When you continue to use your deadname because you haven’t decided on a new one yet. You also never correct anyone who uses it while referring to you, because there’s no correction to give.

How did they not think, “Oh, the first superhero movie to be nominated for an academy award was BLACK PANTHER, maybe these other POC lead movies/shows could do well if we went back and saw what we did right in Black Panther, and use some of the same techniques”

people forget that marvel is a BUSINESS. marvel brings disney a shit ton of money, so they’re gonna do what they can to make money- including expanding the universe as much as they can.

Ok, so I’ve seen a lot of people on here expressing their opinions on episode 4 of “Loki” (yes I feel the need to specify which show idk), some of which I agree with. But guys, this is just a thought but hear me out:

Loki and Sylvie are

✨platonic soulmates✨

Loki never said he was romantically attracted to Sylvie; it was Mobius who came to that conclusion, causing Loki to think about it more and possibly misinterpret it as romantic.

Also:

We don’t know what Loki was going to say to Sylvie before he was pruned

There wasn’t even the beginning of a possible sentence, he just said “this is very new to me, um” and RENSLAYER INTERRUPTED (like I know she wanted to talk to Sylvie alone but DAM give the dude a minute geez)

And seeing as Loki has never experienced this before, he doesn’t know the words to describe this feeling. He probably thinks it’s romantic because he knows it’s stronger than platonic, but isn’t aware of what’s in between.

A soulmate is defined as a best friend but more. The person who knows you better than anyone else and makes you a better you. After making that connection on the train on Lamentis-1, they found their soulmate in each other. And because Loki was never supposed to have a soulmate in the Sacred Timeline, or any love interest, for the matter, THATS what caused their nexus event: two Loki variants relating to each other in such a way that could wreak havoc and break reality, because their meeting was a cosmic mistake, and the relationship that grew between them was a cosmic mistake.

This is why it had to happen;

So they could use this bond they share, that was never supposed to even be a possibility, to create a new kind of nexus event and put an end to the TVA once and for all.

Sorry this was extremely long, I just felt like ranting about this. Hopefully this makes enough sense that the Sylki shippers can accept it as a more likely thing than romantic love between them, the Sylki Antis can acknowledge that a connection greater than friendship is present, and those who have no opinion on the matter can find words to use for what their relationship is while also appealing to the shippers and non-shippers alike.

Flashback to when my aroace friend texted this to me:

Anyways, for dinner I had cheese sausages and Caesar salad

When I saw the salad I was like ASGARD and RAGNAROK but then I realized that the salad metaphor is what convinced Mobius to test out the apocalypse theory that Loki had. They tested it in Pompeii, which was in the Roman Empire. What else was in the Roman Empire? Caesars, who would have Caesar salad because they’re it’s namesake. The sausage made me think “you naughty little sausage” from that one video of Tom Hiddleston having a party and he invited Josh Horowitz and he said this before smashing Josh’s phone with a mallet. And my knife that I used to cut my sausage made me think LOVE IS A DAGGER.

Because this fandom has ruined me
