I’m back in no oc land where none of my ocs seem to fit what do I do

I’m also in fandom dead zone so that doesn’t help

If anyone has any writing/general story prompts or something I’d be very appreciative. If not, I’ll gladly cry myself to sleep and hope that the nightmares are so uncomfortable that I make a new story out of it. /silly

I’ll also accept shojo/josei recommendations. That may seem off topic but I assure you it would cure everything.

Doodles of OC, Clove (she/them), to compare a sketchy brush made in Krita to one made in the free version of Fire Alpaca. The brush made in Krita has heavier weight, and a grainier feel. Whereas the brush made in Fire Alpaca is lighter and fuzzier. Sketch one (Krita), Clove is posed holding an oversized clock and a stone with a bland expression. Sketch two (Krita), Clove is freaked out by something off screen. “Oh my fucking sundae sprinkles that’s bad—you good, Canvas?” Sketch three (Fire Alpaca), Clove looks up at something off screen, distraught, holding a clock and cautiously stepping forward. “The weight of the world should not be on one shoulder.”

I’ve been posting more on my bluesky but here’s today’s sketches as I test the brush engines between Krita and the free version of Fire Alpaca. Krita’s brush engine is my favorite between the two and a close second to Clip Studio’s.

Every so often I get a step closer to my art looking so very Sonic. This time is no exception 😔. THEY ARENT A SONIC OC sobs /silly

Jamm Berrie (oc, they/them) is a purple furred and green horned Zorb. A Zorb is a fictional mammal with big round ears, horns, sometimes quills, and a raccoon tail. They wear dark green clothes with dark purple gloves.
