She couldn’t help the anger and sadness filling her heart. She loved Milo. Loved? Was that past tense now? He hurt her but did that deter her feelings? No. She smiled a sorrowful smile to herself as she felt tears prick her eyes. Even after all that happened she still loved him with all her heart.

She looks around the darkness sorrowfully. Then a thought enters her mind. “Maybe it would’ve been better if I didn’t exist. “ Just that thought alone sent her mind into a spiral.

She was The Night Market. Even if just a piece. “What if I were to just disappear back into the market? Would the pain in my heart stop? Maybe it’ll be better to not feel these human emotions any longer.”

To just be absorbed back into the market for the rest of eternity and to not have to feel this pain any longer. Those thoughts filled her head as she curled into a ball and closed her eyes. Tears roll down her cheeks as she sinks deeper into her mind and the darkness.
