This debate of fiction “corrupting” society has existed for longer than I or any of you have been alive. No, media does not exist in a vacuum, and no, a child should not be shown sexually explicit content or graphic violence because that can be harmful during formative years. This is something I should not have to say. But it isn’t a content creators responsibility to be constantly be checking to be sure that no child is looking at their creations beyond properly tagging and setting up whatever warnings and blockades a platform allows. It is the responsibility of that child’s caregiver or caregivers to limit their child’s media consumption online, teach their child internet safety, and there are more than enough options to childproof a child’s internet experience as a precaution. However, it speaks a lot to the motives of a movement when they only ever target small, independent, or hobbyist type creators making fan content rather than the insurmountable number of “problematic” widespread content that is viewed by loads more people and that has an inarguably larger impact than @fandomfan12345’s ship art of characters from whatever cartoon they’re into this week.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on tumblr, but I’m hoping it’s worth a shot again for when I start making horror content!

Anyway, I’m in the contest for Face of Horror, and I would really love for everyone’s votes! As I get more, it gives me a little more initiative to post content online, whether it’s here, insta, or tik tok. I’m going to be jumping into this because it’s been a dream, but to win the contest would be huge for me. And it would help me pay for some health things I have going on, if I won.

If you've ever mocked someone, or a group of people, who say they're suicidal and you don't have an extremely good reason, then you're a trash person. I don't care if you think they're lying, if they "can't possibly be suicidal" because "they have it so good" or "they're just overreacting"; there is a very good chance that you could be the cause of their death. Everything is an act and an overreaction until we follow through with it and you realize that when you could've helped us or even just left us alone, you chose to mock us and dismiss us because you were ignorant.
