Just a few ways to helpā¦
When thereās a fire in LA we can talk about the loss of life and the near irreparable harm done to the communities living there.
When itās Ukraine, Palestine, Afghanistan, etc we only talk about it through a lens of politics. Please treat all loss of human life as loss of human life. A war is a wildfire as well.

PLEASE DONATE!!! This is our best way of helping as citizens, i know many of us donāt live in L.A. so if you have the money to do so please donate to these causes. They really need our help and support so more people donāt get displaced and the people that have sadly lost their homes have a support system.
Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, Mandy Moore, Ricki Lake, Eugene Levy, Cary Elwes, Heidi Montage and Spencer Pratt, Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, Diane Warren, James Wood, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Miles Teller, and Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles have all lost their homes.
Before anyone goes "Well, they're rich, who gives a fuck?" Here's the thing. Yes, they're rich--but that's precisely it! Their homes would've been likely the first to save⦠and they're burned down. That's how bad it is! If they're losing their homes it means the areas around there are not doing too well.
These fires are super-bad.
the fires in LA are so devastating and it sucks that there are still so many people who deny climate change when its effects are clearly seen.
to those in LA, i hope you all are safe. š©·

Iām going to need people who donāt live in SoCal to shut the fuck up about the fires unless itās condolences or about aid I stg.
Hey!! If any of you are in the LA County area please be safe out there!! These fires are insane!!
The air quality is terrible!! Be sure to wear protective masks!! Make sure to stay hydrated and avoid any outdoor activities as much as possible!!
Many of the homes that burned down were super old and released a lot of contaminants into the air!!
Itās super scary and Iām praying this ends soon for us!! Please be safe!! ā¤ļø
šŗšø Just an unbelievable water drop by this helicopter on the rapidly spreading Kenneth Fire near West Hills and Calabasas.
I just heard that Canada is giving us water! Thank you to our neighbors! We really needed that! Thank you fellow Canadian brothers and sisters and nb siblings. You guys are the best.
Good advice for fire evacuation. Stay safe
Was cleaning out some debris earlier when I got this.
Turns out it was a false alarm.
At least we know the emergency alert system is functional.
Image from CNN by way of Reddit of one of the fires in Los Angeles. Palisades, I think, but possibly not.
Like many people all over the world in America I am devastated by the wildfires that are happening in California. My thoughts are with the people from the famous to the everyday citizens who are affected by this devastating event
Thankfully, in the midst of the tragic event, there are signs of humanity at its finest, and people helping each other
Also there are plenty of resources that help provide people who were displaced because of the wildfire.
Nothing about this feels real. ABC7 just said the winds are supposed to kick back up tonight too heaven help us
dude as soon as the second week of 2025 starts we're hit with a windstorm which also evolved into LA BURNING and it is so, SO bad. i went out yesterday with my mom and it was so smokey, ash and dust flew into our eyes (we went to downtown LA), and it was difficult to breathe in some areas. its devastating to hear old classmates are losing their homes, whether i liked them or not, its so unfortunate and something people shouldn't have to go through.
I'm lucky I myself live far enough away that I do not have to evacuate, but my heart goes out to everyone affected. People, homes, animals, shops, everyone and everything.
If you can, please reblog/repost whatever resources and reports you find on your page! Whether on here, or other social media. It means so much if you can support anyone who needs it!
Here's some links as well! Share them if you can!
- still being updated, but there is a lot! (200+)
- they help animal shelters (You know Todd Haberkorn, amazing VA? he's the founder!)
- news on the fires and if you scroll down, also some other sources (like free transportation)
If you are also anywhere within the areas, please stay inside. If you have to be out, wear a mask if you can. Use your air purifiers! Air quality is SHIT out there at the moment.
Please stay safe!
