You know you're in for some grade a goo man shenanigans when there's a random rat having way too much focus put on it.
People who smoke while walking: I hate you
I do love that scene in the man trap where uhura chastises spock for not reacting emotionally to a dead crewman because it could be kirk and "he's the closest thing you have to a friend" all the while spock has spent the entire time since the death announcement looking like he's about to throw up.
my favorite characters from each of the series i have watched. i find it incredibly interesting that these are also the characters who have a big focus on finding/understanding their humanity. idk what that says about me but it's probably important
Ok but consider: this could work both ways! Julian recognising Garak's stitching/technique on a recently fixed piece of clothing or fabric. I also don't know when this would take place or why and how Julian would get his hands on something garak patched up or what stitching would be as recognisable as surgery techniques but the idea won't let me go.
listening to the a stitch in time audiobook has me deep in the garashir trenches again and I'm thinking about my favorite mash episode where hawkeye goes to battalion aid and everyone is wondering if he's dead and they can't get through to find out and then bj recognizes his stitches on a patient so they know he's alive
anyway idk when or where it would take place but I am rotating the idea in my mind and may come back to it
Ahmed's family's campaign has raised €976/€20,000. Ahmed is displaced in southern Gaza caring for his father and brothers while his wife is alone in the north with their fifteen-month-old daughter, Najah, under constant bombardment. They have lost a child before and live in anxiety and fear of never seeing one another again. Just a few days ago, Ahmed's encampment was bombed, and last night he received news their home in the north was destroyed. Any donations help support safe passage so the family can reunite. This campaign has been vetted and promoted by @/gaza-evacuation funds here. (contacted by @najah-meshal)

tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.
I just dropped part of my eyebrow piercing into my cereal.
