Pleasantville is a beautifully stunning film about the importance of living life to the absolute fullest, not giving it a proper, structured definition, and the inherent hypocrisy of internalising your own humanity. Itโs one of the best usages of colour since The Wizard of Oz and it also features a scene in which a woman having an orgasm for the first time causes a tree to spontaneously combust.
Did you like the premise of Barbie? Watch Pleasantville.
Did you like The Truman Show? Watch Pleasantville.
Have you an attraction to either Tobey Maguire and/or Reese Witherspoon? Watch Pleasantville.
Quite possibly a new favourite of mine. Phenomenal.

To my fellow followers:
I'm continuing college again which sadly is delaying my small little fan project I've talked about lately.
So please bear with me, thank you for your sweet patience ๐

When boyfriend is too tall to kiss.
for @fandomsandassortedgoods (as you love the dynamic uwu)
am i the only one strangely fond of these two bonding?
i just didnโt expect them to interact but it makes so much sense?
they are both two brilliant, talented guys. one coming from a place of wealth and opportunities, the other familiar with death and destruction only. two sides of the same coin.
also, i kind of want someone more mature to be there for ekko.
both him and powder lost everyone when they were children. but while she had silco before (not a good father figure but still one) and now sevika, ekko had nobody.
he had to grow up fast and learn how to live on his own. he turned out into a good, strong, clever boy. he is a leader and a defender and heโs more than capable of taking care of himself by now.
but he is in fact so young still. his father figure died when he was just a kid and no one ever filled that hole.
so, to have jayce interact with him, sharing his knowledge with him and being humbled by ekko, who shows him the brutal reality the people from zaun are forced to live in is kind of heartwarming.
i donโt know, i am just a softie when it comes to mentor/mentee-father/son-older brother/younger brother dynamics and iโll hold tightly onto every little moment lmao.
canโt wait to see more of these two :โ)
edit: nvm, they deceived me
