I wish we got to see troll jim and Claire while they were out traveling and that they were gone for longer than like a couple of months/a year, I feel like it would’ve made their return more impactful and it would’ve been supperrr cool to see them all older and more knowledgeable

Every time I think about the parallel fish scene in the jjk season two opening I lose my MIND because it embodies getos and gojos upcoming relationship so well. It foreshadows exactly what is to happen with them and how they feel about each other in the next oncoming episodes. Gojo looks at the fish representing geto unassumingly with perhaps mild curiosity, embodying how he has no idea what geto is about to do and how he’d never expect geto to do what he does in order to indirectly announce his break off from sorcerer society. Geto on the other hand looks away from the fish representing gojo after glimpsing it, showing how geto forces himself to turn a blind eye toward his relationship with gojo when he leaves sorcerer society and demonstrating the possible guilt he feels for leaving him and so suddenly, causing him to avert his eyes. In addition it also perfectly demonstrates how they feel about each other after that event into adulthood. Gojo looks at the geto fish unphased and curious, showing how he never stops viewing geto as his one and only best friend, the closest person he’s ever been to. Gojo looks at the fish as if he’s curious about what it’s doing or where it’s heading but there’s no malice behind his eyes, he still sees geto almost the exact same way he did before geto left. Geto, very differently, looks away from the gojo fish, demonstrating how he feels he can no longer consider gojo his best friend or someone close to him both for the sake of staying true to his newfound mission and also because he feels like gojo hates him when he doesn’t because of his mission and what he did. Overall it’s just such a good scene.
