“…the logic of knowledge as a network, adaptive and not commodified, is the most important beacon to orient ourselves and make sure the future exists. What can we learn from this knowledge? For me the greatest lesson is that quality is the most important and sustainable ting. A territory’s criterion of quality gathers together the ethics of that territory’s community, its notion of what is life, what is justice, what is abundance, and what is wellbeing” (66).

"Actually many disabled people do contribute to society" is not a great argument against eugenics, by the way.
Please somebody write a fanfiction thats one of those 5+1 style where its five times logan secretly loves mary puppins and one time he admits it out loud. There is no greater bond than the one between dads and the dog they said they didn’t want. 😭🤣
Was exploring my new plant identification book. New name for the LGBT+ community just dropped:
In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…
And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…
Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.
He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.
Everyone say thank you american indigenous people for cultivating corn, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, cacao, pumpkin, squash, and anything i missed. Makes life more meaningful globally
would Henry love square dancing or line dancing or swing dancing? Imagine them doing some kind of swing dance mixed with some modern ballroom (cuz you know at least Alex had to take some classes) for their first dance at their wedding. Laughing and pushing and pulling each other all around the dancefloor and looking very much in love
