I drew this comic for Firas @firasmuhaisenn, a friend who has family trapped in Gaza. Their campaign has been verified by @/90-ghost. Not only do he and his sister Nisreen have to deal with the stress of being medical students, they also constantly worry about their family’s wellbeing.

But you can help Firas’ family.

The main goals of their fundraiser are:

1) Paying their university fees by 1st August. They need about $6000 CAD before then.

2) Evacuating their family!

(King Shark/Nanaue x Clayface) [LONG POST; WARNING!]

^ In the episode where King Shark was first introduced, Clayface rushed in to explain that he (King Shark) didn’t mean any harm and is in fact, friendly. Clayface sounded so proud of King Shark too, when he introduced & talked about him to the crew… <3 💞 I’m sorry but, the smile they give eachother when Clayface looks at King Shark in this scene, always gets me 💞💞 (It might just be two friends being nice towards eachother, but for me, it kind of means something more than that-)

^ Them hugging…❤️💖💞 I just love how King Shark reacts when he finds out that Clayface is still alive and wasn’t killed by the other Harleys.

^ Everyone (especially Clayface - just look at him) being hella shocked when Sy Borgman calls King Shark a pet, which he finds racist.

^ 💖💓💖💖 EXCUSE ME, BUT, LITERALLY THE WAY CLAYFACE IS LOOKING AT KING SHARK IN THIS SCENE…….??? 💖💖💓💖 (He’s so proud of his technology boyfriend <3)

^ I know that Clayface knows that King Shark is alive, after his fin got blown off when Bane made him go into the coffee shop to kill a guy by putting explosives in there, but the little practice-act Clayface said he did for a role he’s going for, really looked like he actually was worried about King Shark before Dr Psycho told him he’s not dead and then acted like he knew + came up with an excuse…

^^^^^^^ 💞💞💞 It seems like they always stand/sit next to eachother (…Yes, that alone is one simple reason why I ship them so much ^^) Another thing i love is how they spend so much time together. :)

Hey jsyk it’s 2018 and if you’re still drawing characters with big lips like THIS, even if they’re pale/not black, it’s fucking racist. Stop doing it.

No excuses. “It’s a stylistic choice!” It’s a RACIST stylistic choice.

“Idk how else to draw big lips!” That’s because you relied on racist caricatures and are a bad artist. Teach yourself. Learn. If you’re not willing to do that, then you are a bad, racist artist.

“But it’s part of the character design!” Yeah, and it’s racist. If it’s your OC, then change it. If it’s not your OC, make the right choice and draw them with normal looking bigger lips instead of this racist monstrosity.

And if this post makes you uncomfortable because it’s calling you out for stuff you’ve done, good. Fix it. Own up to it. Grow.

If you see this and you’re first thought is to defend this: you are racist. You are part of the problem. Congrats. Now work on yourself and unlearn that.
