I used to make a ton of Psychonauts pixel art back when I got started (art I now think is… not very good, to be generous–you know how that goes). The game meant a lot to me back then, and with the sequel finally on the horizon, I wanted to revisit that. Here’s some assorted new Psychonauts pixel art!

Featuring: all-new animated Shrine of Sight DS mockup, a remake of an old Main Lodge mockup, and sprites of the main cast, the camp kids, and the Thorney Towers crew!

Keever fills the tanks with water once he’s sculpted and placed the miniatures, and colored lights and pigments create dense, atmospheric environments. He views his works as an evolution of the landscape tradition and deliberately acknowledges the conceptual artifice.”
