MCSM - A Vengeful Christmas Cover

I'll leave you all with a little teaser from the draft I working with.
Some time later, Romeo slowly began to regain consciousness, waking to an extricating pain in his head. It felt as though he had a headache, but much worse, almost like a migraine, though he did not feel sick or nauseous. Unknown to him, a dry streak of blood stained one side of his head as the result of being hit with a blunt object. He groaned softly in slight discomfort and attempted to stretch. However, he suddenly cried out in pain as something incredibly agonizing and indistinguishable dug into the skin of his arms, wrists, legs, and ankles at his attempt at movement. Tensing up and leaning forward the slightest, he realized in addition to whatever was restraining his limbs, similar restraints were criss crossed over his torso and loosely around his neck, prepared to slice through his skin if he dared move enough.
Despite his head still throbbing in pain, Romeo opened his eyes, squinting while vision tried focusing on his surroundings. Once everything seemed clear, he looked down at himself, finding he had been restrained to the out of place chair that sat next to the Christmas tree, held down by some sort of shiny, silver string. As far as he could see, his arms, wrists, and legs were bleeding freely from his attempt at stretching, finding that the twine had scraped through his skin with ease. Aside from his own position, he took note of his surroundings, noticing that he was in the living room of Xara’s home, the only light in the room being the illumination of the Christmas lights decorating the Christmas tree. The rest of the room was pitch black and dark and there was no sign of Xara. Just in front of his feet, Romeo saw a small, box-shaped device resting on the floor with a couple of dials. The device ran cords that passed beneath the position of the chair, so he could not tell where or what the source was that they had been connected to. In addition to this object, an assortment of colorfully wrapped presents rested underneath the Christmas tree. The scenery was odd and confusing.
That is just two paragraphs of five pages in total of a draft and I am aware, there are bound to be errors I have yet to fix. Writing is a process as we all know. When I eventually do finish the story, it will be up on Wattpad and Quotev to read. Hope you all enjoy!

DSMP/iDots - Aged Skeppy Sketch (Crimson AU)

I've been wanting to post something, but just haven't had the energy, I've been decompressing, and the many sketches I wanted to upload did not really stand out to me. So today, I took one of these sketches, recolored it for the third time, but before rebased it and somewhat detailed it. As it is simply a doodle, I did not bother with all the details or any shading really. Also, it may look a little messier than my usual art because I actually drew this on my iPad. I must say though, I'm really impressed with my work.
Anyways, aside from the details of the art's composition itself, this is a headshot sketch of Skeppy in my Crimson AU, or current story in the works, "The Return of Crimson Corruption." As you may have noticed in the title of the post, he is aged-- I want to say he has just hit or has entered his 50's in the art, though I somewhat intentionally designed his diamond block persona to age beautifully. For the record, he does not have leopard seed or any kind of disease (at least not physically). The markings on his face and even his hair are chips from past trauma, this being the result of events of the story. I've depicted the physiology of his character's species that after a certain age, they develop the inability to heal their gem coatings and stop growing all together. His eyes are shadowed to display long-term fatigue and deteriorating health in more ways than one (mental, physical, emotional mainly). Oddly, the origins of his appearance was based on a pony design I made in Pony Town, of which was an aged version of his anthropomorphic diamond persona. He is wearing a various blue shaded cloak, and from a full body view or depiction, he wears dark leggings and black shoes. Extra accessories he has to his profile is a gold wedding band.
I suppose I'll spoil this a little bit because I have made people wait for almost a year. In the future of this AU, Skeppy has become an astral sorcerer and knows a thing or two about astrology in the reverse role of taking after his son, Asriel. Like some, he is a stone collector, and studies what a particular stone is used to help with. He favors citrine and white howlite the most in his times of stress, anxiety, or visions, though citrine he uses more often for dreams and manifestation. The howlite he uses only on occasion because using it constantly ends up bringing forth a new form of paranoia and anxiety, of which he can not bear to manage with his underlying conditions as he grows older. I am not going to mention the said conditions because well-- I might be spoiling more than I should and I honestly am not even sure what they are going to be specifically myself. Anyways, here's just some information on his character in this alternate universe.

I’m posting this to all my social media (DA was uploaded day before) on November 25th, 2021, so Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
I think in terms of the events in my writings was where the inspiration for this render was born. Canonically speaking in the specific fandom, I honestly can not pinpoint where the inspiration comes from. The setting seen in the render is based off the "Dakota Version" music video.
The song "Hey Jupiter" by Tori Amos was a turning point in the particular album, and the artist explains that it is a break up song. The moment of whom is singing phones her lover, metaphorically receiving no response and thus represents the departure of the man in her life. The narrator appears to have always put her partner first and she becomes estranged with herself. Now alone, she is left to confront her thoughts, as well as herself. She acknowledges a masochistic side to herself that wants to return to this relationship despite it was hurting her feelings. This is an important part to the song, as it gives her the chance to know herself and become aware of her own feelings, the feelings she had suppressed for so long and now that she and she alone are left to deal with.
On a TV series known as "Storytellers," Amos was asked about the circumstances surrounding the emotions of "Hey Jupiter." She explains during the time that she was in a bind and she was doing bad things. One such thing she describes is being in a love triangle with two men of which she was unsure if they were truly real or not. "Strange things happen when you're on tour," Amos says, explaining during her "Under the Pink" tour that she would see two aspirations of assumingly dead English men at the foot of her bed that would sing to her. Humorously, she explains that she is unaware of how copyright laws work, so she was not sure as to whether or not she needed to call one of the men's ex-wife for permission of using the song. "She's rich, she's not nice. So anyway, I kept the copyright, and the guys forgot who I was-- the song is mine."

Much improvement to this piece, I will say. Though I am not entirely satisfied with the result, regardless I am happy with the remaster.
For one, I was able to capture the render from the original angle I wanted. Anubis (Clydesdale) and Leo (manticore) were resized larger to better fit their species, though Leo I feel could have been a little bit bigger than the size shown here. Leo also uses the proper lion rig from the pack rather than the big cat model with a re-texture. Hestia (white pegasus) has been modified to have the similar ender dragon wings to her fellow mystical species since the butterfly wings were not a good choice and I am unable to find a proper working rig of feathered or angel wings. It’s hard to tell from just one shot, but Ozzy and Abel have new looks for their children models. The last major update to this piece is that there is scenery, greenery of forest as the group of nine (including the animals) soar overhead and admire their view.
To clear up some confusion, I never actually posted the second remaster, so that’s why this piece is titled “3.0.” 1.0 was released to the public, not just on Tumblr, but on my other social media as well. I meant to post this second remaster, but never did out of laziness and the fact that it was pretty much very similar to the original except for Leo’s model and the camera angle. Other than that, it was very basic, so I may not even bother.
