Why do we as a society keep coming back to sex jokes?
Penis blast hilarious
Hey whump community, if we as a whole could stop incorrectly referring to various whumper characters as "sociopaths" "psychopaths" "bipolar" "narcissists" or any other demonized mental conditions, that would be nice.
If you're going to write a story which seriously takes into account how a mental illness, cluster b disorder, or whatever affects a character (yes, including villains) I'm fine with it so long as you put in your due research.
But if you're going to throw around improper diagnostic terms and slurs for the mentally ill simply to state that a character is "evil" or "abusive" then you are getting yourself blocked no questions asked.

I think we're all really scared right now. If you live in a high risk area, and if you can, make sure you have all your important documents where you can easily access them, get a passport, etc. Make preparations if you potentially have to get out.
…”Will you tag (something that is not a common phobia or trauma trigger)?” is always an appropriate request. Even if you’re asking “will you tag for the letter ‘e’,” you’re not crossing boundaries unless the person you’ve asking has already said, clearly, that they will not tag for a thing.
However, “no,” is an equally appropriate reply. It’s nice to have reasons (no I will not tag frogs because I post too many frogs and I forget, meaning that the tag will not protect you; no, I will not tag Disney princesses because it says “Disney princesses” in my blog description and you knew this was a dead dove before you took a bite), but they are absolutely not required.
“Will you tag for birds of prey?” “No. Please unfollow me if you require that tag.” is a perfectly polite exchange.
Bathroom accessibility is not limited to mobility aids.
Bathroom accessibility is also having hooks to hang medical equipment.
I went to Walmart today and none of the bathroom stalls had hooks for my feeding tube backpack. Not even the disabled stall. They were intentionally removed by the store.
These hooks are important because we shouldn’t have to put our equipment on the floor and risk god knows what by contaminating our backpacks in the public bathroom.
Bathroom accessibility is having a fully equipped disabled stall or single use bathroom, hooks for medical equipment/bags, infant/child AND adult changing tables, sharps containers, free pads/tampons, and having a free to access, fully functioning and clean bathroom at all times.
Learning to delete/mute/block before a negative comment takes root in your mind is a modern survival skill. If you're going to wander the overgrown countryside of the internet, you need to develop a quick eye for ticks.
It's deeply tempting to respond to the "well, actually," to the cruel assumption, to the unjust accusation, to the odious viewpoint. It's tempting because you're defaulting to the etiquette of dinner conversation. This isn't a dinner conversation. Someone is shouting at you from a moving car. Turn away.
if you’re the type of person to say “be gay, do crimes” but get upset or uncomfortable when one of your friends ((or literally anyone for that matter)) has to steal food from the grocery store in order to survive, then maybe you don’t actually believe in your silly little motto.
“Johann Scheff, trans lady SW arrested in 1932 for nicking women’s clothes from a department store in Berlin.” We’ve always been here. Not even book burnings can truly erase it.
