRITE. Writing is analysing, youโll get more ideas as you write. It doesnโt need to be perfect, for now you can just blurt out words and ideas randomly. You can fix it later.
Create a skeleton/structure before writing.
Stop before you get exhausted. Itโs best to stop writing when you still have some energy and inspiration left, this will also motivate you to get started again next time.
Make a to do list
Work in bite sizes. Even if itโs not much, as long as you put some ideas on paper or do some editing.
Simple language =/= boring language, simple language = clear language.
Own your words. If they are not your words, state this clearly in the text, not just in the footnotes.
STOP BEFORE YOU GET EXHAUSTED. Listing it again because itโs easily one of the best tips a teacher has ever given me.
Basically republicans want to make it so your ID has to match your birth certificate which affects everyone from trans people to married women to immigrants.
Meanwhile, in GA, they're going to force all ballots to be hand counted, which could make it difficult to meet the deadline to certify the vote, and thus potentially allow them to give the state to Trump regardless of the outcome.
In many states, such as Ohio, Florida, Texas and North Carolina, they've been purging voters from the rolls by the millions.
If voting didn't matter, why are they trying so damn hard to stop us?
