Overwhelmed (Vinny x Garmadon)Part 52

(I suggest you check out parts 1-51 if you haven't already also if you've seen my other post about my own characters,Deity, she hasn't been added yet, but I changed my mind, she isn't 45 and Rida lied about his age in the last chapter, their ages will be revealed in future chapters)

"S-so anyways...what does Enji want from me? He appeared one day and turned my life into living hell" Vinny spoke as he avoided eye contact with Rida, clearly a little startled from his words before. "I think I mentioned this before...but you'll find out in due time...we don't plan on hurting you as long as you don't mess with our plans" The orange eyed man spoke as he returned to his calm state.

The cameraman sighed, "What happens if I do tell someone? Does the ninja know about you two? What about Garmadon or Wu?" He asked Rida, who chuckled softly at the questions, "No no...the ninja don't know about us...and I'm not sure about the other two, they might've heard about me before but not Enji" the orange eyed man replied as he and Vinny continued to walk.

"Why wouldn't they know about Enji?" The cameraman asked as he looked at up the taller. "I have a few things written about me in scrolls" Rida spoke causing Vinny to look at him in curiosity and surprise, "Why? He asked Rida, who chuckled in response and put a finger on his lips, "There is a limit to what I can say" The orange eyed man spoke in a singsongy voice as he gave Vinny a big smile.

The cameraman now confused, whether he should or shouldn't trust Rida. On one hand he seemed kind and trustworthy, but on the other hand...if he didn't want Vinny ask anyone about his past then there clearly is something to hide. "Anyway...should we go to my apartment? I've had enough outside for one day" The cameraman asked, in which Rida nodded.

The two walked to the apartment and made it there eventually. Vinny sat down on the couch and so did Rida. "Nice place you have" The orange eyed man spoke, Vinny smiled in response, before his phone started ringing and he picked it up. "Hey Lloyd...something up?" The cameraman asked.

"Uhh yea... so me and the others and going on a mission, Pixal discovered a high energy frequency so we're all going to check that put, Pixal, my dad and uncle are both staying here in the monastery" Lloyd said over the phone, the cameraman's expression softened hearing Lloyd mention Garmadon. "Alright then...I'll see you later" Vinny spoke before hanging up the phone.

"What did he need?" Rida asked curiously as he looked at the cameraman observing his behaviour. "They're just going on a mission, found some energy frequency" Vinny replied as he fidgeted with the dagger in his pocket. Hearing this caused Rida's behaviour to change, "Energy frequency..." The orange eyed man spoke quietly as he thought.

The cameraman looked at him curiously, "Something up?" Vinny asked, noticing the change in Rida's behaviour. "Nothing...I need to go do something...I'll see you later..." The orange eyed man replied as he got up and left the house, leaving Vinny confused. "Weird...I really shouldn't trust him..." The cameraman mumbled to himself.

Vinny sighed and leaned back against the couch, before looking back down to where Rida was sitting before and noticed a shard...a shard of glass, the cameraman remembered once that Rida told him that he gave Enji a mirror shard that teleported him anywhere. "What the hell...?" The mumbled to him as he looked at the shard and noticed trees in the background.

The cameraman caressed the shard before it starting to swirl. Vinny jumped slightly and dropped the shard, he looked back down on it before picking it up again. He grabbed the dagger from his pocket and carefully attached the shard to it. the shard definitely had some significance and could maybe give some answers later on.

He relaxed slightly and stared at the roof for who knows how long before drifting off to sleep.

Overwhelmed (Vinny x Garmadon)part 46

Wu and Vinny made it to the library and they both sat down, "I would like to know what's happened between you and my brother" Wu said as he pour tea because he can't have a conversation without tea. "Me and Garmadon? N-nothing's happened between us" Vinny replied nervously as he avoided eye contact and itched his hand. Wu let out a sigh, "You don't have to tell me, but don't lie about it, it's very obvious something happened and when I was talking to him he mentioned that some words were exchanged between you two" Wu added as he sipped tea.

The cameraman looked like he was going to say something but instead went quiet and looked at the ground. "As I said...we don't have to talk about it, but I have another question" Wu said in a comforting tone. Hearing this caught Vinnys' attention and he looked at Wu. "It's about that...shadow thing...has it appeared lately?" Wu asked curiously, hearing this instantly made Vinny go could and his tense up. He wasn't ready to answer questions about Enji, he hardly knew him and all he's done so far is give him trauma and ruin his relationship with Garmadon. "Is everything alright?" Wu asked noticing the cameramans' tense stature.

"Hmm..? Yea, I'm fine the shadow thing hasn't appeared again, I just think I was hallucinating things at that point" Vinny lied not wanting to talk about Enji and how would be eve start talking about Rida. "Interesting...there is a chance you were hallucinating or maybe...a dream in a dream?" Wu suggested not catching onto the lie. "Yea it probably was...I've had dreams like that before" the cameraman lied again.

Wu looked back a Vinny and observed him, his eyes ended up landing on the bandage on his hand that was stabbed by Enji. "What happened to your hand?" Wu asked his voice tainted with slight worry. "O-Oh I just got cut by a razor, it's getting better and honestly I like the way the bandages feel on my hands" Vinny said, adding another lie. "A razor...this morning you were in quite a...mood...did you get any sleep last night?" Wu asked changing the topic. "Yea I slept" Vinny replied, it wasn't really a lie he did get sleep just not a lot of it.

"I...you can go now" Wu said calmly resisting the urge to ask something, the cameraman nodded and got up and left. he quickly paced towards his room not wanting to talk to anyone else. Vinny made it to his room and slumped on the bed. He had his faced planted into the bed and groaned before hearing footsteps. The cameraman thought the worse, "Enji if you're here just come out" Vinny groaned, a soft chuckle was heard as not Enji, but Rida instead emerged from a dark corner.

"O-Oh umm...Rida..." Vinny said out awkwardly.

(ya'll I think now's a good time to say that Enji had long fluffy hair that covers half his chest and when I say fluffy it's soft too also can someone tell me what Rida and Enji should be??? A couple, friends, one sided relationship???????)

i've heard multiple people talking about how lego should change Ninjagos' artstyle into monkie kids' artstyle and i honestly don't agree, I'll tell you why. Ninjago has been around for over a decade and has been apart of so many childhoods while Monkie kid has been around for a few years and honestly i love Monkie Kids' artstyle it's fun and creative though you can't expect Lego to change the style of a show that has been around for way way longer

As Vinny finished getting dressed he wondered if Shancai was still awake. He hesitated for a moment before leaving the room and going over to the princes’ room. The cameraman stared at the closed door before taking a deep breathe and gently knocking.

He heard some rustling from inside the room and the door opened, Shancai was awake. “Is something wrong?” The prince questioned, there was no annoyance in his voice.

“Just wanted to check if you were up…” Vinny spoke awkwardly, Shancai nodded in understanding before moving to the side offering Vinny to enter the room, “A-are you sure?” The cameraman questioned, the prince nodded. He didn’t talk much, unlike Willow they were like polar opposites, but they were both likeable.

The cameraman entered the room and looked around, it was more decorated than his room, which made sense he was in a guest room. Vinny noticed that Shancai had a shit ton of hair products, some organised while others just put on the dressing table. The prince pointed for Vinny to sit on the bed, which he did.

“Did you bathe well?” The prince questioned as he went to the dressing table and took off the bonnet, placing it to the side, he made sure to hold up his hair so it doesn’t reach the ground. Vinny pulled out the dagger and began fidgeting with it.

“Yea…it was really relaxing…how about you?” Vinny responded, as he watched the prince start to put other products on his hair, Vinny suspected that Shancai didn’t put them in before, because he had to make sure the cameraman didn’t die in the bathtub.

“It was well…do you like your hair?” Shancai questioned once more, he didn’t seem the best at conversing with others.

“Yep, it’s nice, I was gonna get a haircut later this week…but then I ended up here and it just slipped off my mind…” Vinny chuckled awkwardly, the prince nodded in acknowledgment and continued fixing his hair. “You’re hair’s really nice…” Vinny blurted out without thinking.

Shancai paused for a moment, “Thank you…” he finally spoke up, cussing Vinny to let out a shaky breathe he didn’t even know he was holding.

“Do people normally compliment your looks?” The cameraman hesitantly asked.

“Occasionally…not necessarily my body marks, but mostly my hair and eyes…” Shancai answered.

“R-right…so your body marks…not the vitiligo, the patterned ones…where are they from?” Vinny asked.

“I am…unsure, my mother said I was born with them…I’ve never really…believed it…” Shancai replied, his voice becoming quieter as he looked at his arm covered in those patterned marks.

“Should I not ask these questions? I don’t wanna press on if you’re uncomfortable…” Vinny spoke as he looked at the prince worriedly.

“You are free to do so…it’s not often I’m questioned about myself” Shancai spoke as he looked at Vinny.

“Alright…you don’t have to answer everything if you don’t want to” Vinny spoke before taking a deep breathe, “Was it…hard growing up with those marks? I don’t know much about the kingdom and it’s people…but back in Ninjago people are really judgy…”he asked.

“It was…though I had a friend, he assured me of everything…and he was the closest I’ve ever been with someone I wasn’t related to…. Shancai confessed, the cameraman looked at him curiously.

“What happened?” Vinny asked.

“He…disappeared…” Shancai sighed as his eyes flicked down to the dagger that was in the cameramans’ hand.

“Oh…” Vinny spoke, he was about to say something, but was cut off by the door opening.

“Are you seriously still awake…?” A familiar tired voice spoke as the two turned their attention to the door. Willow…wearing a shirt and shorts as she rubbed her eye from exhaustion.

“Yes I am…” Shancai spoke to Willow who blinked for a couple of seconds before turning to Vinny.

“Are you having a sleepover?” The nature elemental spoke, “I’m hurt I wasn’t invited” she added as he made a dramatic pose, Shancai rubbed his temple while Vinny chuckled.

“We’re not…we were just talking” The cameraman spoke to Willow.

“We should have one, all three of us!” The nature elemental spoke, her exhaustion disappearing.

“I wouldn’t want to intrude and this is your brothers’ room” Vinny spoke, as he looked towards the prince who was putting his hair back in the bonnet.

“It is fine with me…as long as someone actually sleeps” Shancai spoke as he looked towards Willow who smiled sheepishly.

“I’ll sleep I swear!” Willow laughed out as she closed the door.

“Alright then” Vinny spoke as he smiled, Shancai nodded in agreement.

“Shanni! Please I am begging you can we make a blanket fort!” Willow begged her brother.

“Seriously?” Shancai sighed, the nature elemental nodded desperately.

“He wants it” Willow spoke as he pointed to Vinny who was silently laughing at the two siblings.

“Fine fine…” The prince answered, Willow immediately jumped towards the bed and grabbed the pillows and blankets.

“Help me you two” she spoke, the two nodded and did as they were told. Setting the blankets and pillows in ways that made a roof and and soft makeshift floor bed. It took around 10 minutes and then they laid in it.

“I haven’t been able to convince Shancai to do this since we were kids” Willow told Vinny as she relaxed in the blanket fort.

“That’s because it’s childish” Shancai spoke.

“Childish? This will never become childish!” Vinny laughed out, he really enjoyed their company, Willow was the perfect amount of fun and childish while Shancai was the perfect amount of mature and serious.

“See? Even he gets it!” Willow said to her brother who rolled his eyes playfully. “Admit it! You’re having fun!” She begged her brother.

“Alright…” Shancai sighed, “Maybe I am enjoying this a little bit” he added.

“A little bit?” Vinny teased as he laid on his side and stared at Shancai.

“Maybe a lot…” the prince looked at Vinny and corrected himself.

“Yes you are!” Willow laughed before she playfully ruffled her brothers’ hair, only to have her hand knocked away.

“This is the best I’ve felt in a while…” Vinny sighed as he relaxed onto his back.

“With the whole Enji thing?” Willow asked.

“Yea…you two really make me feel better…” the cameraman sighed.

“Well I knocked two birds with one stone!” Willow teased Vinny and Shancai, “You’re both so moody” she laughed.

“Yes yes…” Shancai sighed as he bit back a smile, “Now sleep…mother doesn’t like us staying up” he added.

“Correction…she doesn’t like you staying up” Willow spoke, “Me and Vinny are fine” she added.

“Yea, I slept before” the cameraman teased Shancai.

“Well if we don’t sleep then how would we be able to show Vinny around the kingdom tomorrow” The prince spoke, clearly knowing his sister well. Willow put her hand up to retort, but stayed silent.

“Fine, you win!” She laughed out as she playfully punched her brother.

“Who’s turning off the light…?” Vinny asked.

“Shanni…” Willow instantly spoke, Shancai looked at his sister, before sighing and getting up then turning off the light and laying back down.

“Now we sleep…” Willow yawned as she rolled to her side, the other two nodded and Vinny hugged a spare pillow. “Night everyone…” she added.

“Goodnight…” Shancai spoke in response.

“Night…” the cameraman yawned in response.

Silence filled the room, it was a comforting silence…the sound of the wind gently howling from outside as it entered the room and gently hit against their bodies. Willow was first to fall asleep her soft breathing, then it was Vinny and finally Shancai…

Vinny liked this…he liked this kingdom…he liked everyone he’s met here…they make him feel safe…

(MY FAVOURITE TRIO….these three are meant to be a sibling trio and I absolutely fucking love them…)

“I thought that, just wanted to double check” Vinny spoke to Deity who was looking at the picture with a somber expression. “I know he and Enji used to be friends…can you tell me a little about them? I’m just curious, Enji really cares for him…” he added.

“I don’t see why not” Deity chuckled as she got comfortable, “Believe it or not, but Enji was a sweet kid, I met him a few times when he was friends with Shanni…the two were close” she confessed with a smile.

“What changed?” The cameraman questioned, “Why is he like this now?”

“Not sure, no one is…” Deity sighed out, “He just began attacking the kingdom with Rida, Shanni never wanted to believe…” she confessed, as she watched Vinny stare at the photo more intently.

“They’re wearing matching earrings” the cameraman pointed out, he would admit it was cute. It was a pair of earring, and they both took one, black hook earrings.

“Yea…Shanni still has his, but barely wears it not sure about Enji, I hardly see him” Deity answered.

“Enji wears his, I’ve seen it” Vinny confessed, causing Deity to sigh.

“Enji was the best thing that happened to him…” Deity spoke.

“As much as I don’t like Enji…I will admit they’re cute” The cameraman chuckled, causing Deity to laugh softly, “It’s true though! I couldn’t care less if the two got together, who am I to judge?” He laughed.

“It would be sweet, the two won’t hurt each other badly, other than a scar every now and then they won’t even kill each other either” Deity confessed.

“That’s why Enji looked surprised when he kicked Shancai instead of him…” the cameraman thought to himself, everything was making sense right now. Vinny was about to ask something when there was a knock on the door.

“Come in” Deity called out, the door opened as a maid came in, “Something wrong dear?” She asked curiously as she cocked her head.

“There’s this weird thing in the garden” the maid confessed, causing Deity and Vinny to look at her curiously.

“I’ll be just a moment dear” Deity spoke to the cameraman as she stood up.

“Take as long as you need” Vinny answered with a smile as he watched her leave and close the door. As much as he wanted to see this weird thing, he was too dead to move.

The cameraman was left in the room, it was too quiet, but it was changed by the door slamming open, Vinny turned his head to the side maybe it was the wind? The window was open. The cameraman went to door and was about to close it when he noticed this weird glowing dust on the ground. He began reluctantly following it, and it led to his room.

Vinny entered his room and noticed the dust on his bed near his arm bracers and cloak, he nervously grabbed them and looked around, the room was clean now, other than the dust. The cameraman noticed the dust lead to the window and he walked over to it and looked out of it, it was an open window too.

There was nothing out there and just as he was about to turn around he felt two hands on his back as he was suddenly pushed out of the window. He let out a scream as he fell, bracing for an impact, he was caught off guard when the fall was shorter than expected, but he was still met with his face to the ground.

“Oww…” he groaned as he sat up he rubbed his head, he looked around, where the fuck was he? Not the kingdom. He looked up, there was this weird portal thing, “What the fuck?” He spoke, as the portal closed. Good thing was he had his arm bracers and dagger, so he wasn’t completely fucked.

The cameraman looked around, and noticed bars in the place in front of him, he weakly stood up and looked out, it looked like a…battle arena? And there were people fighting. Now then, seriously who the fuck did he piss off for this?

“I’ve got to be dreaming…” Vinny muttered to himself, as he pinched himself, “Fucking hell…I’m gonna die” he sighed as he dropped down against the wall, putting on the arm bracers, he surprisingly put it on first try. And then he put on his cloak, he had some protection.

The cameraman stared out the bars and watched the two people fight, he felt sick when he watched one of them get impaled and dropped to the ground. Was this some sort of entertainment? Who the hell pushed him too? Vinny watched the dead body be dragged out of the arena as the survivor was shoved in a cage as well.

He really hoped someone could find him. If he wasn’t out of here, then he could only wonder the amount of worry the others would feel. Especially Garmadon… “I’m such an idiot” he whined as he pressed his head against the bars.

Vinny sat there for a while before let out a small squeak as the bars were lifted up and he face planted into the ground. Was he fighting now? Oh hell no. He was gonna run around like a toddler and pray for some miracle.

The cameraman stayed in his cell and looked around wondering who he might be ‘fighting’. Vinny watched a cell lift, as a man walked out. The cameraman practically shrunk there, yep he needed a miracle.

The man looked interesting, a somewhat overgrown beard, long black matted hair, dark emerald eyes, a body littered with scars, and…vitiligo…strange, he also looked somewhat like Shancai. He didn’t have much clothes other than pants.

Vinny watched the man stare at him, the man had a cold expression with somewhat curiosity, maybe knowing the cameraman was new here. Vinny reluctantly exited the cell, it was better than being forced out. He could practically feels eyes on him, and gossiping.

They were gonna fight and Vinny was gonna die, he was trying to delay this and wait and see if the man would start the fight. Sadly the man did start the fight as he lunged forward and tried punching Vinny, thankfully the cameraman stumbled back and tripped on a rock, making the man miss.

The cameraman grabbed his dagger from his pocket, just in case, he wasn’t planning on using it. “Shit shit shit shit!” Vinny repeated as he ran away, but the man was fast and caught up easily, grabbing Vinny and throwing him to the ground. “Asshole!” The cameraman hissed as he tried kicking the man away.

“Just let me kill you! It’s a better fate!” The man hissed as he squeezed the camermans’ shoulder and held him down.

“Fuck no!” Vinny answered as he kicked the mans’ shins and got back up, running away. The man scowled before grabbing the cameramans’ hair and throwing him against a wall. Vinny felt tears of pain prick in the corner of his eyes as he sliced the mans’ arm with the dagger.

“How the hell did you even end up here? Can’t even defend yourself!” The man hissed as he reached to this discarded axe on the ground.

“I’ve been asking myself that question for a while now!” Vinny answered as he backed away, but stopped when his back hit against the wall.

“You’re as slippery as a snake” the man hissed as he walked over holding the axe.

“I swear if you work for Rida or something we can talk this out!” The cameraman tried to reason with the other.

“Work with him?! Never in my life! Who the hell do you think brought you here!?” The man hissed as he crouched in front of Vinny, pressing the axe against his neck.

“I don’t even know how I got here!” The cameraman answered as he forced a smile at the man.

“Not my problem” the man spoke as he lifted the axe, Vinny tried to brace for impact, but instead they fell through the ground back into a cell. The cell was different it was larger and there were tables and all these other people too. “What the fuck…?” The man hissed as he grumbled.

“That was entertaining!” One of the people in the cell spoke, a woman. She had half her head shaved and black hair with purple highlights and purple eyes. She wore a cropped leather jacket with a shirt under and black shorts with neon purple lines.

“I’ve never seen you take so long to kill someone” she chuckled as she sat at a table, and stared at Vinny who was still on the ground, breathing heavily.

“Go fuck yourself” the man hissed as he went and sat by himself at a table.

“Get up” the woman chuckled to the cameraman. Vinny hesitantly nodded as he got up, dusting himself off. “Don’t mind Tenshi, he’s old and grumpy” she spoke as she patted the seat next to her.

The cameraman reluctantly sat next to her, “Where…are we?” He hesitantly asked.

“A hellhole, Rida puts us up against each other to the death” she chuckled, “I’m Nyssa” she introduced herself with a smile.

“Vinny…” the cameraman answered as he sighed and rubbed the back of his head, which hurt from when Tenshi pulled on it. “I’m gonna killed Rida…” he whined as he dropped his head on the table.

“Good luck with that, he hardly actually shows up in touching range and just watches like a freak” Nyssa answered.

“I’m gonna find a way out of here…” Vinny spoke.

“As far as I I’m certain there’s no way to leave, Tenshi’s been stuck here for the longest, 25 years and still hasn’t left” she answered, causing the cameraman to groan.

“Can I talk to him?” Vinny asked her.

“Maybe…or he might actually axe you” Nyssa spoke.

“Maybe that can wait a day” The cameraman answered, receiving a nod from her.

“Hey! Nyssa! What’s your bet for this one?! How long you gonna think he’s last?” A different man called out from across the room.

“A bet?” Vinny asked curiously as he cocked his head.

“They’re betting how long till you die” she spoke to Vinny, “Maybe a week Tex!” Nyssa called back out.

“Oh” the cameraman spoke.

“No hard feelings?” Nyssa asked.

“None, I’m surprised you even said a week, that’s generous” Vinny answered with a smile.

“Exactly!” Nyssa laughed out, “See? I like you already” she added as he rested her hand on Vinnys’ shoulder.

“Is there anything I should know here?” The cameraman asked, he knew he couldn’t trust everyone.

“Don’t trust Tex, or those three” She spoke as she pointed to four people in the corner. “They will backstab you the second they get a chance”

“I feel like anyone’s gonna back stab me” Vinny spoke.

“Fair, also there’s fights everyday, sometimes duos or not” Nyssa added.

“I’m so dying…” the cameraman confessed as he slumped his head back on the table. He looked back up when two bowls were put on the table. “What’s this?” It looked weird.

“Food, not really sure what it is, tastes terrible, but it could always be worse” Nyssa chuckled as she began eating. Vinny stared at the food, before taking a deep breath and beginning to eat too. He really hoped everything was alright back at the palace…

The food was terrible, but as Nyssa said, it could always be worse. And bad food could never compare to when Rushifa forced Vinny to eat flesh, he shivered form the thought of it. “Also we all just sleep in this area” She spoke up.

“Kill me” The cameraman groaned.

“Tenshi was trying to” Nyssa chuckled, as she pointed to the man sitting by himself eating.

Time somehow went by really quickly and everyone was asleep, he hadn’t done much other than sit down and watch Nyssa talk to everyone. Vinny sat in the corner of the cold cell, sighing to himself. Before he cocked his head as he saw Tenshi also awake, writing something into the sandy floor.

The cameraman hesitantly went over to him, and sat down. “What do you want?” Tenshi hissed, as he moved a little away from Vinny.

“Answers, I wanna hear what you have to tell me about this place…” The cameraman answered.

“You can trust Nyssa, she’s one of the trustworthy people in this pack of dogs” Tenshi grumbled, as if he knew what Vinny was going to say.

“That was one of my questions” the cameraman sighed, he noticed Tenshi slide his hand to the axe on the ground.

“Don’t get too attached…when you’re forced to fight against each other one will have to die…” Tenshi muttered, “And death is mercy”

“Then why are you still here? She said you’ve been here for 25 years, almost three decades…why not die and be not with this?” Vinny questioned as he leaned against a wall.

“Wouldn’t you like to know” Tenshi hissed as he looked away, his hand moving away from the axe.

“I know you say death is an easy option…but Rida already made my life hell out of this place, he wants something with me and my friends, a kingdoms’ power of some sort” Vinny confessed, he wanted to gain Tenshi’s trust. “I won’t die here…I can’t do that to my friends, leave them wondering what happened to me” he sighed.

There was this silence for a few moments, “I have a wife and kids…” Tenshi confessed quietly, “She doesn’t know what happened to me either I presume…” he added.

“A wife too? He looks like Shancai and Willow has his eyes” Vinny thought to himself.

“I’ve tried escaping this place for years…no luck but I won’t give up for her” Tenshi whispered.

“Maybe we can both try getting out together?” Vinny asked.

“We’re gonna be put up against each other and have to kill…I don’t get attached to anyone for that reason” Tenshi grumbled.

“Well Rida can go fuck himself, cause we’re not dying” The cameraman spoke as he held out his hand to Tenshi.

“I’ll play your game for now see where it ends…” Tenshi sighed as he took Vinnys’ hand.

(Also! The characters that will be added into the whole story is Nyssa and Tenshi, they’ll be important characters, more so Tenshi, by Nyssa will have a role)

As they walked and walked they eventually followed the nice pathway, “How far is it?” Pixal questioned.

“Just down this path, then we’re in the palace gardens” Willow replied happily as she walked down, vines that protected pathway were retreated by Willow as she kept walking.

As the pathway came to an end they found themselves in an large open area, bushes nicely trimmed into stars, roses, violets and all types of flowers were bloomed around.

Their attention was stolen from the garden as a staircase led up to presumably the entrance to the palace. “Is this the kingdom?” Wu asked, receiving a nod from Willow as he went up the staircase followed by the others.

“Fascinating” Zane spoke as he stared at the interior, they continued to walk, but stopped when they saw a wall, with colourful glass mosaic art, Willow realised they stopped and looked back at them.

“Something wrong?” She questioned.

“Who’s in this?” Wu asked.

“That’s my mum, me and my brother…it’s old” Willow replied, as a small smile appeared on her face as she looked at the mosaic. It was a woman holding two babies.

“It’s nice” Garmadon spoke as he looked at it, before they began walking again.

“It is” Willow replied, joy tainting her voice as she went down a hallway.

She entered a room and was a bit surprised when she saw her mother and brother with a bunch of other people in the room. “Are these your friends?” Willow asked, receiving nods from Zane and Wu. The ninja let out a sigh of relief as they saw Wu and the others enter.

They all bunched together Vinny stayed next to Shancai, “Introductions would be nice, I’ll start I’m Willow” Willow spoke.

“Oh right! I’m Lloyd that’s Kai, Jay, Nya, Cole, and Vinny” Lloyd spoke to Willow as he pointed to each of them, before turning to Shancai. “That’s Garmadon, my dad, Master Wu, my uncle and Zane and Pixal” he added, receiving a nod.

“This is Shancai, my brother I was telling you about” Willow spoke to Wu and the others she was with, they nodded as they studied Shancai’s unique appearance before Garmadons’ eyes landed on Vinnys’ arm and his eyes widened.

“And this is our mother” the nature elemental spoke happily as she pointed to her mother on the ground who gave them a soft smile.

“What happened to his arm?” Garmadon questioned Lloyd quietly, discreetly pointing to Vinnys’ arm.

“We fell out from the sky” Lloyd replied bluntly, receiving a worried look from his father. “It isn’t bothering that much, he might’ve fractured it” he added, receiving a nod and sigh from the oni.

“An explanation would be nice…” Deity spoke, her voice soft and sweet like honey as she stood up from the ground, the scrolls scattered around immediately rolling up and being placed neatly on a shelf.

Their jaws dropped…she was tall…taller than Riad taller than fucking Garmadon. She would be shorter than Garmadon with 4 arms though, but she was still tall…everyone was surprised other than Willow and Shancai, seemingly used to their mothers’ height.

“You’re tall…” Jay spoke bluntly, causing Deity to chuckle slightly. No one could really protest with his statement. She was at least 6’8 to 7’0.

“I get that quite a lot” Deity spoke softly before she settled down on a large flower, Willow formed behind her. “Now then…what can I do for you?” She questioned.

“I-uhh right…” Lloyd spoke as he stuttered out a bunch o incoherent words, trying to recover from this.

“They need help getting back home” Shancai spoke, Lloyd just nodded a little relieved he didn’t have to handle the embarrassment of stuttering more.

“Where is this home?” Deity questioned.

“Ninjago, you’re highness” Nya spoke, she didn’t know what to call Deity, she was the empress after all.

“Please call me Deity dears…Ninjago you say…I’ve been there before, though at the moment my magic ability is a little limited at the moment, I can get you home just not yet” Deity spoke.

“We don’t wish to strain your abilities” Wu spoke, receiving a soft smile from Deity.

“It might take me a week or so” Deity spoke.

“That’s alright, we’re just thankful for your aid” Wu spoke, his voice relieved they were able to get back home.

“In your time being here, you’ll be treated as guests, any questions you have, you are free to ask” Deity spoke.

“W-we wouldn’t want to intrude” Vinny spoke up, receiving a sigh from Shancai.

“Not necessarily intruding anymore, if you’re considered guests” Shancai spoke.

“Well then it’s settled, Shancai and Willow can show you to your rooms, and if you’re hungry you may ask anyone here, they’ll assist you” Deity spoke.

The group thanked her and they were sent off with the siblings to be taken to their rooms. Vinny was practically stuck to Shancais’ side, there was something comforting about him. Sure he looked cold and intimidating, but he seemed to know about Enji and Rida and despised them.

“Soooo, is Shancai older?” Kai asked.

“Hah! Nope, we’re twins and I’m a minute older!” Willow boasted smugly, Shancai rolled his eyes.

“Older than me, but still act like a child” Shancai spoke, it was clear who was more mature.

“If you’re mother’s that tall why aren’t you?” Jay asked Willow.

“I-I’m not that short!” Willow defended herself, as her face flushed in embarrassment.

“Yes you are” Shancai muttered as he kept walking, Willow just pouted.

One by one, they were given rooms, now it was just Vinny and Garmadon that needed one.

“You okay…?” Garmadon asked Vinny.

“Yea…” the cameraman replied, Willow and Shancai let the two walk as they went ahead.

“There’s something going on between them” Willow whispered to Shancai.

“They’re just talking?” Shancai spoke with confusion.

“My love meter is tingling, they’re definitely dating” the nature elemental spoke once more, causing her brother to sigh.

Garmadon and Vinny asked each other a bunch of questions, making sure they were safe and unharmed.

“Do you two want to share a room?” Willow eventually asked the two, causing Shancai to rub his temples in annoyance.

“N-no thanks…” Vinny spoke as he looked away awkwardly.

“We’d prefer to be separated” Garmadon added, receiving a nod from the two siblings.

Eventually Garmadon was given a room, “I’m staying for the night, the Grove can last one night without me” Willow spoke.

“Mother would be happy to hear that” Shancai spoke, “Now then, I would like a truthful answer from you” he added as he looked a Vinny, the cameraman took a sharp breathe.

“Did I miss something?” Willow asked with confusion.

“He has Enjis’ dagger for some reason” Shancai replied plainly.

“Really? How’d you get that buddy?” Willow asked worriedly.

“I won’t inform your friends, but I could recognise that dagger in a row of a thousand copies” Shancai spoke.

“Geez, bragging much” Willow spoke, “But really bud, how’d you get it?” She asked, Vinny was really nervous.

“We’re not working with them, quite the opposite” Shancai spoke, causing the cameraman to look at him curiously.

“Enji and Rida are the kingdoms number 1 enemies…more specifically Enji, he attacks most, Rida plans” Willow sighed, and Shancai nodded to confirm it.

“Listen…whatever they want with clearly will affect the kingdom in some way…we just need you to tell us anything they do” Shancai spoke, as he put a comforting hand on Vinnys’ shoulder.

“I…they both showed up one night…Rida was messing with my dreams, I went to the bathroom and Enji, he used some illusions to transform into me and haunt me in the mirror, one time he stabbed my hand and foot and he keeps threatening on hurting my friends” Vinny confessed, slightly hysterical.

“They play mind games on you…have they done anything else?” Shancai asked, Willow had a worried expression.

“Y-yea…yesterday, Enji went on a mission, he got some chest from there, though Lloyd and the others got a key from there…” Vinny replied, “And well…he came to me at night and made me get the key for him…” He added, guilt in his voice.

“A chest? I can ask mum if she knows anything about that” Willow spoke.

“Strange…those two have never involved themselves with others unless they didn’t have a plan…Enji would, but not Rida, he’s too cautious” Shancai spoke.

“That day as well, I went out and stayed alone, Rida hanged out with me saying how Enji was getting something that was rightfully his…” Vinny added.

“Wow, this is weird…they definitely are planning something…” Willow sighed receiving a nod from her brother.

“Enjoy stabbed you with the dagger?” Shancai questioned.

“Yea, then another time he was about to hurt me again, but Rida came, he helped me bandage my hand then gave me the dagger” Vinny replied.

“Willow, go tell mother…” Shancai spoke, Willow nodded and ran off, “If there’s anything else I should know then tell me” he added as he looked at Vinny bending his knees to be closer to Vinnys’ height.

“I-I will…I swear…” The cameraman replied, his voice breaking.

Shancai opened a bedroom door for Vinny letting him look in it, his voice hitched as he looked at the mirror, “He can’t get in through the mirrors, I made sure of it” Shancai spoke, causing Vinny to let out a breathe he didn’t even know he was holding.

“My room’s next to yours and Willow’s next to mine…if anything happens come to us or my mother” the prince spoke, Vinny just nodded and watched Shancai walk away.

The cameraman sighed and went in the room, closing the door behind him before dropping on the bed.

Was he meant to trust these people…?
