I'm trying to watch the latest "Make Some Noise" episode on Dropout, but for some reason, the audio is really glitchy? The players' bits get cut out or completely silenced, the laughs sound like they were recorded on a zoom call lmao. I don't think it's my computer, as other videos, even other episodes of make some noise aren't glitching out, is anyone else having this issue?

i haaaate google photos I'm used to having a regular gallery app on my phone but I got a Google phone recently which I like except for the fact that I need to use Google photos as my default app. It automatically backed all of my photos up, asked me to pay money to get more storage for my account alongside my phone, and then when I try to un-backup everything, it's shuffled all of my screenshots so I've got pictures I took in 2020 or earlier at the top of my page alongside photos I took like. Today. It shouldn't be this complicated and I reckon the reason it's so bad is because they want you to pay for that extra storage. However, I know, based on my phone storage space and the ability to un-backup everything, I don't have to. It just needs to be less confusing to do

SECOND UPDATE: My computer is going to be the death of me. I was able to watch the new episode on a different device, and it was very good. After that, I forgot about the problem until... it affected my chappell roan listening experience. I'm ready to throw hands with this computer.

UPDATE: definitely something wacky with this device -- after restarting it a few times, I was able to go back to dropout and press "continue watching"... this made the audio normal for about 5 seconds, before messing up again. If anyone knows sound mixing stuff or audio management, I'd appreciate the help! It sounds like my system is automatically muting or muffling certain sounds (laughing, clapping, high volumes) which isn't exactly ideal for a chaotic comedy show with a lot of screaming. I'm working with a windows laptop so all systems are microsoft.

Had a wonderful day at flamecon nyc today with some of my best friends in the world! Saw amazing art, cosplayers, and highly approved of the music selection (lots of whitney houston and chappell roan). I got my almost 10 year old(!) copy of Nimona signed by N.D Stevenson, which is enough to make a grown man cry, and thoroughly enjoyed every second spent. Events like these are proof that small artists, queer artists, and communities forged from love rather than hate are always important and always powerful. Support small artists, support queer communities, and love your friends.
