Sounds like a skill issue, but whatever.

I can feel my ability to speak clearlyb just. Disintegrating. As I get drawn ever more into Tumblr.

Which is a problem because I'm also trying to do creative writing/fanfiction stuff.

So my writing keeps flip-flopping between-

"Neurodivergent avid reader with ALL the words memorized"

and

"Plant gremlin go yoinky the trash"

in light of recent events i'd like to make it clear again that trans people, especially trans women, are extremely welcome on my blog and in my hockey community no matter what. i would welcome trans women on my team any day (and i would welcome them to be really good, too, not just limited to an "acceptable" standard of mediocrity/anonymity that seems to be one of the more common arguments for trans inclusion in women's sports). trans women are women, trans men are men, genderqueer and nonbinary people's genders are real, and everyone deserves respect and will find it with me.

okay I am begging people to understand that it is not "planned obsolescence" or "corporate greed" for manufacturers to stop selling things because genuinely better technologies become available. I just had someone arguing with me that they should be able to buy a new nickel-cadmium battery for their 25-year-old cordless vacuum. NiCd batteries were outlawed a decade ago for very good reasons. if you really want to have the same effect as using one you can just go out and shoot 10 people with Bullets That Give You Cancer and then rip out your own kidney

Sometimes toads appear around the house, especially in the evening or at night. The dogs are scared of them, the cats just think they are rocks apparently, and the chickens will devour any they can catch, but sometimes we find them first and get a picture of them.

If I made it 6 days, 3 weeks, 5 months, a year, 2 decades, 6 centuries without needing it, it's fine for another few spans of time!

Currently using a Minecraft mod as my media player, since it lets my computer handle it without destroying my browser or YouTube history.

This mod is better than the YouTube Music app.

I could even add ambience by letting the regular game play in the background.

When calculating years, especially by dividing large numbers of hours, does anybody else divide by 365.25 instead of 365 to account for leap years automatically?

Or am I just being dumb/extra. I can't actually tell anymore.

Three weeks later, I'm lounging on the beach of an incredibly far away island, reading about how the kingdom collapsed basically instantaneously because the "new guy" they hired couldn't sanctify the literal hellgates across the entirety of the kingdom. The ones they originally hired my sect to pacify and draw magic from.

At least the new kingdom isn't trying to load all of that onto a single clergy member. Better benefits too.
