Zekina Week 2023: Day 6 Beach

I have been waiting two days to post this! This is my favorite of the bunch and hope to color it one of these days. I've been waiting for more Zeke playing a guitar content but fanfics usually have him as a drummer. So I decided to be the change I wanted to see in the world. XD

I'll leave it to your interpretation of what Zeke is singing to Tina. I definitely have some ideas for what the song could be, but I'm personally having trouble choosing myself. Anyway, I know I'm late with the other two prompts. I'm going to do my best to finish the rest though so I can complete the set. I really wanted to do the prompts I missed as drabbles so I can practice my writing.

Trying to practice light and shadow

These sketches made think about exactly one of the many reasons I ship these two dorks. Aside from their quirks having so much potential synergy for combo moves (https://archiveofourown.org/works/13234497 This fic explores this fact and I wish more Kacchako stories did too. I want to see Kacchako do a supernova move darn it! XD), I also feel their quirks also just work together metaphorically. Feeling of sparks and floating are both synonymous with the feelings people say happen when you're holding someone's hand, kissing, or just in love in general. Like, it hurts just how much potential symbolism this ship has! XD Also, Bakugo proudly saying their kiss was so powerful it caused a power outage is just really cute and I love it! X3

@theodd1scout I’m not sure if this was already said (way too many notes to sort through)? A giraffe was actually considered a unicorn at one point in Asia. Albeit, a Chinese version of the unicorn. Chinese unicorns were known as “Qilins”. I just thought it was an interesting factoid to bring up. The comic is hilarious as usual.

I think the biggest win for the Zekina shippers in this episode was Zeke telling Tina that the speech she gave to Jimmy Jr. was amazing. Can't wait until that gets clipped in a Zeke and Tina interaction compilation on Youtube. XD It definitely fuels my headcanon that the reason Zeke likes Tina so much is that she's always surprising him and also how inspirational she is. Also, another moment I thought was funny was Zeke and Tina were really considering kidnapping Jimmy Jr. and feeding him soup (Jay Ju likes soup as it turns out) just so Jimmy Jr.'s dreams don't get crushed. It didn't work because Leslie was busy. XD This is what I'm talking about! XD

Spoilers for Episode 106, "Getting SOME Answers" of "Shadows of the Old World"

I wanted to make fanart for "Shadows of the Old World" ever since I binged all the episodes I had been holding off on for months (so, so many episodes). More specifically, I wanted to draw fanart involving Flint and Olwen because I love their friendship. It's also a sort of love triangle with another player and his character, Adrian. It's one-sided atm for Flint's side while Olwen gives "sees him as her little buddy" energy. Meanwhile, Olwen has eyes for Adrian, but she's way too insecure and full of past trauma to see herself as deserving of love period. Even if the AdrianxOlwen ship is more popular than FlintxOlwen and is more likely to be endgame because of it, I'm still rooting for Flint because he's a short king! I like what I like, sue me! XD Anyway, beyond the" keeping reading" is just a comic of my interpretation of what happened in between during the end of an encounter but before the start of an interrogation. I know the majority of my followers don't follow me for DnD fanart. So to those that don't give a flying fig about spoilers for a series you are never going to watch, I hope you like the art. Also for credits, "Shadows of the Old World" is a @joshscorcher DnD campaign series he posts on Youtube. It's the sequel series for his OG series, "Welcome to the Show".
