Overwhelmed(Vinny x Garmadon) part 28

(I suggest you check out parts 1-27 if you haven't already no promises for as frequent updates I had an 8 page essay I did yesterday about fucking climate change and I finished it and I separated this part into 3 other parts as it was WAY too long)

Vinny stayed sitting up in bed trying to figure out who or what those people were. "How would they get in here...why are they after me?....Why'd I stab them...they just pulled it out...why did they want me to stab them...?" the cameraman thought and began coming up with ideas but none too crazy.

Eventually around 30minutes went by, "Vinny? How long Have you been awake?" Garmadon asked as he stretched and looked at Vinny. "O-oh umm...half and hour" the cameraman said as he looked at his phone. "You have? Did you need something?" The oni asked curiously as he sat up and pulled Vinny into a hug nuzzling into the crook of his neck. "And your voice sounds a little strained as if you were yelling" the oni added. The cameraman tensed, he completely forgot about how he was yelling at the reflection.

"Hmm? No....just couldn't sleep and my voice probably took a while to set in" Vinny responded as he hugged his lover back stroking his hand through his hair. "You were tired before, something bothering you?" Garmadon asked, Vinny shook his head as he tried to make it look believable there was no way he wad going to tell him what happened with that weird figure outside in the hallway and the weird reflection. "Promise..?" Garmadon asked, wanting to believe what Vinny said.

"Promise" Vinny responded in his normal sweet tone, "I'm not that tired anymore......I need to talk to your brother..." The cameraman added bluntly, earning a confused look from Garmadon, "Why?" the oni asked curiously as he looked at Vinny. "I...just do" he responded quickly, he wasn't going to abbreviate on this at all. "Are you sure you can even walk, or move properly?" Garmadon asked earning a nod from Vinny.

"I suppose you can go see him now....but I'm going to wait for you" Garmadon said out in defeat, he really didn't want to upset Vinny. "Alright then" the cameraman said as he stood up wobbling slightly. The oni stood up too and helped his lover balance. Vinny smiled at him before beginning to walk and Garmadon following behind as he gave Christofern a spray of water.

Nya was with Jay and Lloyd and saw the two together going somewhere. "Give me a minute Jay" She said to the lightning ninja before going over to Garmadon with the green ninja. "Now shouldn't he be in bed resting?" Nya asked curiously, the oni nodded, "Yes....but he wished to see my brother and talk to him about something" Garmadon responded as he looked at Vinny who continued walking unaware of his surroundings. "He did?" Lloyd asked as he stared at his father. "It seemed quite urgent" The oni added.

"Okay?" Nya said confusingly before going back over to with Lloyd Jay as Garmadon caught up with Vinny. "Vinny...are you alright? You seem a little more tense?" The oni asked worriedly as he followed Vinny, "I'm fine..." The cameraman responded as he itched his hand nervously, "Is something wrong with your hand?" Garmadon asked as he noticed the itching immediately, Vinny looked at his hand and an idea popped in his head, "Oh yea, it's just really itchy and I kinda want to see if he has anything for it" Vinny lied wanting the oni to stop asking questions.

The lie worked and Garmadon nodded before grabbing Vinnys' hand and kissing it softly. The cameraman lit up with blush as looked away embarrassingly before continuing to walk which made Garmadon chuckle. Eventually the two made it to where Wu was which was the library he was organising scrolls. "Garmadon...sweetheart can you wait here please?" Vinny asked, the oni was a bit sceptical but respected Vinnys' wishes and nodded receiving a kiss on the forehead from the cameraman.

Vinny knocked on the door, "Come in" Wu said from inside, Vinny looked back at Garmadon and smiled softly before going in. Wu looked happy and surprised to see his brothers' lover here. "Ah Vinny, what brings you here?" Wu asked as the cameraman went closer, "I-I umm I need to tell you something..." Vinny said, Wu could tell something was up, the cameraman wasn't in a bright or happy mood, Wu signalled for Vinny to sit down on the floor as he wasn't sure what could be wrong.

Garmadon began walking over to where he thought his brother might be, mumbling things to himself, "Is he mad at me...why would he be mad...I didn't do anything...why does he want me with him..?" Garmadon mumbled to himself before bumping into Zane. "My...apologies..." The oni said avoiding eye contact. "It is alright...it anything bothering you...you seem to be...distracted?" the ice ninja replied. "I am fine....do you know where my brother is?" Garmadon responded.

Zane nodded and led him to where Wu was, then left. The oni nodded on the door and was told to come in which he did. "Ah brother what brings you here? I thought you would've been with Vinny" Wu said as he sipped his tea then signalled for him to sit down. Garmadon sat down in front of his brother, "I wish I was....but he appears to want me not with him at the moment" the oni said his tone becoming sadder at the thought of that. "Why has something happened between the two of you?" Wu asked curiously he wouldn't expect any anger between the two of them. "Tea?" Wu added earning a nod from his brother. Wu filled a cup of tea for his brother.

"I...am unsure if I did something to upset him...but I think he is mad at me..." Garmadon said sadly, Wu stared at him not believing what he was hearing there was no way Vinny could be mad at Garmadon. "Brother...I highly doubt that he is mad at you. You're over reacting, jumping to conclusions. He's probably just tired and moody" Wu said chuckling softly. The oni stared at his brother wanting to believe his words, but he was overthinking it he loved Vinny too much that anything that he thought was annoying to Vinny made him think he was mad or upset.

"I doubt that...he wanted to talk to the water ninja and wanted me leave..." Garmadon said his voice becoming more upset. "Garmadon...why would he even be mad at you..?" Wu asked his brother trying to give him an idea that Vinny isn't mad. "He's in pain now he's probably mad at me because of that..." The oni said feeling guilty again. "He enjoyed himself right?" Wu asked earning a nod from his brother, "Exactly, if he enjoyed himself he can't really be mad he's just moody" Wu added as he refilled himself his cup of tea. "I...just want to be sure he isn't mad at me..."Garmadon spoke out, Wu honestly felt really bad, it wasn't everyday he saw he brother showing this much emotion.

"Maybe you can talk to him later, and maybe if he's actually mad at you he just wants some space so you don't notice anything bothering him" Wu said, Garmadon let out a sigh, "I hope you're right..." The oni said as he finished his cup of tea.

(WOOOO finished that it might not be as good I had a really shitty headache today and wasn't planning on finishing this but I pulled through for you all so I hope you enjoy my stars)

The two weren’t honestly paying attention to what Wu said but Lloyd looked over to his friends and the all gave him thumbs up as motivation, this made Lloyd smile before turning back to his father. “You need let your anger out you need to have a strong negative feeling” Garmadon told his son which made Lloyd roll his eyes.

“Pay attention to your father Lloyd he’s the only one that can teach you this”Wu said, which Lloyd replied, “Fine…” as he began thinking of things he hated. “Hurry up we haven’t gotten forever”Garmadon said starting to get annoyed. “The hell you think I’m doing!”Lloyd replied angrily causing the two to start fighting.

“You think Lloyd will ever learn to control his oni form?”Nya asked, the others thought for a moment, “It is most likely that he will learn as one of his greatest fears is becoming evil as Garmadon was it would be illogical for him not to learn it”Zane replied they all nodded at Zane. “What do you think Vinny? You think he’ll learn?” Cole asked. Vinny turned his attention from Lloyd and Garmadon to the ninja, “Yea I think he will it’ll probably take a while but he’ll learn eventually” Vinny responded Trying to ignore Lloyd who was yelling.

“Honestly teaching a cat is better than teaching you”Garmadon said staring at Lloyd who had many failed attempts, hearing this made the ninja and Vinny laugh. “Brother be easy on him, you can not expect him to learn easily”Wu said. Garmadon let out a sigh, “Well he clearly only achieved that form once and It was only for around 10seconds” Garmadon replied to his brother earning a sigh in return. “Vinny can’t you make him calm down, friendlier or well more patient?” Kai asked causing the others to look at him curiously. “What I’m just saying, if he stayed with Vinny he must have become friends or something” the fire elemental added on explaining his point. “You have a point Kai” Jay said, “Yea maybe you can just tell to well um.. “You have to be more patient?”Cole added.

“Guys calm down he may be roommates with Garmadon but that doesn’t mean he still isn’t a little bit scared of him” Nya said to them trying to relieve stress off Vinny. “N-No it’s fine Nya I can try..”Vinny replied, the others stared at him for a moment, “You do not have to do it if you feel pressured we understand” Zane spoke earning nods from the others. “It’s fine really!”Vinny said before he went over to Garmadon. “I swear he better be alright or so help me i don’t kill you three” Nya said as she stared at Kai, Cole and Jay.

Vinny was with Garmadon, “Can you give me a second to talk to him” Vinny asked Wu and Lloyd, which the both nodded. “What’s wrong?Is something bothering you?”Garmadon asked a little worried something happened to Vinny. “What?no nothing’s wrong…I’m just wondering if you could be a little more patient with Lloyd and friendlier”Vinny replied talking quietly so the others don’t hear. “I-how friendly and patient are you talking about?”Garmadon responded in the same quiet voice. Vinny could feel everyones’ eyes staring at him as he talked to Garmadon, but of course only the ninja except Lloyd knew what was happening, “Wellll…you know how I was with you maybe like that…but it’s alright if you don’t want to I don’t wanna force anything but Lloyd isn’t learning with you yelling at him and I doubt you would’ve learned if I yelled at you..”Vinny said. Garmadon stared at him his cheeks had purple blush on them, he eventually nodded he could say no to a face like that, “Thank you!” Vinny said happily. “I love you”Vinny whispered to Garmadon before he ran over back to the ninja, hearing this made his heart race and his blush obviously deepened. This also cause Wu to stare at his brother for a while

The ninja stares at Vinny with a hopeful look as he went over to them happily.“What did he say?I bet he said yes you literally squealed thank you”Jay said in an ecstatic voice and obviously very quickly. Vinny nodded at Jay, before earning a hug from Kai, “Okay so everyone we have a Garmadon whisperer, like he didn’t even yell or do shit to him” Kai continued. The others laughed except Zane, he was observing Garmadon as he scanned his and noticed his heart rate speed up and face have a tint of purple, Zane was going to remember to ask Vinny about it later.

Everyone turned their attention to Garmadon and Lloyd. The green ninja decided maybe he should exert his anger in the way he did before by movement. Lloyd started doing backflips and random ass moves but he tripped and fell. Garmadon was gonna yell but remembered what Vinny told him then held out his hand to assist his son. Lloyd obviously hesitated before grabbing his fathers’ hand and standing back up, “Thank you…I guess..”Lloyd said out surprisingly. “Damn Vinny you really managed to convince Garmadon were you gonna do something for him?”Cole asked he was just as surprised as when everyone found out Lloyd was the green ninja. “No I didn’t offer anything I guess he just listens to me..”Vinny replied which cause Kai to continue calling him ‘the Garmadon whisperer“Think of the worst thing happening to something or someone you love” Garmadon told his son. Lloyd tried he thought about his family and friends dying but nothing worked. “Try thinking about what could’ve happened if I never decided to change I would’ve gone back to my old ways and probably do worse things to Ninjago”Garmadon said in an attempt to aggravate Lloyd this worked slightly as he had the purple smoke come of of his hands.

Lloyd began thinking of all the terrible things that could’ve happened and eventually began getting extremely close to his form. “Good keep thinking of whatever you’re thinking about, think about becoming how I was if you don’t learn to control your oni side” Garmadon said, the thought of ever becoming like his father sent him off edge and he eventually transformed. “Good, stay like that to control it you need not let the evil side that over you have to focus on who you are”Garmadon said ,Lloyd listened he had to there was no going back at this point it was now or never, he carefully thought about using his form for good and justice not to harm anyone but to protect it took awhile of these thoughts but they eventually managed to do it. Lloyd managed to transform into his oni form on will but not control he couldn’t control the strength which will probably take longer.

Jay, Kai and Vinny fell asleep, who could blame them it’s been 3 hours and they were exhausted. Lloyd went over to his friends and was pulled into a hug, Garmadon and Wu following behind, “You can show them that tomorrow, but holy shit that was cool”Cole said squeezing Lloyd in the hug. “Yea but honestly I’m exhausted and how do we get them up?” Lloyd said pointing to the three sleeping. “I’ll carry Jay, Cole can carry a Kai and well since Garmadon shares a room with Vinny Garmadon can take him” Nya said, which everyone agreed to. “That was impressive Lloyd when we first began I estimated it would have taken 3months for you to transform on will”Zane said which Lloyd stared at thankful he managed to fit it in into 3hours. “Haha imagine Lloyd managed to fit 3months in 3hours wow”Cole chuckles out with Kai in his arms. “I do believe the only reason it was cut down was because Vinny managed to convince Garmadon to be more patient” Zane said pointing towards Garmadon. “Wow so that’s why you changed? Kinda interesting you listen to him but not your brother” Lloyd said staring at his father. “I’ve never listened to my brother” Garmadon replied staring at Wu. “Yes you make that very clear brother, now maybe you should take Vinny up to your room it would be a shame to keep him sleeping there it must be rather uncomfortable”Wu replied out hearing this made Garmadon quickly react then carefully pick him up and hold him bridal style. “Zane take him up will you?” Wu said which Zane nodded to.

They both went up in the elevator and stood there. Garmadon stared at Vinny who was sleeping peacefully in his arms before smiling slightly and blushing.“Your heart rate increased when you looked at Vinny and before when he was talking to you your heart rate increased as well a common thing associated with heart rate increase is love, do you feel a connection with him?”Zane said. Garmadon stared at him and didn’t respond he blushed quite a lot hearing this, “it’s alright I will not tell anyone I am just curious I noticed when we were eating you were stressed but he grabbed your hand and you calmed down” Zane added the elevator reached the top, “So what if I do like him said you better not tell anyone” Garmadon said as he walked away receiving a nod from Zane.

Garmadon reached their room and gently placed Vinny on the bed before watering Christofern and the laying on the bed, “Holy shit..he wasn’t kidding this bed is soft…”Garmadon thought but his thought was cut off to Vinny grabbing onto him and snuggling him, he smiled before he fell asleep.

After another long day at work Vinny finally felt relief as he was at his apartment door he let out a tired sigh before opening the door.

“Good afternoon Vinnyofngtv news”,Garmadon said as he stared down at Vinny.

Vinny let out a little bit of a shriek surprised at the fact Garmadon was at the door waiting for him.

“O-oh god Garm, you scared me to death w-wow you don’t just wait at the door for someone” Vinny stuttered out.

“I wasn’t waiting at the door though”Garmadon replied. Vinny gave Garmadon a confused look.

“You weren’t?How’d you know I was here??”Vinny questioned

Garmadon starkly replies “I heard your keys”

Vinny stared at him for a moment then opened his mouth as if he was going to say something, but then shut it thinking it was kinda his fault for fumbling with the keys so much.

Vinny let out a sigh of defeat and said”Well you’re right you weren’t at the door..”, hearing this made Garmadon smirk.

Vinny went further into his apartment the dropped his bag onto the floor before face planting into the couch.

Garmadon stares at him surprised as he’s never seen Vinny so tired before,”VinnyOfNgtvNews are you feeling alright?”The Oni asked.

“Mhm..yea I’m fine Garm, just tired I had a long day, and how many times do I need to tell you that you can just call me Vinny”The smaller sighed out tiredly. It wasn’t that he minded being called that he just thought I should be easier like would he being calling Garmadon “lord Garmadon”all the time honestly it would be annoying having to hear in.

“Very well, I’ll shall try my best to call you Vinny”Garmadon replied,

Willow finished eating a got up, “I’m gotta leave now” she sighed out, causing Vinny to look up at her sadly. “Don’t look at me like that I already feel bad” she chuckled.

“If I don’t get to see you again before I leave here I will die” The cameraman spoke, earning a louder laugh from the nature elemental.

“Don’t worry I’ll come” She answered, “Someone just needs to tell and if he doesn’t I will never forgive him” she continued as she stared at her brother, clearly talking to him.

“Very well…”Shancai sighed as he continued eating.

“If anything happens tell me” The cameraman spoke to her.

“Obviously” Willow laughed out, “And you need to tell me stuff too…I need relationship updates” she added, receiving a soft nod and chuckle from Vinny. “I’ll see you all in a few days” she spoke as he began walking off.

“Bye” The cameraman spoke as he waved, while Shancai just waved. They watched Willow slowly disappear and then just ate in silence. Shancai finished eating first though and got up, approaching the training equipment, “Whatcha doing?” Vinny asked curiously.

“Just fixing this” The prince answered as he tightened something on the spinner equipment. the cameraman nodded as he finished the rest of his food and drank some water. Shancai signalled for him to get up which he did. “You’ve seen this right?”

“Yep, they have a lot of this stuff in the monastery” Vinny answered as he watched the prince do some stuff that the cameraman had no idea about.

“You know about about fighting?” The prince questioned.

“I can punch and kick things that’s it…I punched Enji once” The cameraman answered, he smiled at the memory of punching Enji.

“Let’s start with this” Shancai spoke as he went to the spinner equipment, it’s that one thing Nya broke in Seabound when Kai was worried about her. The cameraman paid close attention as the prince, spun the equipment. “When it spins around you’re gonna hit here and here” he pointed to two of the wooden logs pointing out.

Vinny nodded in response, “You’re gonna block with your arm for this one, only way you can hit it is if you’re fast enough” the prince added, as he pointed to another small log. Shancai did a demonstration as it spun around, he punched the logs and blocked one.

As the cameraman watched, something shiny caught his attention from the corner of his eyes. As he looked at a box filled with weapons…but there was something a mix of gold and silver. Vinny walked over to the box and looked in it. He pulled two matching things.

“What you looking at?” Shancai asked as he walked over crouching next to Vinny. The cameraman held it up, “Arm bracers, I don’r use those” the prince answered, the arm bracers were pretty nice, a nice leather with a mix of gold and silver as well as a red gem that definitely wasn’t ruby.

“It’s nice” The cameraman spoke, as his eyes practically lit up and he admired it.

“You want them?” The prince asked cashing Vinny to look at him surprisingly.

“I-I couldn’t…” the cameraman spoke, he felt a little guilty at taking so much.

“I don’t use them and neither does anyone else” Shancai spoke as he took the arm bracers and Vinnys’ arms as he began putting them on. “And you clearly hurt your arms a lot” he added, causing the cameraman to blush embarrassingly.

“N-not my fault” Vinny defended himself, as he allowed the prince to put the arm bracers on. “They’re really nice…” he spoke up.

“They are…I’ve never been able to wear them without discomfort” The prince answered, receiving an understanding nod from the cameraman. “You’re welcome in our kingdom you know that?” Shancai asked curiously as he continued putting the arm bracers on Vinnys’ arms.

“Y-yea?” The cameraman answered confusingly.

“You have guilt when you’re given stuff…” The prince spoke, “My mother and sister trust you…I trust you, and you’re not seen as a guest to us, you’re seen as family” The prince added, Vinny smiled softly hearing that, he saw them as family just as much.

“Thank you…” The cameraman sighed, “You’re all just constantly giving and I have nothing to give back…” he confessed.

“You’ve helped us…knowing what Rida and Enji are doing where we can’t see them is more than enough…especially after what you’ve been put though…” the prince answered, as he soothed Vinnys’ concerns. Shancai tightened the arm bracers, “Done…”

The cameraman stared at his arms, he really liked how they looked and they felt really nice, “I like it” Vinny spoke happily as he smiled at the prince.

“Good, now they’re yours” Shancai answered, as he watched the cameraman turned his arms and admire the arm bracers.

“Thanks” Vinny spoke happily, if he had a tail it would be wagging.

“You like the cloak?” The prince asked, as he brought up the topic of the makeshift cloak.

“Yep! It’s really comfy and the pin keeps it together” The cameraman answered, as he stood up with Shancai.

“That’s good…” the prince sighed, “How’s your wound?” He questioned once more.

“It hurts a little, but it’s just like stinging pain nothing much” Vinny answered, “How’s your stomach?”

“Fine” Shancai quickly answered.

“Don’t bullshit me” The cameraman spoke.

“It’s a little swollen…” The prince confessed.

“Show me” Vinny spoke, causing Shancai to sigh as he lifted up his shirt and undid the bandages. The cameramans’ eyes widened as he saw the bruise, it was a large bluish, purplish bruise than covered most of his stomach. “Fucking hell…that looks painful…”

“It’s fine, I’ve had worse before” The prince answered.

“Yea well that doesn’t change the fact that it definitively hurts” Vinny sighed as he rubbed his temples.

“Are we training or not?” Shancai spoke, as he lowered his shirt, he clearly didn’t like talking about his well-being.

“Alright alright” The cameraman sighed, as they went back to where they were training before, Vinny trying his best to lessen his concern for Shancai. The two kept secrets from others, more specifically when they got hurt. The cameraman didn’t tell Garmadon while Shancai didn’t tell his family.

They were an interesting dynamic, but got along. As Shancai continued to demonstrate the actions to the cameraman, he eventually gave Vinny a turn.
