Note: This was pretty rushed as I wanted to offer something in hopes of getting Albedo, but procrastinated until 2 days before his banner :)

Albedo loved you. And he knew you loved him too. ‘I love you’ was your parting message every time one of you left for work, and a fond farewell as you departed into the land of dreams.

You had been in a relationship with Albedo for only 3 months now. But still, he found it strange that no physical affection had been initiated - minus random hugs and holding hands sometimes. Of course, he was fine with you not being comfortable with too much physical affection - but the books Lisa had dumped into his arms one day had stated that the usual relationship had by now become ‘lovey-dovey’, or whatever that meant. Needless to say he was rather confused. Was he meant to initiate it first? When should he start?

He sighed. ‘Relationships are rather complicated, after all…’ he thought to himself.

‘Maybe I’ll just wait for them to come home.’

Albedo waited anxiously for you to arrive. He had already planned ahead, thinking of all problems that may occur and their solutions - every possibility.

He wasn't ready.

His heart was beating in erratic rhythms. It was irrational, he was prepared, right?

He heard the sound of a key slowly being turned in a lock. His heart was beating wildly now, and a new wave of nervousness overcame him.

The door creaked and opened slowly.

He could hear a sigh escape you as you trudge along the corridor of your home.

He stepped out into the hallway silently, surprising you as you stumbled back.

"Albedo! You scared me half to death! When did you get here?"

Albedo began to speak but then noticed that you had blood running down the side of your forehead, and grazes on your knees and elbows.

He wordlessly rushed you to your kitchen and grabbed the medical kit from a cupboard.

“Lie down. And don’t touch your forehead,” he commanded, putting a few chairs together. You obeyed quietly, removing your hand and moving to sit down on a chair.

“Albedo, I’m fine! Besides, what are you doing here? I thought you were up on Dragonspine doing your research. Why are you here?” He took some gauze and cloth out of the kit.

“That’s not important right now,” He said. “Just stay still.”

He pressed the cloth to your forehead firmly, applying as much pressure as possible. A few minutes passed in silence. Then a few more. The silence was awkward, and he drifted off.. Albedo was so lost in thought that he almost didn’t hear you saying,

“Hey, I think it’s done now.”

Albedo removed the cloth, taking a quick glance at your forehead to check. Deeming it acceptable, he set the cloth aside and rummaged through the medical kit to treat your grazes. He turned around, only to find that you had fallen asleep.

Albedo shook you gently, then sighed as you only continued to sleep more.

‘They look so… peaceful like this,’

Albedo stared for a while, almost confused as to why he felt this way. How he felt like closing the distance between you, touching your face, skin soft beneath his finger. Like bending down slowly to give a soft and gentle-

Wait.

Oh no

‘It seems that upon seeing their injuries, I got distracted from the kiss.’ He glanced at your sleeping face. ‘It doesn’t matter right now. All that matters is that they’re safe.

Still, the urge was present, and Albedo couldn’t take it.

“I hope that they’ll forgive me after this.”

He pressed his lips to yours.

Your watch keeps ticking and your legs can’t stop shaking. three hours. Three hours since you arrived at the destination of where your meeting with this mystery person takes place. So far, you have no luck. Your date hasn’t shown up at all, and hope is slipping away from your grasp.

Closing time is nigh; the workers at the restaurant send pitiful messages your way through their expressions, reminding you that the manager is going to kick everyone out soon. Every time you tell them that your date is coming whenever waiters pass by you, the urge of curling into a ball and sobbing your heart out increases. It’s embarrassing that your date has the audacity to stand you up, leaving you confused and alone for three freaking hours.

Just as you are about to give up and go home, a familiar face squeezes your shoulder and sits diagonally from you, his eyes forming into crescents as his lips curl upward. It’s the assistant manager, Kazuha. Time for you to go.

“Hold on, I’m not kicking you out just yet,” he chuckles, running a hand through his silver hair. An urge to apologize swells inside your throat, and you want to hurl it out. however, he gently places a finger on your lips, as if he just read your mind. “Give me five minutes to change, yeah?”

He disappears into the staff room for more or less five minutes to change into his casual attire. When he comes back, his smile carves on his face once again, making your whole body melt.

“Hi, again,” he says with a small wave. “I convinced the manager to make you an exception, so we can stay here as long as you want. Do you mind if I ask you how your day is?”

“My day would have been great if my date didn’t stand me up.” you laugh rather humorlessly, which causes Kazuha’s lighthearted expression to falter. “I’ve been waiting here for three hours, but things happen, I guess. So how about you, assistant manager? How has your day been so far, hm?”

“Very tiring, actually,” he yawns against his palm, throwing his head back. “Preparing shift schedules, calculating kitchenware and equipment with my minimal math skills, maintaining the satisfaction of our guests; you know, the usual assistant manager stuff. I got promoted last year, surprisingly, so I’m still learning how to get by, but I’m enjoying it so far.”

Your ears perk up at the forgotten ticking of your watch. It’s getting late; the bus is going to be here any minute now. “As much as I would love to keep the conversation going, I have to catch the bus. Thank you so much for keeping me company, Kazuha. Have a good night.” You give him a chaste goodbye before hurrying towards the exit. Your heart wails for the handsome young man; this is probably the first and last time you’ll see him. What a shame, really.

“This isn’t fair.” Kazuha looms in front of you before you know it, blocking the exit. “Three hours. That’s how long you have been stood up, right?”

The room went silent. Your mouth is unable to move, as if it has been sealed shut with glue. Your gaze bores into his, prompting him to step aside from the exit.

“Alright, screw the bus.” He holds up three fingers, representing the hours you have spent inside the restaurant. “That’s how much time we are going to spend together. That’s the amount of time you could have enjoyed with your date, and the amount of time wasted waiting for that stupid date of yours.”

Normal attacks – Ancestral Bladework

Normal: 4 hit attack sequence

Spikes of frost: Sends ice spikes across to an enemy dealing Cryo damage. If the enemy is frozen or affected by Cryo it will deal +50%.

Avalanche of Ice: Plunges sword into the ground for 7 seconds. In those 7 seconds, mini spikes will appear around her in a circle dealing AOE Cryo DMG. If enemy is affected by Cryo or Frozen then +70% damage. Final spikes do x2 damage. She is unable to move for 5 seconds afterwards, and her defence is decreased by 75% for 10 seconds. Energy needed- 80

Icy Shelter: If Xīngxuě’s health falls below 50%, a shield will appear. It absorbs 30% of damage and 80% of Cryo damage. The Cryo status is applied.

Growing Blizzard: When her energy is above 50%, crit rate and energy recharge is increased by 10%.

Adventurer’s knowledge: Display’s all resources unique to Liyue on the mini map.

Constellation: Puerina Magna (subject to change)

C1: Chance of Snow - The amount of defence decreased after using Avalanche of Ice is reduced to 50%

C2: Long journeys - Spikes of Frost has a 50% chance to end its cooldown

C3: No time to rest - Increases level of Spikes of Frost by 3. Max level is 15

C4: Under the cover of clouds - Every time she hits an opponent affected by Cryo, gains +20% Crit rate for 10 seconds. Can occur every 15 seconds.

C5: Increasing Storm - Increases level of Avalanche of Ice by 3. Max level is 15

C6: Aftermath of the blizzard - After Avalanche of Ice is finished, Atk and Crit Dmg is increased by 20% for all party members for the next 30 seconds.
