Fic Summary: Pearl has lost it all. She forced the only person she could ever love out her front door, and after years of one night stands and drinking to forget, she's engaged with a man. A man who grips her wrist and forces her into bed, who doesn't love her for herself and only the title of fiancé. After waking in the middle of the night, and realising she has nothing left to live for, she sets out in the dark to right the one wrong which had torn her life apart beyond measure.

With a sudden pang, Pearl realised they were her clothes. She remembered buying that blue cropped jumper, and purple denim skirt. She remembered wearing them on those day excursions with Gem at the farmers market. She remembered those freckled hands pulling them off her at night. And she remembered that they had been part of that pile that Gem had hastily packed without much regard to those clothes she was taking before she was kicked out. Pearl swallowed a breath of fresh regret.

I have some yap about this so that's under the cut <3

So basically the paintings inspired by a previously discarded au of mine in which Pearl is a noble lady in an arranged marriage with scoot, who she then kills after catching him having an affair. As a punishment for this shes cursed to turn into a wolf and only become human once a month!!! And gem is a which who finds her and "cures" her by helping her basically kill the wolf part of her which leaves her docile and harmless like a house pet (hence the leash and kneeling).

The no faces is a stylistic choice I didnt forget them promise and we're gonna pretend I didn't finish painting this a couple hours ago.
