I think he loves how when you’re 1:1 you’ve got a lot of energy. Talking and laughing, joking and flirting. It feels special to him that you’re like that with him, and almost only him! And when you’re hanging out with his friends and get more shy/introverted? He loves excuses to subtly show off by protecting you. Tsugeura, bless his soul, can be overwhelming, and Kiryuu swoops in and calms the man down, protecting your introverted heart, flashing you a soft smile and a wink.

Also I imagine he’s so supportive of you running! Does he run a lot? Not really. Does he always make sure you have water bottles for your run, and buys you cute running shoes and workout outfits? Yes! This man also loves an excuse to give you a pampering day after you come back from a run.

He also goes with you whenever you get a piercing! He’s got so many he’s a pro, so he helps with the care process after and if you’re nervous he’s there to distract you!

And his entire vibe screams cozy, gamer boyfriend! You two have the coziest cuddle sessions at his place, gaming both separately and together!

He also gives me cat dad vibes, so I imagine he’s very down for adopting many cats together!

I haven’t read the manga or light novels yet so maybe I haven’t seen/learned something yet but

in The Apothecary Diaries can the consorts not interact with each other on their own?

cause I personally feel like… Lady Lihua and Lady Gyokuyou would be an unstoppable duo??? I can only imagine the gossip between them in regards to Maomao and Jinshi

plus in general they both love Maomao, and Lady Lihua’s respect for her always makes me emotional and happy

I feel like the emperor, Lihua, and Gyokuyou would be just… so fun to see interact all together

I get it probably won’t happen cause the ingrained rivalry and all that jazz but
