I Really Love How The Opening JBI Montage Covers Most Of The Main Plot Lines That Will Show Up Repeatedly

Okay man in the mirror I love and lot and all but I hate watching it. I can listen to it fine but when I watch it I just am forced to see every boy (except for Rory and Mike) even ones who joined after season 1 AND ARE JUNIORS get solos and front spots and Kurt is forgotten. Then glee tries to say he dedicated his final song in the club to the men. HA

Oh wow sometimes I forget the height difference between Cory and Darren it’s so cute

Why didn’t anyone ever tell me that if you ask a teacher for help you might just walk away knowing the subject matter???

Kurt your Chris is showing

We need a little christmas always makes me kinda cringe. And I love Chris’s voice so much but the like really high short speak-sing lines he has come off as really sharp? Idk I like most of their Christmas stuff and I’ll still listen to the song I just kinda only like it for the boppiness

I had to go back and listen to this one -- it sounds like the entire song was sped up to make it sound more childlike, which is... weird.  And you’re right, Chris is straining again.  Eesh.  It’s not good.  C- at best.  

HOWEVER YOU REMINDED ME OF THE SONG THAT I WILL THROW THINGS AT THE TV IF I HAVE TO EVER LISTEN TO IT AGAIN AND THAT IS.... THE CHIPMONK SONG.  

Good god, I hate that song.  

Apparently, other people don’t mind it.  I don’t know, lol.  

But back to your thoughts -- it leads a longer conversation about Chris’s voice -- and how sometimes, a high song he can just soar on, and other times, when it’s in that awkward middle range of your voice, he can seem like he’s straining a bit.  The thing, though, that people don’t seem to talk about is that Chris’s voice did drop during the show, and his gorgeous lower register wasn’t used as often as I would have liked it.  But also, sometimes I don’t think they knew how best to use Chris’s voice when in group numbers.

Sam is a child of Hermes. Travel and all that. And also with the Hermes cabin in the PJO books being where all the unclaimed kids go I can just imagine older brother! Sam in full action comforting all these kids with songs on his guitar. He doesn’t get much in the way of powers but he’s great to have on long car rides.

Tina! This one I had fun with. I think it would be fantastic if she was the daughter of Hades. Like come on the goth Tina we should have had more of. And she can totally shadow travel and sense death and things like that. I also think it’s appropriate for her to be one of the most powerful demigods here because Tina Cohen Chang deserved better!
