So I finally got around to completing the second place prize for the Replica Holiday Special Cover Contest haha. The winner was Cupcakeslushie and their prize was technically a black and white commission, though I couldn't help myself and threw in a third color to get the point across that it's empyrean he's standing in.

Cupcakeslushie's only request for the drawing was that it be their Leo from Empyrean Weeping, which is probably my favorite teen Leo in the whole fandom. I've always admired Cupcakeslushie for their striking imagery and gorgeous depictions of the mystic arts so I really wanted to capture that feeling here. I hope you like it Cupcakeslushie!

Trans Leo pride is something I see a lot, but personally, FH Leo wouldn't celebrate his gender. He grew up around Gali, who went through a lot of gender struggles, especially in his younger years, and with the brothers being so accepting, it's just another part of his life

But his lack of romantic attraction? That's something that stands out to him. He sees the brothers with their own attractions and crushes and such and realizes he stands out. He's different. But that's okay because he's still him and he's still valid

I'm on a "give SJ a happy ending" agenda where kid SJ reverse transmigrated into the modern world and subsequently gets adopted by kid SY. In this au, SY happens to be an only child who desperately wanted a sibling. He found a feral skrunkly SJ and imprinted on him (right after SJ tried to pickpocket him).
