Bly: Since when does the Coruscant Guard have a Jedi? Fox: Since I arrested him. Cody: Wait...Fox, no. Rex: Huh? Fox: He hasn't left since. Wolffe: You arrested a Jedi? Wouldn't that be a Sith? Fox: No, he's a Jedi. He's an idiot Jedi, but he's a Jedi. Bly: So, wait, let me get this straight...You arrested a Jedi, that Jedi won't leave you alone now...so you're keeping him like a stray tooka? Fox: Yes. Cody: Fox, please. Rex: Who is this Jedi? Fox: Quinlan Vos. Cody: I'm leaving Coruscant.

I made another post about Danny and about how the justice league believes that something exists in the ghost zone then that makes it exist, but I had an idea since then.

So as a joke, John and Danny claim to be related. (Jazz, Dan, and Dani get in on it too.)

Batman: ...you have a family.

John: what? You think you're the only one with kids?

Batman: that *points at Dan* is a grown ass man.

Dan: hey dad, Jazz wants to know if you'll pick up some milk from the store, she says we're out.

John: sure, she want anything else?

Dan: nah but Dani wants you to grab some pizza while you're there.

Batman:....

And at some point, they start coming to him with their problems.

Dan needs a place to stay? Johns couch is free.

Danny needs help with schoolwork? John might not know what the answer is, but he'll try and help.

Jazz needs someone to rant to? She'll call John.

Dani needs help dismantling a cult? John will be right there in an hour.

They don't acknowledge it outloud, but if they have a problem John is the first person they think of to call for help.

The ghost zone and it's inhabitants also accept John as the ghost kids parent, like if they say it's true then it must be true.

Then they start changing just a bit.

Their hair gets lighter (closer to blonde) their eyes change by a couple shades, and unknown to them, their DNA changes.

And they don't really notice it...

Until they start developing magic.

And Jazz nearly kills someone with that magic when her breakfast attacks her.

Tim with the YJ. “If Red Tornado didn’t see us with anything that is DIRECTLY tied to the act he won’t yell at us.”

Red Tornado yells at them later.

Bruce: This plan of yours, one assumes it is entirely legal?

Dick: Yep.

Tim: Of course.

Jason: Entirely.

Damian: Obviously

Bruce: Right…I Wasn’t here. Didn’t see it. Couldn’t have stopped you.

Barry is horrified and freaks out. He didn’t know that Shazam was BABY!

I was just thinking about how the Rogues, Len especially, don’t get enough recognition for having near Bruce Wayne levels of ‘Is anyone gonna adopt that?’ when it comes to kids.

Obviously it started with Wally after Barry’s disappearance. Len and Mick basically looked at him and went ‘Ope, Barry’s gone. I guess it’s up to us to raise him now.’ while Wally looks on, totally confused as these two former criminals show up at his house for barbecues and make sure his wiring gets done properly. He will spend the rest of his career being Kid to them, and probably gets noogied regularly.

The entire team adopts their tailor’s nephew and raise him, even before any of them tried to turn straight. Just this little bullied kid sitting on their laps, learning to cheat at poker, getting walked to and from school to make sure he doesn’t get beaten up.

When Owen shows up on the scene, Len knows that Lisa isn’t his mom, but he still goes straight in with his ‘Rogues are family’ speech and starts calling him Son and bragging that his boy’s got Speed.

I can just see Captain Marvel showing up in Central to help Flash with something, and every Rogue in the city just lifting their head and sniffing the air because ‘There’s a sad orphan out there somewhere who needs love and attention and to be called Champ.’ Next thing he knows, Billy’s got a new family fitting him for a cool new suit and making sure he gets into a good school and he’s not entirely sure how this is gonna go down with the League but that night Barry gets a three hour long lecture about letting a kid fight monsters which he can’t get out of because he’s frozen to a wall.

the batkids will deliberately get jason into their favorite pieces of media so he’ll write fanfiction for it.

dick discovered this strategy when he forced jason to watch one of his favorite shows with him. he’d totally forgotten that the show ended on a cliffhanger before it was cancelled, but rewatching it brought back that feeling of dissatisfaction he had the first time around. so dick opens up the ao3 tag for the show and to his surprise, there’s a brand new fic addressing every single loose end, complete with beautiful prose and amazing characterization. dick practically weeps. it’s only when he realizes some of the things in the fic match up with the rants jason had during their watch of the show that he has barbara confirm his suspicions about who the author is.

somehow everybody but jason gets wind of this and they’re taking unashamed advantage of it. the next time they see a movie together, stephanie leans over to jason to whisper about the romantic potential between two characters. she gets like three fics for her ship out of that. when jason goes outside, barbara switches electronic billboards and redirects taxis with ads for her favorite show. and of course, every targeted ad on his phone and computer are for the same show. when he finally gives in and watches it, barbara ends up with plenty of content to get her through the between seasons break.

everybody in jason’s family is subscribed to the ao3 account that he doesn’t know they know he has. one day, they’re all chilling in the library, and at the same time jason publishes his latest fic (for a movie bruce of all people was very insistent he watch), everybody’s email notifications go off. he narrows his eyes suspiciously. “just some wayne enterprises stuff.” “got a package delivered.” “what’s an email?”

it’s fine. he’ll let them get away with it. besides, he does the same thing to damian to get fanart out of him.

People are so forgetful. Like whenever Bruce isn’t a shitty dad he’s like, “Tim! Tim! My boy! My second favorite(Jason’s the first) son! Tim? Oh yes! Of course you can do this! Oh? No absolutely not! I can’t lose you!” And it’s hilarious because Tim dragged him out of hell and now I’m pretty sure if Tim ever went villain Bruce would ould just shatter

i am highly amused by the fanon idea that bruce never gave tim any love/attention/time of day because their dynamic in comics (when bruce wasn't being an asshole) was basically

bruce: tim, i'm going to pay for you to get special around the world training

bruce: tim, i made you a sandwich

bruce: tim, i made you a special robin car

bruce: tim, i've paid for an entire vacation for your school so you can check out something out for me

bruce: tim, i heard your girlfriend was leaving town and i didn't want you to be sad so i bought out the whole block of stores and now she can stay and go to school with you

bruce: tim, i have made new gadgets for us

bruce: tim, i hear you're going to boarding school. here, have my personal valet.

bruce: tim, of course you and dick can come visit me at work, behave yourself, and when i have amnesia i'm going to call you the boys and lucius fox is going to know exactly who i am talking about so i clearly must talk about the two of you at work a lot

bruce: tim, let's listen to the clash together

bruce: tim, of course you can build your nest where my parents died

Cassie: Rob is NEVER around when we do something that the Bat asks.

Tim: Ride or die.

Bart: I think I lit something on fire!

Kon: no, that was me

"Aren't you worried they're gonna kill him?!"
