I'm Super Tired And Basically Spending NYE On The Couch With Snacks, But Rick Would Probably Be Slutting

I'm super tired and basically spending NYE on the couch with snacks, but Rick would probably be slutting it up in some intergalactic night club right now.

i’m like actually genuinely crying a bit over this gif rn and this whole scene in general……..odo is just SO happy and thankful to quark for doing something that changed his life for the better. they’re so comfortable with each other here, just talking and having a genuinely nice and heartfelt moment together. odo’s goofy smile…..quark’s goofy smile……now that’s an “i love you and i love seeing you happy” smile if i ever saw one

Garak: How is the most beautiful person in the world? Julian: *blushing* I— Quark, butting into the conversation: Odo is perfect, thanks for asking.

There are only three episodes right now

And I already cried over two of them (and because of character whom I initially wasn't interested)

Screen cap from the Star Trek DS9 episode The Die is Cast. Odo is deteriorating and Garak is close to him pleading with him to divulge something so that the interrogation can end.

"There's a scene where Rene's face is peeling off and kind of wasting away. And I don't think I've ever had more fun in terms of the intensity of the scene where [Odo and Garak] are huddled together. And, in fact, I kept telling them to put their faces closer and closer together. So the intimacy of it was incredible. It was almost like a love story in a nonsexual way." - Director David Livingston re: the interrogation scene from the Star Trek DS9 episode The Die is Cast.

This episode was just on Pluto TV. And I thought it an appropriate time to fully capture the director's exact words about the scene above.
