Omggg that’s an interesting question! To be honest Nina would be the one to confess she’s definitely bold enough to do so.

In the other hand Tenma would absolutely feel nervous and reluctant, there are two options in this situation, in the first one he would reject her (🥺) because bro is reluctant to be with someone years younger. In the other hand he would try to convince Nina that’s he’s not the right man for her but at the end he would accept that he cares and loves her completely and he knows he’s happier when she’s with him, i mean he openly admitted she’s his reason for living

So yeah i guess their relationship would have a slow and reluctant beginning (at least from Tenma’s pov Not from Nina’s because she knows what she wants lol)

So uh! Headcanon that after 🌸the incident🌸, Grimmer got scared of cutting his own nails. His hands start to shake and he ends up letting them grow uncomfortably long and at the risk of breaking.

So Tenma offers to do it for him for as long as he needs, carefully and using little scissors instead of a nail cutter.

(Haven't finished the anime yet so I don't know if Grimmer has any trauma relating to this in canon but anyways)

I sort of took the direction in my own hands where I'm imagining its years later, so any awkwardness has sort of settled between everyone. But I also just wanted to draw Tenma and Grimmer being sweet corny dads to a young-teen Dieter since I can see him going through a 'too cool for hugs' phase (but still appreciates the love)
