So I slept less than three hours due to my insomnia and needless to say I’m fucking wrecked so what did I do? Right! I wrote something about my husbando Genji. Show him some love everyone🖤

•Genji was smitten when he first saw you. Luckily you couldn’t see his face, the way he stared at you, completely speechless

•He would probably ask you to look at the night sky with him, admiring your face as you observe the stars, before gathering himself and confessing

•He is surprised and overjoyed when you say you feel the same. You can’t see it, but he’s got the biggest smile on his lips and that sparkle in his eyes

•Since then you’ve been slowly making your way towards a relationship, considering your occupation at Overwatch and what the both of you have gone through, it takes some time, but it’s worth it

•Will proudly introduce you to Zenyatta if you don’t already know him, and his hearts melts when you become friends with the omnic

•Genji isn’t a sucker for PDA per se, but expect soft gestures from him nevertheless, like holding your hand or actively searching for your company. In private he’s rather clingy though

•Someone once flirted with you, and oh boy he was at your side within seconds. At first he’s going to politely ask them to stop flirting and touching you, especially when it makes you uncomfortable. But if someone is really taking it to far with hitting on you he’s going to talk with a tone that sounds light, yet has a very dark and murdery undertone. After that, no ones dares flirt with you anymore

•The way he talks and acts is so very different now, you can really tell that he’s comfortable around you

•Apropos comfortable; You have to be patient with him, especially if it comes to revealing his past and his face to you. Poor him is gonna be very hesitant and nervous about it, fearing that his scars might make you turn away from him

•He almost cries tears of love and joy when you look at his face with the same loving gaze as always, telling him you’ll love him no matter what

•The longer your relationship goes on for, the more often he’ll take off his visor around you, savouring your touch on his skin

She will give him the run of the mill; 101 How to Ask a Warlock Out. 

The answers she given was a use and not to him. He probably understand some of them because he’s not use to smart words. So, he will translate it to his own words. 

For example : Ikora : When asking one out, the other side should know how to use their words right. Cayde : Think before you act. Got it. 

He will write them down. The tips she gave him, it become his notes. He might ask questions to her. Questions that she give him the Ikora look. 

Once he learn it all, he will find them. Searched the City, the Tower, the EDZ before finding them, having a chat with another Warlock in the library. 

He approached the both of them and said, “Can I talk to you?” To them, not the other Warlock. They accept his offer and excused themselves from the Warlock. 

“What do you need?” They ask and oh boy, his mind had completely erased all the teachings that Ikora gave him. It has become a blank canvas. 

They were waiting for answer and Cayde’s mind went, “Screw it! Just be your own damn self and ask them out!” 

So he did. 

Ikora, who was watching them, don’t know to react. Happy that her Warlock said yes and disappointed that Cayde didn’t use her teachings to them. Maybe a mixture of both? 

They said yes. They didn’t turn away from his offer. They could feel that he was beyond ecstatic as his optics went brighter. He doused them with a hug and his voice rambles, on how happy he is. 

Ikora gave her blessings to her Warlock and him. IF they take the relationship to the next level.

HERE IS MY TAKE ON GENJI because no one asked:

Genji was once a man with nothing but anger in his heart. When he was deployed in Blackwatch, it had blinded him to their clandestine operations. Much more than that, it had blinded him from reality. Genji’s own brother, the one person he had trusted the most, was willing to sacrifice him for no other means than to uphold the very legacy Genji had been born into. In his youth, he felt blessed to be a Shimada. But after that day, he realized his name was nothing more than a curse.

But he had grown wiser, saw the error of his ways once he had trained under Zenyatta. His mind was no longer fogged with turmoil. Rather, he had come to peace with the events of his past. He had considered himself a different man, then. Forged himself anew, approached life with a different perspective. And when he met you, he felt his life changing for the better. Butterflies arose in his chest, his heart fluttered, and he cherished every moment the two of you shared.

He knew it was wrong. He knew he was feeding the dragon inside him he never wanted to awaken. But he couldn’t deny who he was, a Shimada. It was in his blood to fight for what he wanted, to possess you in anyway he could. All his efforts to suppress his desires had no effect. No amount of excess training nor meditation could stop him from thinking of you. In fact, his deepest fears were only beginning to fester further the more he tried to neglect them. Impulses and compulsions began to manifest. He followed you. Learned your routine and centered his life around it, sneaking long walks to trace your every move. You were none the wiser, thinking every meeting was nothing more than a coincidence. He endeared your naivety and your innocence that allowed him to remain in the shadows of your life.

The anger that had once consumed him before had begun to turn into something far more dangerous. Love. Because he wanted it. He didn’t want to dispel it like a plague, he wanted to nurture it, allow it to blossom into the most beautiful flower. Loving you from afar made him feel whole. Tore him apart from what ailed him, soothed his aching soul that hadn’t felt so light as when he was with you.

When Genji’s father passed, there was no room for love in his life. His father kept their family pure. He and Hanzo were unadulterated by the thirst for power, he had hardly understood it then. All he knew was the freedom to frolick in his family’s luxuries and his own youthful innocence.

Though now he had liberated himself from his former trauma, he enjoyed your company because it reminded him of those simpler times. You were kind to him, just as he remember his mother’s kindness before she too tragically passed. But he could feel the love he was yearning for in you, and he would to anything to take it.

Was afraid aff ye gettin wallap in there " he breathes a sigh of relief as he checks up with you you can only nod 'yes' before realizing you still have his hand in yours, as if feeling your sudden alarm over it Hazard tries to retreat his hand gathering all your courage you pull it back, laying your hand flat against his massive one your cheeks burn as you meet his questioning gaze "your hands are so warm ..." you gulp, interlocking your fingers together "I- uh I'd like for us to stay like this" now it was his turn to blush cherry red, he turns away from you trying to hide it as a smile creeps on his face " Aye, ah would like that tae" he breathy laughs meeting your eyes again " Ye Daft Wee Bastard"
