I Bought One Of The New Holographic Stickers From My Fundraiser To Test, Here's How It Turned Out. As

A new sticker design for the fundraiser. You can find it on a few other products too but I mostly made it with stickers in mind. Found here.

As usual ALL PROCEEDS from my work are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining in America until it's safe for her to travel back home and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with.

I'm very sick this week so my fundraising shop may slow down a little bit, I'll do my best to keep at it. The friend I am fundraising for is so sweet, he and his partner have brought me food and tea and generally taken care of me so much despite all that they are going through with their families back home under attack. They're really good people.

Here's a quick overlay design I made with a Palestinian flag and a weathered paper texture, shown here on a sticker. You can find it on various products here. My full shop can be found here. All proceeds go to supporting my Palestinian best friend's loved ones through this war. He will donate anything they don't need to the charities he works with.

EVERYTHING I EARN from my shop is for my best friend, a Palestinian grad student living in America. The money is sent home to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.

I made a second pixel art design for my fundraising shop, found here. It's a woman with a keffiyeh and a Palestinian dress featuring tatreez embroidery. It was made with stickers in mind but it is available on a lot of products. The original (below) is found here.

I also just want to add in light of all the turmoil in US politics right now, please keep an eye on Gaza. Don't stop protesting, and vote in an informed way across the ballot. Just because our national politics are fucked up right now doesn't mean we can't make progress locally. If you want to see more progressives make it to the national stage then support your local progressives now while they're just starting out. Support local divestment pushes and get involved in relevant local activist groups (university clubs such as SJP, etc). Every bit helps, and we need to keep the pressure on.

New Palestine Designs

My best friend (an absolutely brilliant scientist and compassionate social activist, seriously the best person ever) is Palestinian, and a lot of his friends and family all around the Levant are being affected by the war. I have recently started adding Palestine related designs to my shop and I will continue to do so. Any and all money from those will go first and foremost to making sure his girlfriend gets to America safely, and after that helping his other loved ones weather this.
